യെശയ്യാവ് 32

1 ഇതാ, ഒരു രാജാവ് നീതിപൂർവം ഭരിക്കും, ഭരണാധിപന്മാർ ന്യായത്തോടെ അധികാരം നടപ്പിലാക്കും.

Look, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in justice.

2 ഓരോരുത്തനും കാറ്റിൽനിന്നുള്ള ഒരഭയസ്ഥാനവും കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിൽനിന്നുള്ള രക്ഷാസങ്കേതവും ആയിത്തീരും, അവർ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ നീർത്തോടുകൾപോലെയും വരണ്ടുണങ്ങിയ ദേശത്ത് വൻപാറയുടെ നിഴൽപോലെയും ആയിരിക്കും.

A man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a shelter from the storm, as streams of water in a dry place, as the shade of a large rock in a weary land.

3 കാണുന്നവരുടെ കണ്ണുകൾ അന്ന് അന്ധമാകുകയില്ല; ചെവിയുള്ളവർക്കെല്ലാം അതു കേൾക്കാൻ കഴിയും.

The eyes of those who see will not be dim, and the ears of those who hear will listen.

4 തിടുക്കമുള്ള ഹൃദയം പരിജ്ഞാനം ഗ്രഹിക്കും; വിക്കുള്ള നാവ് തെളിവായി സംസാരിക്കും.

The heart of the rash will understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers will be ready to speak plainly.

5 ഭോഷരെ ഇനിയൊരിക്കലും ശ്രേഷ്ഠരെന്നു വിളിക്കുകയോ ആഭാസരെ മാന്യരെന്നവണ്ണം ആദരിക്കുകയോ ഇല്ല.

And they will no longer call a fool noble, nor the scoundrel be highly respected.

6 ഭോഷർ ഭോഷത്തം സംസാരിക്കും, അവരുടെ ഹൃദയം ദുഷ്ടത ആസൂത്രണംചെയ്യുന്നു: അവർ ഭക്തർക്കു ചേരാത്ത പ്രവൃത്തികൾചെയ്യുന്നു; യഹോവയെ ദുഷിച്ചു സംസാരിക്കുകയും വിശപ്പുള്ളവരെ പട്ടിണിയിടുകയും ദാഹമുള്ളവർക്കു പാനീയം നിഷേധിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

For the fool will speak folly, and his heart plans iniquity, to practice profanity, and to utter error against Jehovah, To make empty the soul of the hungry, and to cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.

7 ആഭാസരുടെ ആയുധങ്ങൾ ദുഷ്ടതനിറഞ്ഞതാണ്; ദരിദ്രരുടെ അപേക്ഷ ന്യായമായത് ആണെങ്കിൽത്തന്നെയും പീഡിതരെ വഞ്ചനയിലൂടെ നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിന് അവർ ദുരുപായങ്ങൾ ആലോചിക്കുന്നു.

The ways of the scoundrel are evil. He devises wicked devices to destroy the humble with lying words, even when the needy speaks right.

8 എന്നാൽ കുലീനൻ ഉത്തമകാര്യങ്ങൾ ആസൂത്രണം ചെയ്യുകയും വിശിഷ്ടമായ പ്രവൃത്തികളിൽ ഉറച്ചുനിൽക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

But the noble devises noble things; and he will continue in noble things.

9 അലംഭാവമുള്ള സ്ത്രീകളേ, എഴുന്നേറ്റ് എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുക; സുരക്ഷിതർ എന്നു കരുതുന്ന പുത്രിമാരേ, എന്റെ വചനം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക.

Rise up, you women who are at ease. Hear my voice. You careless daughters, give ear to my speech.

10 ഒരു വർഷവും ഏതാനും ദിവസവും കഴിയുമ്പോഴേക്കും സുരക്ഷിതർ എന്നു കരുതുന്ന നിങ്ങൾ ഭയന്നുവിറയ്ക്കും. മുന്തിരിയുടെ വിളവു മുടങ്ങും, ഫലശേഖരണം ഉണ്ടാകുകയുമില്ല.

For days beyond a year you will be troubled, you careless women; for the vintage shall fail. The harvest won't come.

11 അലംഭാവമുള്ള സ്ത്രീകളേ, ഞെട്ടിവിറയ്ക്കുക; സുരക്ഷിതരെന്നു കരുതുന്ന പുത്രിമാരേ, നടുങ്ങുക! മൃദുലവസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ ഉരിഞ്ഞെറിയുക, പരുപരുത്തവസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ ഉടുക്കുക.

Tremble, you women who are at ease. Be troubled, you careless ones. Strip yourselves, make yourselves naked, and put sackcloth on your waist.

12 സന്തുഷ്ടമായ വയലുകളും ഫലപുഷ്ടിയുള്ള മുന്തിരിവള്ളികളും ഓർത്ത് മാറത്തടിച്ചു വിലപിക്കുക.

Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.

13 മുള്ളും പറക്കാരയും അമിതമായി വളർന്നുനിൽക്കുന്ന എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ വയലിനെച്ചൊല്ലി, അതേ, ഉല്ലാസഭവനങ്ങളെ ഓർത്തു വിലപിക്കുക, അഴിഞ്ഞാടുന്ന നഗരങ്ങളെച്ചൊല്ലിത്തന്നെ.

Thorns and briars will come up on my people's land; yes, on all the houses of joy in the joyous city.

14 കെട്ടിയുറപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ട കോട്ടകൾ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും, ജനനിബിഡമായ നഗരം വിജനമാക്കപ്പെടും; രാജധാനിയും കാവൽഗോപുരവും എന്നേക്കുമായി തരിശുനിലമായി മാറും, കാട്ടുകഴുതകളുടെ വിലാസരംഗവും ആടുകളുടെ മേച്ചിൽസ്ഥലവുമായി മാറും.

For the palace will be forsaken. The populous city will be deserted. The hill and the watchtower will be for dens forever, a delight for wild donkeys, a pasture of flocks;

15 ഉയരത്തിൽനിന്ന് നമ്മുടെമേൽ ആത്മാവിനെ പകരുകയും മരുഭൂമി ഫലപുഷ്ടിയുള്ള വയലായും വയൽ വനമായും മാറുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുവരെത്തന്നെ.

Until the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is considered a forest.

16 അപ്പോൾ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായം വസിക്കും, ഫലപുഷ്ടിയുള്ള ഉദ്യാനത്തിൽ നീതി കുടിപാർക്കും.

Then justice will dwell in the wilderness; and righteousness will remain in the fruitful field.

17 നീതിയുടെ ഫലം സമാധാനവും അതിന്റെ പരിണതഫലം ശാശ്വതമായ ശാന്തതയും സുരക്ഷിതത്വവും ആയിരിക്കും.

The work of righteousness will be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.

18 അന്ന് എന്റെ ജനം സമാധാനഭവനത്തിലും സുരക്ഷിതമായ വസതികളിലും പ്രശാന്തമായ വിശ്രമസങ്കേതങ്ങളിലും പാർക്കും.

My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting places.

19 കന്മഴ ചൊരിഞ്ഞ് വനം നശിക്കുകയും നഗരം നിശ്ശേഷം നിലംപരിചാകുകയും ചെയ്താലും,

And it will hail when the forest comes down, and the wood is brought low in humiliation.

20 എല്ലാ നീരുറവകൾക്കുമരികെ വിത്തുവിതയ്ക്കാൻ കഴിയുകയും കന്നുകാലികളെയും കഴുതകളെയും തൊഴുത്തിൽനിന്ന് അഴിച്ചുവിടാൻ കഴിയുകയുംചെയ്യുന്ന നിങ്ങൾ എത്ര അനുഗൃഹീതർ!

Blessed are you who sow beside all waters, who set free the foot of the ox and the donkey.
