യിരെമ്യാവു 30

1 യഹോവയിങ്കൽനിന്നു യിരെമ്യാവിന്നുണ്ടായ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്തെന്നാൽ:

The word that came to Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying,

2 യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന സകലവചനങ്ങളെയും ഒരു പുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിവെക്കുക.

Thus speaks Jehovah, the God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken to thee in a book.

3 ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേലും യെഹൂദയുമായ എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ പ്രവാസം മാറ്റുവാനുള്ള കാലം വരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു: ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാൎക്കു കൊടുത്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു അവരെ മടക്കിവരുത്തും; അവർ അതിനെ കൈവശമാക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

For, lo, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will turn again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, says Jehovah, and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

4 യഹോവ യിസ്രായേലിനെയും യെഹൂദയെയും കുറിച്ചു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത വചനങ്ങളാവിതു:

And these are the words that Jehovah spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah.

5 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നാം നടുക്കത്തിന്റെ മുഴക്കം കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; സമാധാനമല്ല, ഭയമത്രെ ഉള്ളതു.

For thus says Jehovah: We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.

6 പുരുഷൻ പ്രസവിക്കുമാറുണ്ടോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചുനോക്കുവിൻ! ഏതു പുരുഷനും നോവുകിട്ടിയ സ്ത്രീയെപ്പോലെ കൈ നടുവിന്നു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നതും ഏതു മുഖവും വിളറിയിരിക്കുന്നതും ഞാൻ കാണുന്നതു എന്തു?

Ask ye now, and see whether a man travails with child. Why do I see every man with his hands on his loins as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?

7 ആ നാൾപോലെ വേറെ ഇല്ലാതവണ്ണം അതു വലുതായിരിക്കുന്നു കഷ്ടം! അതു യാക്കോബിന്നു കഷ്ടകാലം തന്നേ; എങ്കിലും അവൻ അതിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും.

Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like it. It is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.

8 അന്നു ഞാൻ അവന്റെ നുകം നിന്റെ കഴുത്തിൽനിന്നു ഒടിച്ചു ബന്ധനങ്ങളെ അറുത്തുകളയും; അന്യന്മാർ ഇനി അവനെക്കൊണ്ടു സേവ ചെയ്യിക്കയുമില്ല എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

And it shall come to pass in that day, says Jehovah of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds. And strangers shall no more make him their bondman,

9 അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെയും ഞാൻ അവൎക്കു എഴുന്നേല്പിപ്പാനുള്ള രാജാവായ ദാവീദിനെയും സേവിക്കും.

but they shall serve Jehovah their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up to them.

10 ആകയാൽ എന്റെ ദാസനായ യാക്കോബേ, നീ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; യിസ്രായേലേ, നീ ഭ്രമിക്കേണ്ടാ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ദൂരത്തുനിന്നും നിന്റെ സന്തതിയെ പ്രവാസദേശത്തുനിന്നും രക്ഷിക്കും; യാക്കോബ് മടങ്ങിവന്നു സ്വസ്ഥതമായും സ്വൈരമായും ഇരിക്കും; ആരും അവനെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുകയില്ല.

Therefore fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, says Jehovah, nor be dismayed, O Israel. For, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity, and Jacob shall return, and shall be quiet and at ease, and none shall make him afraid.

11 നിന്നെ രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ നിന്നോടുകൂടെയുണ്ടു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; നിന്നെ ഞാൻ ചിതറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞ സകലജാതികളെയും ഞാൻ മുടിച്ചുകളയും; എങ്കിലും, നിന്നെ ഞാൻ മുടിച്ചു കളകയില്ല; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ന്യായത്തോടെ ശിക്ഷിക്കും; ശിക്ഷിക്കാതെ വിടുകയില്ലതാനും.

For I am with thee, says Jehovah, to save thee. For I will make a full end of all the nations where I have scattered thee, but I will not make a full end of thee. But I will correct thee in measure, and will in no way leave thee unpunished.

12 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിന്റെ പരുക്കു മാറാത്തതും നിന്റെ മുറിവു വിഷമമുള്ളതുമാകുന്നു.

For thus says Jehovah, Thy hurt is incurable, and thy wound grievous.

13 നിന്റെ വ്യവഹാരം നടത്തുവാൻ ആരുമില്ല; നിന്റെ മുറിവിന്നു ഇടുവാൻ മരുന്നും കുഴമ്പും ഇല്ല.

There is none to plead thy cause, that thou may be bound up; thou have no healing medicines.

14 നിന്റെ സ്നേഹിതന്മാർ ഒക്കെയും നിന്നെ മറന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തിന്റെ ആധിക്യംനിമിത്തവും നിന്റെ പാപത്തിന്റെ പെരുപ്പംനിമിത്തവും ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ശത്രു അടിക്കുന്നതുപോലെയും ക്രൂരൻ ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നതുപോലെയും അടിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു അവർ നിന്നെ നോക്കുന്നില്ല.

All who love thee have forgotten thee; they seek thee not. For I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the greatness of thine iniquity, because thy sins were increased.

15 നിന്റെ പരുക്കിനെയും മാറാത്ത വേദനയെയും കുറിച്ചു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു? നിന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തിന്റെ ആധിക്യംനിമിത്തവും നിന്റെ പാപത്തിന്റെ പെരുപ്പംനിമിത്തവും അല്ലോ ഞാൻ ഇതു നിന്നോടു ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു.

Why do thou cry for thy hurt? Thy pain is incurable, for the greatness of thine iniquity. Because thy sins were increased, I have done these things to thee.

16 അതുകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ തിന്നുകളയുന്നവരെല്ലാവരും തിന്നുകളയപ്പെടും; നിന്റെ സകല വൈരികളും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോകും; നിന്നെ കൊള്ളയിടുന്നവർ കൊള്ളയായ്തീരും നിന്നെ കവൎച്ച ചെയ്യുന്നവരെയൊക്കെയും ഞാൻ കവൎച്ചെക്കു ഏല്പിക്കും.

Therefore all those who devour thee shall be devoured, and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity. And those who despoil thee shall be a spoil, and all who prey upon thee I will give for a prey.

17 അവർ നിന്നെ ഭ്രഷ്ടയെന്നും ആരും തിരിഞ്ഞു നോക്കാത്ത സീയോനെന്നും വിളിക്കകൊണ്ടു, ഞാൻ നിന്റെ മുറിവുകളെ പൊറുപ്പിച്ചു നിനക്കു ആരോഗ്യം വരുത്തും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

For I will restore health to thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, says Jehovah, because they have called thee an outcast, saying, It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.

18 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ യാക്കോബിൻകൂടാരങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവാസം മാറ്റി അവന്റെ നിവാസങ്ങളോടു കരുണ കാണിക്കും; നഗരം അതിന്റെ കൽക്കുന്നിന്മേൽ പണിയപ്പെടും; അരമനയും യഥാസ്ഥാനപ്പെടും.

Thus says Jehovah: Behold, I will turn again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have compassion on his dwelling-places. And the city shall be built upon its own hill, and the palace shall be inhabited after its own manner.

19 അവയിൽനിന്നു സ്തോത്രവും സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഘോഷവും പുറപ്പെടും; ഞാൻ അവരെ വൎദ്ധിപ്പിക്കും; അവർ കുറഞ്ഞുപോകയില്ല; ഞാൻ അവരെ മഹത്വീകരിക്കും; അവർ എളിമപ്പെടുകയുമില്ല.

And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry. And I will multiply them, and they shall not be few. I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.

20 അവരുടെ മക്കളും പണ്ടത്തെപ്പോലെയാകും; അവരുടെ സഭ എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിലനില്ക്കും; അവരെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരെയും ഞാൻ സന്ദൎശിക്കും.

Their sons also shall be as formerly, and their congregation shall be established before me. And I will punish all who oppress them.

21 അവരുടെ പ്രഭു അവരിൽനിന്നു തന്നേ ഉണ്ടാകും; അവരുടെ അധിപതി അവരുടെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു ഉത്ഭവിക്കും; ഞാൻ അവനെ അടുപ്പിക്കും; അവൻ എന്നോടു അടുക്കും; അല്ലാതെ എന്നോടു അടുപ്പാൻ ധൈൎയ്യപ്പെടുന്നവൻ ആർ? എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

And their prince shall be of themselves, and their ruler shall proceed from the midst of them. And I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach to me. For who is he who has had boldness to approach to me? says Jehovah.

22 അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്കു ജനമായും ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ദൈവമായും ഇരിക്കും.

And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

23 യഹോവയുടെ ക്രോധം എന്ന ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റു, കടുപ്പമായി അടിക്കുന്ന ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റു തന്നേ, പുറപ്പെടുന്നു; അതു ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ തലമേൽ ചുഴന്നടിക്കും.

Behold, the tempest of Jehovah-wrath-has gone forth, a sweeping tempest. It shall burst upon the head of the wicked.

24 യഹോവയുടെ ഉഗ്രകോപം അവന്റെ മനസ്സിലെ നിൎണ്ണയങ്ങളെ നടത്തി നിവൎത്തിക്കുവോളം മടങ്ങുകയില്ല; ഭാവികാലത്തു നിങ്ങൾ അതു ഗ്രഹിക്കും.

The fierce anger of Jehovah shall not return until he has executed, and till he has performed the intents of his heart. In the latter days ye shall understand it.
