1 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 3

1 ൧ എന്നാൽ, സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളോട് എനിക്ക് ആത്മികരോട് എന്നപോലെ അല്ല, ജഡികരോട് എന്നപോലെ, ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ ശിശുക്കളോട് എന്നപോലെ, അത്രേ സംസാരിക്കുവാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞത്.

But I, my friends, could not speak to you as people with spiritual insight, but only as worldly-minded – mere infants in the faith of Christ.

2 ൨ കട്ടിയായ ആഹാരമല്ല, പാൽ അത്രേ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് തന്നത്; എന്തെന്നാൽ, ഭക്ഷിക്കുവാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് കഴിവില്ലായിരുന്നു; ഇപ്പോഴും കഴിവായിട്ടില്ല; ഇന്നും നിങ്ങൾ ജഡികരല്ലോ.

I fed you with milk, not with solid food, for you were not then able to take it. No, and even now you are not able; you are still worldly.

3 ൩ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ അസൂയയും പിണക്കവും ഇരിക്കെ, നിങ്ങൾ ജഡികരും ശേഷം മനുഷ്യരേപ്പോലെ നടക്കുന്നവരുമല്ലയോ?

While there exist among you jealousy and party feeling, is it not true that you are worldly, and are acting merely as other people do?

4 ൪ എന്തെന്നാൽ, ഒരാൾ: ഞാൻ പൗലൊസിന്റെ പക്ഷക്കാരൻ എന്നും മറ്റൊരാൾ: ഞാൻ അപ്പൊല്ലോസിന്റെ പക്ഷക്കാരൻ എന്നും പറയുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ സാധാരണമനുഷ്യരല്ലയോ?

When one says “I follow Paul,” and another “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you like other people?

5 ൫ അപ്പൊല്ലോസ് ആർ? പൗലൊസ് ആർ? കർത്താവ് അവർക്ക് നൽകിയതുപോലെ, നിങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിക്കുവാൻ കാരണമായിത്തീർന്ന, ശുശ്രൂഷകരത്രേ.

What, I ask, is Apollos? Or what is Paul? Servants through whom you were led to accept the faith; and that only as the Lord helped each of you.

6 ൬ ഞാൻ നട്ടു, അപ്പൊല്ലോസ് നനച്ചു, ദൈവമത്രേ വളരുമാറാക്കിയത്.

I planted, and Apollos watered, but it was God who caused the growth.

7 ൭ ആകയാൽ വളരുമാറാക്കുന്ന ദൈവത്തിനാണ് പ്രാധാന്യം; നടുന്നവനോ നനക്കുന്നവനോ ഏതുമില്ല.

Therefore neither the one who plants, nor the one who waters, counts for anything, but only God who causes the growth.

8 ൮ നടുന്നവനും നനയ്ക്കുന്നവനും ഒരുപോലെ; ഓരോരുത്തർക്കും അവരുടെ അദ്ധ്വാനത്തിനുള്ള കൂലി കിട്ടും.

In this the person who plants and the person who waters are one; yet each will receive their own reward in proportion to their own labour.

9 ൯ എന്തെന്നാൽ, ഞങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൂട്ടുവേലക്കാർ; നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കൃഷിത്തോട്ടം, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഗൃഹനിർമ്മാണം.

For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s harvest field, God’s building.

10 ൧൦ ദൈവം എനിക്ക് നൽകിയ കൃപയ്ക്ക് ഒത്തവണ്ണം ഞാൻ വിദഗ്ദ്ധനായ ഒരു പ്രധാനശില്പിയായി അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; മറ്റൊരാൾ അതിന് മീതെ പണിയുന്നു; എന്നാൽ, താൻ എങ്ങനെ പണിയുന്നു എന്ന് ഓരോരുത്തനും നോക്കിക്കൊള്ളട്ടെ.

In fulfilment of the charge which God had entrusted to me, I laid the foundation like a skilful master; but someone else is now building on it. Let everyone take care how they build;

11 ൧൧ എന്തെന്നാൽ, യേശുക്രിസ്തു എന്ന അടിസ്ഥാനമല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊരു അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇടുവാൻ ആർക്കും കഴിയുകയില്ല.

for no one can lay any other foundation than the one already laid – Jesus Christ.

12 ൧൨ ആ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിന്മേൽ ആരെങ്കിലും പൊന്ന്, വെള്ളി, വിലയേറിയ രത്നങ്ങൾ, മരം, പുല്ല്, വൈക്കോൽ എന്നിവകൊണ്ട് പണിയുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവരും;

Whatever is used by those who build on this foundation, whether gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw,

13 ൧൩ ആ ദിവസം അതിനെ തെളിവാക്കും; അത് തീയാൽ വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവരും; ഓരോരുത്തരുടെയും പ്രവൃത്തി ഏതു വിധത്തിലുള്ളതെന്ന് തീ തന്നെ ശോധന ചെയ്യും.

the quality of each man’s work will become known, for the day will make it plain; because that day is to be ushered in with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of every man’s work.

14 ൧൪ ഒരുവൻ പണിത പ്രവൃത്തി നിലനില്ക്കും എങ്കിൽ അവന് പ്രതിഫലം കിട്ടും.

If anyone’s work, which they have built on that foundation, still remains, they will gain a reward.

15 ൧൫ ഒരുവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി വെന്തുപോയെങ്കിൽ അവൻ നഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കും; താനോ രക്ഷിയ്ക്കപ്പെടും; എന്നാൽ തീയിൽകൂടി എന്നപോലെ അത്രേ.

If anyone’s work is burnt up, they will suffer loss; though they themselves will escape, but only as one who has passed through fire.

16 ൧൬ നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മന്ദിരം ആണെന്നും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവ് നിങ്ങളിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നും അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ?

Don’t you know that you are God’s Temple, and that God’s Spirit has his home in you?

17 ൧൭ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മന്ദിരം നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നവനെ ദൈവം നശിപ്പിക്കും; എന്തെന്നാൽ, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മന്ദിരം വിശുദ്ധമല്ലോ; നിങ്ങളാകുന്നുവല്ലോ ആ ആലയം.

If any one destroys the Temple of God, God will destroy them; for the Temple of God is sacred, and so also are you.

18 ൧൮ ആരും സ്വയം വഞ്ചിക്കരുത്; നിങ്ങളിൽ ആരെങ്കിലും ഈ കാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ ജ്ഞാനി എന്ന് കരുതുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ അവൻ ജ്ഞാനിയാകേണ്ടതിന് ഭോഷനായിത്തീരട്ടെ. (aiōn g165)

Let no one deceive himself. If any one among you imagines that, as regards this world, they are wise, they should become a “fool,” that they may become wise. (aiōn g165)

19 ൧൯ എന്തെന്നാൽ ഈ ലോകത്തിന്റെ ജ്ഞാനം ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ ഭോഷത്തമത്രേ. “അവൻ ജ്ഞാനികളെ അവരുടെ കൗശലത്തിൽ കുടുക്കുന്നു” എന്നും

For in God’s sight this world’s wisdom is folly. Scripture tells of – “One who catches the wise in their own craftiness,”

20 ൨൦ “കർത്താവ് ജ്ഞാനികളുടെ ചിന്തകൾ വ്യർത്ഥം എന്നറിയുന്നു” എന്നും എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

And it says again – “The Lord sees how fruitless are the deliberations of the wise.”

21 ൨൧ ആകയാൽ ആരും മനുഷ്യരെക്കുറിച്ച് പ്രശംസിക്കരുത്; സകലവും നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളതല്ലോ.

Therefore let no one boast about people; for all things are yours –

22 ൨൨ പൗലൊസോ, അപ്പൊല്ലോസോ, കേഫാവോ, ലോകമോ, ജീവനോ, മരണമോ, ഇപ്പോഴുള്ളതോ, വരുവാനുള്ളതോ സകലവും നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളത്.

whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or the present, or the future – all things are yours!

23 ൨൩ നിങ്ങളോ ക്രിസ്തുവിനുള്ളവർ; ക്രിസ്തു ദൈവത്തിനുള്ളവൻ.

But you are Christ’s and Christ is God’s.
