1 ദിനവൃത്താന്തം 9
1 ൧ യിസ്രായേൽ മുഴുവനും വംശാവലിയായി രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരുന്നു; അത് യിസ്രായേൽ രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ വൃത്താന്തപുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. യെഹൂദയെയോ അവരുടെ അകൃത്യം നിമിത്തം പ്രവാസികളായി ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.
So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies; and look, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel: and Judah was carried away captive to Babylon for their disobedience.
2 ൨ അവരുടെ അവകാശത്തിലും പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ആദ്യനിവാസികൾ യിസ്രായേല്യരും പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും ദൈവാലയദാസന്മാരും ആയിരുന്നു.
Now the first inhabitants who lived in their possessions in their cities were Israel, the cohanim, the Levites, and the Nethinim.
In Jerusalem lived of the people of Judah, and of the people of Benjamin, and of the people of Ephraim and Manasseh:
4 ൪ അവർ: യെഹൂദയുടെ മകനായ പേരെസ്സിന്റെ മക്കളിൽ ബാനിയുടെ മകനായ ഇമ്രിയുടെ മകനായ ഒമ്രിയുടെ മകനായ അമ്മീഹൂദിന്റെ മകൻ ഊഥായി;
Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the descendants of Perez the son of Judah.
Of the Shelanites: Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.
Of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel, and their brothers, six hundred ninety.
Of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Judah, the son of Hassenuah,
8 ൮ യെരോഹാമിന്റെ മകനായ യിബ്നെയാവും മിക്രിയുടെ മകനായ ഉസ്സിയുടെ മകൻ ഏലയും യിബ്നെയാവിന്റെ മകനായ രെയൂവേലിന്റെ മകനായ ശെഫത്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ മെശുല്ലാമും
and Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Mikri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;
9 ൯ തലമുറതലമുറയായി അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർ ആകെ തൊള്ളായിരത്തി അമ്പത്താറ്പേരും. ഈ പുരുഷന്മാരൊക്കെയും അവരവരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങളിൽ കുടുംബത്തലവന്മാരായിരുന്നു.
and their brothers, according to their generations, nine hundred fifty-six. All these men were heads of ancestral houses by their fathers' houses.
Of the cohanim: Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, Jakin,
11 ൧൧ അഹീത്തൂബിന്റെ മകനായ മെരായോത്തിന്റെ മകനായ സാദോക്കിന്റെ മകനായ മെശുല്ലാമിന്റെ മകനായ ഹില്ക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായി ദൈവാലയാധിപനായ
and Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God;
12 ൧൨ അസര്യാവും, മല്ക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായ പശ്ഹൂരിന്റെ മകനായ യെരോഹാമിന്റെ മകൻ അദായാവും, ഇമ്മേരിന്റെ മകനായ മെശില്ലേമീത്തിന്റെ മകനായ മെശുല്ലാമിന്റെ മകനായ യഹ്സേരയുടെ മകനായ അദീയേലിന്റെ മകൻ മയശായിയും
and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah, and Maasai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;
13 ൧൩ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്കു തലവന്മാരായ അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരും ആകെ ആയിരത്തി എഴുനൂറ്റി അറുപത്പേർ. ഇവർ ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷക്ക് അതിസമർത്ഥർ ആയിരുന്നു.
and their brothers, heads of their fathers' houses, one thousand seven hundred sixty; very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
Of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
and Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, and Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zikri, the son of Asaph,
16 ൧൬ യെദൂഥൂന്റെ മകനായ ഗാലാലിന്റെ മകനായ ശെമയ്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ ഓബദ്യാവും നെതോഫാത്യരുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന എല്ക്കാനയുടെ മകനായ
and Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.
17 ൧൭ ആസയുടെ മകൻ ബെരെഖ്യാവും ആയിരുന്നു. വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരായി ശല്ലൂമും അക്കൂബും തൽമോനും അഹീമാനും അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ശല്ലൂമും അവരുടെ തലവനായിരുന്നു.
The gatekeepers: Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brothers (Shallum was the chief),
18 ൧൮ ലേവ്യപാളയത്തിൽ വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരായ ഇവർ കിഴക്ക് വശത്ത് രാജപടിവാതില്ക്കൽ ഇന്നുവരെ കാവൽചെയ്തുവരുന്നു.
who were previously stationed at the King's Gate on the east: they were the gatekeepers for the camp of the descendants of Levi.
19 ൧൯ കോരഹിന്റെ മകനായ എബ്യാസാഫിന്റെ മകനായ കോരേയുടെ മകൻ ശല്ലൂമും, അവന്റെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിലെ അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ കോരഹ്യരും കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരായി ശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്ക് മേൽനോട്ടം വഹിക്കുന്നവരായിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരും യഹോവയുടെ പാളയത്തിന് പ്രവേശനപാലകരായി മേൽനോട്ടം വഹിക്കുന്നവരായിരുന്നു.
Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Abiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brothers, of his father's house, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent: and their fathers had been over the camp of the LORD, keepers of the entry.
Phinehas the son of Eleazar was ruler over them in time past, and the LORD was with him.
Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was gatekeeper of the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.
22 ൨൨ വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരായി നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന ഇവർ ആകെ ഇരുനൂറ്റി പന്ത്രണ്ടുപേർ (212). അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ വംശാവലിപ്രകാരം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരുന്നു; ദാവീദും ദർശകനായ ശമൂവേലും ആയിരുന്നു അവരെ നിയമിച്ചത്.
All these who were chosen to be gatekeepers in the thresholds were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their office of trust.
23 ൨൩ ഇങ്ങനെ അവരും അവരുടെ പുത്രന്മാരും കൂടാരനിവാസമായ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾക്കു മുറപ്രകാരം കാവല്ക്കാരായിരുന്നു.
So they and their descendants had the oversight of the gates of the house of the LORD, even the house of the tent, by wards.
On the four sides were the gatekeepers, toward the east, west, north, and south.
25 ൨൫ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലെ അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർ ഏഴ് ദിവസം കൂടുംതോറും മാറി മാറി വന്നു അവരോടുകൂടെ കാവല്ക്കാരായിരുന്നു.
Their brothers, in their villages, were to come in every seven days from time to time to be with them:
26 ൨൬ വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരിൽ പ്രധാനികളായ ഈ നാല് ലേവ്യരും ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരായി ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ മുറികൾക്കും ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിന്നും മേൽനോട്ടം നടത്തിയിരുന്നു.
for the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were in an office of trust, and were over the chambers and over the treasuries in the house of God.
27 ൨൭ കാവൽ നിൽക്കുന്നതും രാവിലെതോറും വാതിൽ തുറക്കുന്ന ജോലിയും അവർക്കുള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ ദൈവാലയത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റും താമസിച്ചുവന്നു.
They lodged around the house of God, because that duty was on them; and to them pertained its opening morning by morning.
28 ൨൮ അവരിൽ ചിലർക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്കുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങളുടെ ചുമതല ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവയെ എണ്ണി അകത്ത് കൊണ്ടുപോകുകയും പുറത്ത് കൊണ്ടുവരികയും ചെയ്യും.
Certain of them were in charge of the vessels of service; for by count were these brought in and by count were these taken out.
29 ൨൯ അവരിൽ ചിലരെ ഉപകരണങ്ങൾക്കും സകലവിശുദ്ധപാത്രങ്ങൾക്കും, മാവ്, വീഞ്ഞ്, കുന്തുരുക്കം, സുഗന്ധവർഗ്ഗം എന്നിവയ്ക്കും മേൽനോട്ടക്കാരായി നിയമിച്ചിരുന്നു.
Some of them also were appointed over the furniture, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
Some of the sons of the cohanim prepared the confection of the spices.
31 ൩൧ ലേവ്യരിൽ ഒരുവനായ കോരഹ്യനായ ശല്ലൂമിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതൻ മത്ഥിഥ്യാവിന് ചട്ടികളിൽ ചുട്ടുണ്ടാക്കിയ സാധനങ്ങളുടെ മേൽനോട്ടം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the office of trust over the things that were baked in pans.
32 ൩൨ കെഹാത്യരായ അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരിൽ ചിലർക്കു ശബ്ബത്തുതോറും കാഴ്ചയപ്പം ഒരുക്കുവാനുള്ള ചുമതല ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
Some of their brothers, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the show bread, to prepare it every Sabbath.
33 ൩൩ ലേവ്യരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങളിൽ പ്രധാനികളായ ഇവർ സംഗീതക്കാരായി അവിടെ താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു. അവർ രാവും പകലും തങ്ങളുടെ വേല ചെയ്യേണ്ടിയിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു മറ്റു ശുശ്രൂഷകളിൽനിന്ന് ഒഴിവുള്ളവരായിരുന്നു.
These are the singers, heads of ancestral houses of the Levites, who lived in the chambers and were free from other service; for they were employed in their work day and night.
34 ൩൪ ഈ പ്രധാനികൾ ലേവ്യരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്കു തലമുറതലമുറയായി തലവന്മാരായിരുന്നു; അവർ യെരൂശലേമിൽ താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു.
These were heads of ancestral houses of the Levites, throughout their generations, chief men: these lived at Jerusalem.
In Gibeon there lived the father of Gibeon, Jeiel, whose wife's name was Maacah:
and his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
Mikloth became the father of Shimeah. They also lived with their brothers in Jerusalem, over against their brothers.
39 ൩൯ നേർ കീശിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; കീശ് ശൌലിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ശൌല്‍ യോനാഥാനെയും മല്‍ക്കീശൂവയെയും അബീനാദാബിനെയും എശ്-ബാലിനെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
Ner became the father of Kish; and Kish became the father of Saul; and Saul became the father of Jonathan, and Malkishua, and Abinadab, and Ishbaal.
The son of Jonathan was Mippibaal; and Mippibaal became the father of Micah.
The sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea, and Ahaz.
42 ൪൨ ആഹാസ് യാരയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; യാരാ അലേമെത്തിനെയും അസ്മാവെത്തിനെയും സിമ്രിയെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; സിമ്രി മോസയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;
And Ahaz became the father of Jadah; and Jadah became the father of Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri became the father of Moza;
and Moza became the father of Binea; and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
44 ൪൪ ആസേലിന് ആറ് മക്കൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ പേരുകൾ: അസ്രീക്കാം, ബെക്രൂ, യിശ്മായേൽ, ശെയര്യാവു, ഓബദ്യാവു, ഹാനാൻ; ഇവർ ആസേലിന്റെ മക്കൾ.
Azel had six sons, whose names are these: Azrikam, his firstborn, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Azariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these were the sons of Azel.
