ഇയ്യോബ് 25

1 ൧ അതിന് ശൂഹ്യനായ ബിൽദാദ് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞത്:

Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

2 ൨ “ആധിപത്യവും ഭയങ്കരത്വവും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പക്കൽ ഉണ്ട്; തന്റെ ഉന്നതസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ അവിടുന്ന് സമാധാനം പാലിക്കുന്നു.

Dominion and fear are with him; he maketh peace in his high places.

3 ൩ അവിടുത്തെ സൈന്യങ്ങൾക്ക് എണ്ണമുണ്ടോ? അവിടുത്തെ പ്രകാശം ആർക്ക് ഉദിക്കാതെയിരിക്കുന്നു?

Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?

4 ൪ മർത്യൻ ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ എങ്ങനെ നീതിമാനാകും? സ്ത്രീ പ്രസവിച്ചവൻ എങ്ങനെ നിർമ്മലനാകും?

How then can man be just with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?

5 ൫ ചന്ദ്രനുപോലും ശോഭയില്ലല്ലോ; നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളും അവിടുത്തെ കണ്ണിന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവയല്ല.

Behold, even the moon hath no brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight:

6 ൬ പിന്നെ പുഴുവായിരിക്കുന്ന മർത്യനും കൃമിയായിരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യനും എങ്ങനെ?

How much less man, that is a worm! and the son of man, which is a worm!
