Kenan, Mahalalel, Jared;
3 ഹനോക്ക്, മെഥൂശേലഹ്, ലാമെക്ക്, നോഹ,
Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech;
4 ശേം, ഹാം, യാഫെത്ത്. യാഫെത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ:
Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
5 ഗോമെർ, മാഗോഗ്, മാദായി, യാവാൻ, തൂബാൽ
The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6 മേശെക്ക്, തീരാസ്. ഗോമെരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അശ്കേനസ്, രീഫത്ത്, തോഗൎമ്മാ.
And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.
7 യാവാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: എലീശാ, തൎശീശ്, കിത്ഥിം, ദോദാനീം.
And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim.
8 ഹാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: കൂശ്, മിസ്രയീം, പൂത്ത്, കനാൻ.
The sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 കൂശിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സെബാ, ഹവീലാ, സബ്താ, രമാ, സബെത്ഖാ. രമയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ശെബാ, ദെദാൻ.
And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabteca. And the sons of Raama: Sheba, and Dedan.
10 കൂശ് നിമ്രോദിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു. അവൻ ഭൂമിയിൽ ആദ്യത്തെ വീരനായിരുന്നു.
And Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
11 മിസ്രയീമോ: ലൂദീം, അനാമീം, ലെഹാബീം,
And Mizraim begot Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12 നഫ്തൂഹീം, പത്രൂസീം, കസ്ലൂഹീം, --ഇവരിൽനിന്നു ഫെലിസ്ത്യർ ഉത്ഭവിച്ചു--കഫ്തോരീം എന്നിവരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
and Pathrusim, and Casluhim — from whence came the Philistines — and Caphtorim.
13 കനാൻ തന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനായ സീദോൻ,
And Canaan begot Zidon his first-born, and Heth;
14 ഹേത്ത്, യെബൂസി, അമോരി,
and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite;
15 ഗിൎഗ്ഗശി, ഹിവ്വി, അൎക്കി, സീനി, അൎവ്വാദി,
and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite;
16 സെമാരി, ഹമാത്തി എന്നിവരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 ശേമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഏലാം, അശ്ശൂർ, അൎപ്പക്ഷദ്, ലൂദ്, അരാം, ഊസ്, ഹൂൾ, ഗേഥെർ, മേശെക്.
The Sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18 അൎപ്പക്ഷദ് ശേലഹിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ശേലഹ് ഏബെരിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
And Arpachshad begot Shelah, and Shelah begot Eber.
19 ഏബെരിന്നു രണ്ടു പുത്രന്മാർ ജനിച്ചു; ഒരുത്തന്നു പേലെഗ് എന്നു പേർ; അവന്റെ കാലത്തായിരുന്നു ഭൂവാസികൾ പിരിഞ്ഞുപോയതു; അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്നു യൊക്താൻ എന്നു പേർ.
And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
20 യൊക്താനോ: അല്മോദാദ്, ശേലെഫ്, ഹസൎമ്മാവെത്ത്,
And Joktan begot Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah;
21 യാരഹ്, ഹദോരാം, ഊസാൽ, ദിക്ലാ,
and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah;
22 എബാൽ, അബീമായേൽ, ശെബാ,
and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba;
23 ഓഫീർ, ഹവീലാ, യോബാബ് എന്നിവരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ഇവരെല്ലാവരും യൊക്താന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ.
and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
24 ശേം, അൎപ്പക്ഷദ്, ശേലഹ്, ഏബെർ,
Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah;
25 പേലെഗ്, രെയൂ, ശെരൂഗ്,
Eber, Peleg, Reu;
26 നാഹോർ, തേരഹ്, അബ്രാം;
Serug, Nahor, Terah;
27 ഇവൻ തന്നേ അബ്രാഹാം.
Abram — the same is Abraham.
28 അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: യിസ്ഹാക്ക്, യിശ്മായേൽ.
The sons of Abraham: Isaac, and Ishmael.
29 അവരുടെ വംശപാരമ്പൎയ്യമാവിതു: യിശ്മായേലിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതൻ നെബായോത്ത്,
These are their generations: the first-born of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
30 കേദാർ, അദ്ബെയേൽ, മിബ്ശാം, മിശ്മാ, ദൂമാ,
Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
31 മസ്സാ, ഹദദ്, തേമാ, യെതൂർ, നാഫീഷ്, കേദമാ; ഇവർ യിശ്മായേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ.
Jetur, Naphish, and Kedem. These are the sons of Ishmael.
32 അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ വെപ്പാട്ടിയായ കെതൂരയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സിമ്രാൻ, യൊക്ശാൻ, മേദാൻ, മിദ്യാൻ, യിശ്ബാക്, ശൂവഹ് എന്നിവരെ അവൾ പ്രസവിച്ചു. യോക്ശാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ശെബാ, ദെദാൻ.
And the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba, and Dedan.
33 മിദ്യാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഏഫാ, ഏഫെർ, ഹനോക്ക്, അബീദാ, എൽദായാ; ഇവരെല്ലാവരും കെതൂരയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ.
And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.
34 അബ്രാഹാം യിസ്ഹാക്കിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു. യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ ഏശാവ്, യിസ്രായേൽ.
And Abraham begot Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau, and Israel.
35 ഏശാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: എലീഫാസ്, രെയൂവേൽ, യെയൂശ്, യലാം, കോരഹ്.
The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam and Korah.
36 എലീഫാസിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: തേമാൻ, ഓമാർ, സെഫീ, ഗഥാം, കെനസ്, തിമ്നാ, അമാലേക്.
The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 രെയൂവേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: നഹത്ത്, സേറഹ്, ശമ്മാ, മിസ്സാ.
The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38 സേയീരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ലോതാൻ, ശോബാൽ, സിബെയോൻ, അനാ, ദീശോൻ, ഏസെർ, ദീശാൻ.
And the sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 ലോതാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഹോരി, ഹോമാം; തിമ്നാ ലോതാന്റെ സഹോദരി ആയിരുന്നു.
And the sons of Lotan: Hori, and Homam; and Timna was Lotan's sister.
40 ശോബാലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അലീയാൻ, മാനഹത്ത്, ഏബാൽ, ശെഫി, ഓനാം. സിബേയോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അയ്യാ, അനാ.
The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon: Aiah, and Anah.
41 അനയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ദീശോൻ. ദീശോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഹമ്രാൻ, എശ്ബാൽ, യിത്രാൻ, കെരാൻ.
The sons of Anah: Dishon. And the sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 ഏസെരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ബിൽഹാൻ, സാവാൻ, യാക്കാൻ. ദീശാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഊസ്, അരാൻ.
The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz, and Aran.
43 യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ രാജാവു വാഴുംമുമ്പെ ഏദോംദേശത്തു വാണ രാജാക്കന്മാർ ആരെന്നാൽ: ബെയോരിന്റെ മകനായ ബേല; അവന്റെ പട്ടണത്തിന്നു ദിൻഹാബാ എന്നു പേർ.
Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before their reigned any king over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44 ബേല മരിച്ചശേഷം ബൊസ്രക്കാരനായ സേരഹിന്റെ മകൻ യോബാബ് അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി.
And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
45 യോബാബ് മരിച്ചശേഷം തേമാദേശക്കാരനായ ഹൂശാം അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി.
And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46 ഹൂശാം മരിച്ചശേഷം ബദദിന്റെ മകൻ ഹദദ് അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി; അവൻ മോവാബ് സമഭൂമിയിൽ മിദ്യാനെ തോല്പിച്ചു; അവന്റെ പട്ടണത്തിന്നു അവീത്ത് എന്നു പേർ.
And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Avith.
47 ഹദദ് മരിച്ചശേഷം മസ്രേക്കക്കാരനായ സമ്ലാ അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി.
And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
48 സമ്ലാ മരിച്ചശേഷം നദീതീരത്തുള്ള രെഹോബോത്ത് പട്ടണക്കാരനായ ശൌൽ അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി.
And Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his stead.
49 ശൌൽ മരിച്ചശേഷം അക്ബോരിന്റെ മകൻ ബാൽഹാനാൻ അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി.
And Shaul died, and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50 ബാൽഹാനാൻ മരിച്ചശേഷം ഹദദ് അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി. അവന്റെ പട്ടണത്തിന്നു പായീ എന്നും ഭാൎയ്യക്കു മെഹേതബേൽ എന്നും പേർ. അവൾ മേസാഹാബിന്റെ മകളായ മത്രേദിന്റെ മകളായിരുന്നു.
And Baal-hanan died, and Hadad reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
51 ഹദദും മരിച്ചു. ഏദോമ്യ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരാവിതു: തിമ്നാപ്രഭു, അല്യാപ്രഭു, യെഥേത്ത്പ്രഭു,
And Hadad died. And the chiefs of Edom were: the chief of Timna, the chief of Alvah, the chief of Jetheth;
52 ഒഹൊലീബാമാപ്രഭു, ഏലാപ്രഭു,
the chief of Oholibamah, the chief of Elah, the chief of Pinon;
53 പീനോൻപ്രഭു, കെനസ്പ്രഭു, തേമാൻപ്രഭു,
the chief of Kenaz, the chief of Teman, the chief of Mibzar;
54 മിബ്സാൎപ്രഭു, മഗ്ദീയേൽപ്രഭു, ഈരാംപ്രഭു; ഇവരത്രേ ഏദോമ്യപ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ.
the chief of Magdiel, the chief of Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom.
