സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 135

1 ൧ യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കുവിൻ; യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കുവിൻ; യഹോവയുടെ ദാസന്മാരേ, കർത്താവിനെ സ്തുതിക്കുവിൻ.

Praise you the LORD. Praise you the name of the LORD; praise him, O you servants of the LORD.

2 ൨ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ പ്രാകാരങ്ങളിലും നില്‍ക്കുന്നവരേ,

You that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God.

3 ൩ യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കുവിൻ; യഹോവ നല്ലവൻ അല്ലയോ; കർത്താവിന്റെ നാമത്തിന് കീർത്തനം ചെയ്യുവിൻ; അത് മനോഹരമല്ലയോ.

Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises to his name; for it is pleasant.

4 ൪ യഹോവ യാക്കോബിനെ തനിക്കായും യിസ്രായേലിനെ തന്റെ നിക്ഷേപമായും തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

For the LORD has chosen Jacob to himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.

5 ൫ യഹോവ വലിയവൻ എന്നും നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവ് സകലദേവന്മാരിലും ശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ എന്നും ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു.

For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.

6 ൬ ആകാശത്തിലും ഭൂമിയിലും സമുദ്രങ്ങളുടെ ആഴങ്ങളിലും യഹോവ തനിക്കിഷ്ടമുള്ളതെല്ലാം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

Whatever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.

7 ൭ ദൈവം ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റത്തുനിന്ന് നീരാവി പൊങ്ങുമാറാക്കുന്നു; അവിടുന്ന് മഴയ്ക്കായി മിന്നലുകൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ ഭണ്ഡാരങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് കാറ്റ് പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുന്നു.

He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he makes lightning for the rain; he brings the wind out of his treasuries.

8 ൮ അവിടുന്ന് ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽ, മനുഷ്യരുടെയും മൃഗങ്ങളുടെയും കടിഞ്ഞൂലുകളെ ഒരുപോലെ സംഹരിച്ചു.

Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.

9 ൯ ഈജിപ്റ്റ് ദേശമേ, നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ ദൈവം ഫറവോന്റെമേലും അവന്റെ സകലഭൃത്യന്മാരുടെ മേലും അടയാളങ്ങളും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും അയച്ചു.

Who sent tokens and wonders into the middle of you, O Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his servants.

10 ൧൦ ദൈവം വലിയ ജനതകളെ സംഹരിച്ചു; ബലമുള്ള രാജാക്കന്മാരെ നിഗ്രഹിച്ചു.

Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;

11 ൧൧ അമോര്യരുടെ രാജാവായ സീഹോനെയും ബാശാൻരാജാവായ ഓഗിനെയും സകല കനാന്യരാജ്യങ്ങളെയും തന്നെ.

Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:

12 ൧൨ അവരുടെ ദേശത്തെ തനിക്ക് അവകാശമായി, തന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിന് അവകാശമായി കൊടുത്തു.

And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage to Israel his people.

13 ൧൩ യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ നാമം ശാശ്വതമായും യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ ജ്ഞാപകം തലമുറതലമുറയായും ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

Your name, O LORD, endures for ever; and your memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.

14 ൧൪ യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തിന് ന്യായപാലനം ചെയ്യും; കർത്താവ് തന്റെ ദാസന്മാരോട് സഹതപിക്കും.

For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.

15 ൧൫ ജനതകളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും മനുഷ്യരുടെ കൈവേലയും ആകുന്നു.

The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

16 ൧൬ അവയ്ക്കു വായുണ്ടെങ്കിലും സംസാരിക്കുന്നില്ല; കണ്ണുണ്ടെങ്കിലും കാണുന്നില്ല;

They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

17 ൧൭ അവയ്ക്കു ചെവിയുണ്ടെങ്കിലും കേൾക്കുന്നില്ല; അവയുടെ വായിൽ ശ്വാസവുമില്ല.

They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.

18 ൧൮ അവ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നവർ അവയെപ്പോലെയാകുന്നു; അവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന ഏതൊരുവനും അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ.

They that make them are like to them: so is every one that trusts in them.

19 ൧൯ യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹമേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക; അഹരോൻഗൃഹമേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.

Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:

20 ൨൦ ലേവിഗൃഹമേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക; യഹോവാഭക്തന്മാരേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.

Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: you that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.

21 ൨൧ യെരൂശലേമിൽ അധിവസിക്കുന്ന യഹോവ സീയോനിൽനിന്നു വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കുവിൻ.

Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwells at Jerusalem. Praise you the LORD.
