ആവർത്തനപുസ്തകം 33
1 ദൈവപുരുഷനായ മോശെ തന്റെ മരണത്തിന്നു മുമ്പെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ച അനുഗ്രഹം ആവിതു:
And this [is] the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.
2 അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ: യഹോവ സീനായിൽനിന്നു വന്നു, അവൎക്കു സേയീരിൽനിന്നു ഉദിച്ചു, പാറാൻ പൎവ്വതത്തിൽനിന്നു വിളങ്ങി; ലക്ഷോപിലക്ഷം വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ നിന്നു വന്നു; അവൎക്കുവേണ്ടി അഗ്നിമയമായോരു പ്രമാണം അവന്റെ വലങ്കയ്യിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
And he said, The Lord is come from Sina, and has appeared from Seir to us, and has hasted out of the mount of Pharan, with the ten thousands of Cades; on his right hand [were] his angels with him.
3 അതേ, അവൻ ജനത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ സകലവിശുദ്ധന്മാരും തൃക്കയ്യിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു. അവർ തൃക്കാൽക്കൽ ഇരുന്നു; അവൻ തിരുവചനങ്ങൾ പ്രാപിച്ചു.
And he spared his people, and all his sanctified ones [are] under thy hands; and they are under thee; and he received of his words
4 യാക്കോബിന്റെ സഭെക്കു അവകാശമായി മോശെ നമുക്കു ന്യായപ്രമാണം കല്പിച്ചു തന്നു.
the law which Moses charged us, an inheritance to the assemblies of Jacob.
5 ജനത്തിന്റെ തലവന്മാരും യിസ്രായേൽഗോത്രങ്ങളും കൂടിയപ്പോൾ അവൻ യെശൂരുന്നു രാജാവായിരുന്നു.
And he shall be prince with the beloved one, when the princes of the people are gathered together with the tribes of Israel.
6 രൂബേൻ മരിക്കാതെ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കട്ടെ; അവന്റെ പുരുഷന്മാർ കുറയാതിരിക്കട്ടെ
Let Ruben live, and not die; and let him be many in number.
7 യെഹൂദെക്കുള്ള അനുഗ്രഹമായിട്ടു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: യഹോവേ, യെഹൂദയുടെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടു അവനെ സ്വജനത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരേണമേ. തന്റെ കൈകളാൽ അവൻ തനിക്കായി പോരുന്നു; ശത്രുക്കളുടെ നേരെ നീ അവന്നു തുണയായിരിക്കേണമേ.
And this [is the blessing] of Juda; Hear, Lord, the voice of Juda, and do thou visit his people: his hands shall contend for him, and thou shalt be a help from his enemies.
8 ലേവിയെക്കുറിച്ചു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: നിന്റെ തുമ്മീമും ഊറീമും നിൻഭക്തന്റെ പക്കൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; നീ മസ്സയിൽവെച്ചു പരീക്ഷിക്കയും കലഹജലത്തിങ്കൽ നീ പൊരുകയും ചെയ്തവന്റെ പക്കൽ തന്നേ.
And to Levi he said, Give to Levi his manifestations, and his truth to the holy man, whom they tempted in the temptation; they reviled him at the water of strife.
9 അവൻ അപ്പനെയും അമ്മയെയും കുറിച്ചു: ഞാൻ അവരെ കണ്ടില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; സഹോദരന്മാരെ അവൻ ആദരിച്ചില്ല; സ്വന്തമക്കളെന്നോൎത്തതുമില്ല. നിന്റെ വചനം അവർ പ്രമാണിച്ചു, നിന്റെ നിയമം കാത്തുകൊൾകയും ചെയ്തു.
Who says to his father and mother, I have not seen thee; and he knew not his brethren, and he refused to know his sons: he kept thine oracles, and observed thy covenant.
10 അവർ യാക്കോബിന്നു നിന്റെ വിധികളും യിസ്രായേലിന്നു ന്യായപ്രമാണവും ഉപദേശിക്കും; അവർ നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ സുഗന്ധ ധൂപവും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ സൎവ്വാംഗഹോമവും അൎപ്പിക്കും.
They shall declare thine ordinances to Jacob, and thy law to Israel: they shall place incense in [the time of] thy wrath continually upon thine altar.
11 യഹോവ, അവന്റെ ധനത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കേണമേ; അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയിൽ പ്രസാദിക്കേണമേ. അവന്റെ എതിരികളും അവനെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരും എഴുന്നേൽക്കാതവണ്ണം അവരുടെ അരകളെ തകൎത്തുകളയേണമേ.
Bless, Lord, his strength, and accept the works of his hands; break the loins of his enemies that have risen up against him, and let not them that hate him rise up.
12 ബെന്യാമിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: അവൻ യഹോവെക്കു പ്രിയൻ; തത്സന്നിധിയിൽ നിൎഭയം വസിക്കും; താൻ അവനെ എല്ലായ്പോഴും മറെച്ചുകൊള്ളുന്നു; അവന്റെ ഗിരികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ അധിവസിക്കുന്നു.
And to Benjamin he said, The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in confidence, and God overshadows him always, and he rested between his shoulders.
13 യോസേഫിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: ആകാശത്തിലെ വിശിഷ്ടവസ്തുവായ മഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടും താഴെ കിടക്കുന്ന അഗാധജലംകൊണ്ടും
And to Joseph he said, His land [is] of the blessing of the Lord, of the seasons of sky and dew, and of the deeps of wells below,
14 സൂൎയ്യനാൽ ഉളവാകുന്ന വിശേഷഫലം കൊണ്ടും പ്രതിമാസികചന്ദ്രനാൽ ഉളവാകും വിശിഷ്ടഫലംകൊണ്ടും
and of the fruits of the changes of the sun in season, and of the produce of the months,
15 പുരാതനപൎവ്വതങ്ങളുടെ ശ്രേഷ്ഠസാധനങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടും ശാശ്വതശൈലങ്ങളുടെ വിശിഷ്ടവസ്തുക്കൾ കൊണ്ടും ഭൂമിയിലെ വിശേഷവസ്തുക്കളും സമൃദ്ധിയുംകൊണ്ടും അവന്റെ ദേശം യഹോവയാൽ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ.
from the top of the ancient mountains, and from the top of the everlasting hills,
16 മുൾപ്പടൎപ്പിൽ വസിച്ചവന്റെ പ്രസാദം യോസേഫിന്റെ ശിരസ്സിന്മേലും തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരിൽ പ്രഭുവായവന്റെ നെറുകമേലും വരുമാറാകട്ടെ.
and of the fullness of the land in season: and let the things pleasing to him that dwelt in the bush come on the head of Joseph, and on the crown [of him who was] glorified above his brethren.
17 അവന്റെ കടിഞ്ഞൂൽകൂറ്റൻ അവന്റെ പ്രതാപം; അവന്റെ കൊമ്പുകൾ കാട്ടുപോത്തിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകൾ; അവയാൽ അവൻ സകലജാതികളെയും ഭൂസീമാവാസികളെയും വെട്ടി ഓടിക്കും; അവ എഫ്രയീമിന്റെ പതിനായിരങ്ങളും മനശ്ശെയുടെ ആയിരങ്ങളും തന്നേ.
His beauty [is as] the firstling of his bull, his horns [are] the horns of a unicorn; with them he shall thrust the nations at once, even from the end of the earth: these [are] the ten thousands of Ephraim, and these [are] the thousands of Manasse.
18 സെബൂലൂനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: സെബൂലൂനേ, നിന്റെ പ്രയാണത്തിലും, യിസ്സാഖാരേ, നിന്റെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിലും സന്തോഷിക്ക.
And to Zabulon he said, Rejoice, Zabulon, in thy going out, and Issachar in his tents.
19 അവർ ജാതികളെ പൎവ്വതത്തിലേക്കു വിളിക്കും; അവിടെ നീതിയാഗങ്ങളെ കഴിക്കും. അവർ സമുദ്രങ്ങളുടെ സമൃദ്ധിയും മണലിലെ നിക്ഷേപങ്ങളും വലിച്ചു കുടിക്കും.
They shall utterly destroy the nations, and ye shall call [men] there, and there offer the sacrifice of righteousness; for the wealth of the sea shall suckle thee, and so shall the marts of them that dwell by the sea-coast.
20 ഗാദിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: ഗാദിനെ വിസ്താരമാക്കുന്നവൻ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ഒരു സിംഹിപോലെ അവൻ പതുങ്ങിക്കിടന്നു ഭുജവും നെറുകയും പറിച്ചുകീറുന്നു.
And to Gad he said, Blessed [be] he that enlarges Gad: as a lion he rested, having broken the arm and the ruler.
21 അവൻ ആദ്യഭാഗം തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു; അവിടെ നായകന്റെ ഓഹരി സംഗ്രഹിച്ചു വെച്ചിരുന്നു; അവൻ ജനത്തിന്റെ തലവന്മാരോടുകൂടെ യഹോവയുടെ നീതിയും യിസ്രായേലുമായി അവന്റെ വിധികളും നടത്തി.
And he saw his first-fruits, that there the land of the princes gathered with the chiefs of the people was divided; the Lord wrought righteousness, and his judgment with Israel.
22 ദാനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: ദാൻ ബാലസിംഹം ആകുന്നു; അവൻ ബാശാനിൽനിന്നു ചാടുന്നു.
And to Dan he said, Dan [is] a lion's whelp, and shall leap out of Basan.
23 നഫ്താലിയെക്കുറിച്ചു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: നഫ്താലിയേ, പ്രസാദംകൊണ്ടു തൃപ്തനും യഹോവയുടെ അനുഗ്രഹം നിറഞ്ഞവനുമായി പടിഞ്ഞാറും തെക്കും കൈവശമാക്കുക.
And to Nephthali he said, Nephthali [has] the fulness of good things; and let him be filled with blessing from the Lord: he shall inherit the west and the south.
24 ആശേരിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: ആശേർ പുത്രസമ്പത്തുകൊണ്ടു അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ; അവൻ സഹോദരന്മാൎക്കു ഇഷ്ടനായിരിക്കട്ടെ; അവൻ കാൽ എണ്ണയിൽ മുക്കട്ടെ.
And to Aser he said, Aser [is] blessed with children; and he shall be acceptable to his brethren: he shall dip his foot in oil.
25 നിന്റെ ഓടാമ്പൽ ഇരിമ്പും താമ്രവും ആയിരിക്കട്ടെ. നിന്റെ ബലം ജീവപൎയ്യന്തം നിൽക്കട്ടെ.
His sandal shall be iron and brass; as thy days, so [shall be] thy strength.
26 യെശൂരൂന്റെ ദൈവത്തെപ്പോലെ ഒരുത്തനുമില്ല; നിന്റെ സഹായത്തിന്നായി അവൻ ആകാശത്തൂടെ തന്റെ മഹിമയിൽ മേഘാരൂഢനായി വരുന്നു.
There is not [any such] as the God of the beloved; he who rides upon the heaven [is] thy helper, and the magnificent One of the firmament.
27 പുരാതനനായ ദൈവം നിന്റെ സങ്കേതം; കീഴെ ശാശ്വതഭുജങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടു; അവൻ ശത്രുവിനെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു. സംഹരിക്ക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
And the rule of God shall protect thee, and [that] under the strength of the everlasting arms; and he shall cast forth the enemy from before thy face, saying, Perish.
28 ധാന്യവും വീഞ്ഞുമുള്ള ദേശത്തു യിസ്രായേൽ നിൎഭയമായും യാക്കോബിൻ ഉറവു തനിച്ചും വസിക്കുന്നു; ആകാശം അവന്നു മഞ്ഞു പൊഴിക്കുന്നു.
And Israel shall dwell in confidence alone on the land of Jacob, with corn and wine; and the sky [shall be] misty with dew upon thee.
29 യിസ്രായേലേ, നീ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ; നിനക്കു തുല്യൻ ആർ? യഹോവയാൽ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ട ജനമേ, അവൻ നിന്റെ സഹായത്തിൻ പരിചയും നിന്റെ മഹിമയുടെ വാളും ആകുന്നു. നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ നിന്നോടു അനുസരണം നടിക്കും. നീ അവരുടെ ഉന്നതങ്ങളിന്മേൽ നടകൊള്ളും.
Blessed [art] thou, O Israel; who [is] like to thee, O people saved by the Lord? thy helper shall hold his shield over thee, and [his] sword [is] thy boast; and thine enemies shall speak falsely to thee, and thou shalt tread upon their neck.
