സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 118

1 ൧ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുവിൻ; ദൈവം നല്ലവനല്ലയോ; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളത്.

O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: because his mercy [endureth] for ever.

2 ൨ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളത് എന്ന് യിസ്രായേൽ പറയട്ടെ.

Let Israel now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

3 ൩ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളത് എന്ന് അഹരോൻഗൃഹം പറയട്ടെ.

Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

4 ൪ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളത് എന്ന് യഹോവാഭക്തർ പറയട്ടെ.

Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

5 ൫ ഞെരുക്കത്തിൽ ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചു, യഹോവ ഉത്തരമരുളി എന്നെ വിശാലസ്ഥലത്താക്കി.

I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, [and set me] in a large place.

6 ൬ യഹോവ എന്റെ പക്ഷത്തുണ്ട്; ഞാൻ ഭയപ്പെടുകയില്ല; മനുഷ്യൻ എന്നോട് എന്ത് ചെയ്യും?

The LORD [is] on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

7 ൭ എന്നെ സഹായിക്കുവാനായി യഹോവ എന്റെ പക്ഷത്തുണ്ട്; എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ പരാജയപ്പെടുന്നതു ഞാൻ കാണും.

The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see [my desire] upon them that hate me.

8 ൮ മനുഷ്യനിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നതിനേക്കാൾ യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നത് നല്ലത്.

[It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

9 ൯ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നതിനേക്കാൾ യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നത് നല്ലത്.

[It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

10 ൧൦ സകലജനതകളും എന്നെ ചുറ്റിവളഞ്ഞു; യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അവരെ നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.

All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.

11 ൧൧ അവർ എന്നെ വളഞ്ഞു; അതേ, അവർ എന്നെ വളഞ്ഞു; യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അവരെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും.

They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

12 ൧൨ അവർ തേനീച്ചപോലെ എന്നെ പൊതിഞ്ഞു; മുൾതീപോലെ അവർ കെട്ടുപോയി; യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അവരെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും.

They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

13 ൧൩ ഞാൻ വീഴുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം നീ എന്നെ തള്ളി; എങ്കിലും യഹോവ എന്നെ സഹായിച്ചു.

Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.

14 ൧൪ യഹോവ എന്റെ ബലവും എന്റെ കീർത്തനവും ആകുന്നു; അവിടുന്ന് എനിക്ക് രക്ഷയായും തീർന്നു.

The LORD [is] my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

15 ൧൫ ഉല്ലാസത്തിന്റെയും ജയത്തിന്റെയും ഘോഷം നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ ഉണ്ട്; യഹോവയുടെ വലങ്കൈ വീര്യം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു.

The voice of rejoicing and salvation [is] in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

16 ൧൬ യഹോവയുടെ വലങ്കൈ ഉയർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവയുടെ വലങ്കൈ വീര്യം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു.

The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

17 ൧൭ ഞാൻ മരിക്കുകയില്ല; ഞാൻ ജീവനോടെയിരുന്ന് യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ വർണ്ണിക്കും.

I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

18 ൧൮ യഹോവ എന്നെ കഠിനമായി ശിക്ഷിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും കർത്താവ് എന്നെ മരണത്തിന് ഏല്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.

The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.

19 ൧൯ നീതിയുടെ വാതിലുകൾ എനിക്ക് തുറന്നു തരുവിൻ; ഞാൻ അവയിൽകൂടി കടന്ന് യഹോവയ്ക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും.

Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, [and] I will praise the LORD:

20 ൨൦ യഹോവയുടെ വാതിൽ ഇതുതന്നെ; നീതിമാന്മാർ അതിൽകൂടി കടക്കും.

This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.

21 ൨൧ അങ്ങ് എനിക്ക് ഉത്തരമരുളി എന്റെ രക്ഷയായി തീർന്നിരിക്കുകയാൽ ഞാൻ അങ്ങേക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും.

I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.

22 ൨൨ വീടുപണിയുന്നവർ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞ കല്ല് മൂലക്കല്ലായി തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

The stone [which] the builders refused is become the head [stone] of the corner.

23 ൨൩ ഇത് യഹോവയാൽ സംഭവിച്ചു നമ്മുടെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ ആശ്ചര്യം ആയിരിക്കുന്നു.

This is the LORD’s doing; it [is] marvellous in our eyes.

24 ൨൪ ഇത് യഹോവ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ദിവസം; ഇന്ന് നാം സന്തോഷിച്ച് ആനന്ദിക്കുക.

This [is] the day [which] the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

25 ൨൫ യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങളെ രക്ഷിക്കണമേ; യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ജയം നല്കണമേ.

Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

26 ൨൬ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ വരുന്നവൻ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവൻ; ഞങ്ങൾ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽനിന്ന് നിങ്ങളെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.

Blessed [be] he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

27 ൨൭ യഹോവ തന്നെ ദൈവം; അവിടുന്ന് നമുക്ക് പ്രകാശം തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകളിൽ യാഗമൃഗത്തെ കയറുകൊണ്ട് കെട്ടുവിൻ.

God [is] the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, [even] unto the horns of the altar.

28 ൨൮ അങ്ങ് എന്റെ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; ഞാൻ അങ്ങേക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും; അങ്ങ് എന്റെ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; ഞാൻ അങ്ങയെ പുകഴ്ത്തും.

Thou [art] my God, and I will praise thee: [thou art] my God, I will exalt thee.

29 ൨൯ യഹോവയ്ക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുവിൻ; ദൈവം നല്ലവനല്ലയോ; അവന്റെ അവിടുത്തെ ദയ എന്നേക്കും ഉള്ളതാകുന്നു.

O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
