1 ലേവിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഗെർശോൻ, കെഹാത്ത്, മെരാരി.
The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
2 കെഹാത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അമ്രാം, യിസ്ഹാർ, ഹെബ്രോൻ, ഉസ്സീയേൽ.
And the sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
3 അമ്രാമിന്റെ മക്കൾ: അഹരോൻ, മോശ, മിര്യാം. അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: നാദാബ്, അബീഹൂ, എലെയാസാർ, ഈഥാമാർ.
And the sons of Amram: Aaron and Moses and Miriam. And the sons of Aaron: Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
4 എലെയാസാർ ഫീനെഹാസിന്റെ പിതാവായിരുന്നു. ഫീനെഹാസ് അബീശൂവയുടെ പിതാവും.
Eleazar was the father of Phinehas; Phinehas was the father of Abishua;
5 അബീശൂവ ബുക്കിയുടെ പിതാവും ബുക്കി ഉസ്സിയുടെ പിതാവും
And Abishua was the father of Bukki, and Bukki was the father of Uzzi,
6 ഉസ്സി സെരഹ്യാവിന്റെ പിതാവും സെരഹ്യാവ് മെരായോത്തിന്റെ പിതാവും
And Uzzi was the father of Zerahiah, and Zerahiah was the father of Meraioth;
7 മെരായോത്ത് അമര്യാവിന്റെ പിതാവും അമര്യാവ് അഹീതൂബിന്റെ പിതാവും
Meraioth was the father of Amariah, and Amariah was the father of Ahitub,
8 അഹീതൂബ് സാദോക്കിന്റെ പിതാവും സാദോക്ക് അഹീമാസിന്റെ പിതാവും
And Ahitub was the father of Zadok, and Zadok was the father of Ahimaaz,
9 അഹീമാസ് അസര്യാവിന്റെ പിതാവും അസര്യാവ് യോഹാനാന്റെ പിതാവും
And Ahimaaz was the father of Azariah, and Azariah was the father of Johanan,
10 യോഹാനാൻ അസര്യാവിന്റെ പിതാവും ആയിരുന്നു. ശലോമോൻ പണികഴിപ്പിച്ച ജെറുശലേം ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ പുരോഹിതനായി സേവനം അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചത് ഈ അസര്യാവാണ്.
And Johanan was the father of Azariah, (he was priest in the house which Solomon put up in Jerusalem: )
11 അസര്യാവ് അമര്യാവിന്റെ പിതാവും അമര്യാവ് അഹീതൂബിന്റെ പിതാവും
And Azariah was the father of Amariah, and Amariah was the father of Ahitub,
12 അഹീതൂബ് സാദോക്കിന്റെ പിതാവും സാദോക്ക് ശല്ലൂമിന്റെ പിതാവും
And Ahitub was the father of Zadok, and Zadok was the father of Shallum,
13 ശല്ലൂം ഹിൽക്കിയാവിന്റെ പിതാവും ഹിൽക്കിയാവ് അസര്യാവിന്റെ പിതാവും
And Shallum was the father of Hilkiah, and Hilkiah was the father of Azariah,
14 അസര്യാവ് സെരായാവിന്റെ പിതാവും സെരായാവ് യെഹോസാദാക്കിന്റെ പിതാവും ആയിരുന്നു.
And Azariah was the father of Seraiah, and Seraiah was the father of Jehozadak;
15 യഹോവ നെബൂഖദ്നേസ്സർമൂലം യെഹൂദ്യയെയും ജെറുശലേമിനെയും പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു നയിച്ചപ്പോൾ യെഹോസാദാക്കും പ്രവാസിയായി അയയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
And Jehozadak went as a prisoner when the Lord took away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.
16 ലേവിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഗെർശോം, കെഹാത്ത്, മെരാരി.
The sons of Levi; Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.
17 ഗെർശോമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ പേരുകൾ ഇവയാണ്: ലിബ്നി, ശിമെയി.
And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.
18 കെഹാത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അമ്രാം, യിസ്ഹാർ, ഹെബ്രോൻ, ഉസ്സീയേൽ.
And the sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
19 മെരാരിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: മഹ്ലി, മൂശി. അവരുടെ പൂർവികർ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത് അനുസരിച്ചുള്ള ലേവ്യകുലങ്ങൾ ഇവയാണ്:
The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites listed by the names of their fathers.
20 ഗെർശോമിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികൾ: ഗെർശോമിന്റെ മകൻ ലിബ്നി, ലിബ്നിയുടെ മകൻ യഹത്ത്, യഹത്തിന്റെ മകൻ സിമ്മാ,
Of Gershom: Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,

And the sons of Samuel: the oldest Joel, and the second Abiah.

The sons of Merari: Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,
30 ഉസ്സയുടെ മകൻ ശിമെയാ, ശിമെയയുടെ മകൻ ഹഗ്ഗീയാവ്, ഹഗ്ഗീയാവിന്റെ മകൻ അസായാവ്.
Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.
31 ഉടമ്പടിയുടെ പേടകം ജെറുശലേമിൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചതിനുശേഷം യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ ഗാനശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യുന്നതിനായി ദാവീദ് നിയോഗിച്ചവർ ഇവരാണ്.
And these are those whom David made responsible for the music in the house of the Lord, after the ark had rest.
32 ശലോമോൻ ജെറുശലേമിൽ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയം പണിയിക്കുന്നതുവരെ ഇവർ സമാഗമത്തിനുള്ള കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഗാനങ്ങൾ ആലപിച്ച് ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. അവർക്കായി നിർണയിച്ചിരുന്ന അനുശാസനങ്ങൾ അനുസരിച്ച് അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ചുമതല അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചുവന്നു.
They gave worship with songs before the House of the Tent of meeting, till Solomon put up the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they took their places for their work in their regular order.

And these are those who did this work, and their sons. Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman, who made melody, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,
34 ശമുവേൽ എൽക്കാനായുടെ മകൻ, എൽക്കാനാ യെരോഹാമിന്റെ മകൻ, യെരോഹാം എലീയേലിന്റെ മകൻ, എലീയേൽ തോഹയുടെ മകൻ.
The son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,
35 തോഹ സൂഫിന്റെ മകൻ, സൂഫ് എൽക്കാനായുടെ മകൻ, എൽക്കാന മഹത്തിന്റെ മകൻ, മഹത്ത് അമാസായിയുടെ മകൻ.
The son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,

The son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.
39 ഹേമാന്റെ സഹായിയായി അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വലതുഭാഗത്തു നിന്ന് ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്തിരുന്ന ആസാഫിന്റെ വംശാവലി: ആസാഫ് ബേരെഖ്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ, ബേരെഖ്യാവ് ശിമെയായുടെ മകൻ,
And his brother Asaph, whose place was at his right hand, Asaph, the son of Berechiah, the son of Shimea,

And their brothers the Levites were responsible for all the work of the Tent of the house of God.
49 എന്നാൽ അതിവിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തുള്ള ആരാധനയുടെ ഭാഗമായി ഹോമയാഗത്തിനുള്ള യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ ബലികൾ അർപ്പിക്കുന്നതും ധൂപപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ അർപ്പിക്കുന്നതും ദൈവദാസനായ മോശ കൽപ്പിച്ചതെല്ലാം അനുസരിച്ച് ഇസ്രായേലിനുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നതും അഹരോനും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികളുംമാത്രമായിരുന്നു.
But Aaron and his sons made offerings on the altar of burned offering, and on the altar of perfume, for all the work of the most holy place, and to take away the sin of Israel, doing everything ordered by Moses, the servant of God.
50 അഹരോന്റെ പിൻഗാമികൾ ഇവരായിരുന്നു: അഹരോന്റെ മകൻ എലെയാസാർ, എലെയാസാരിന്റെ മകൻ ഫീനെഹാസ്, ഫീനെഹാസിന്റെ മകൻ അബീശൂവ,
And these are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.
54 ലേവ്യരുടെ മേഖലകളായി വീതിച്ചുകിട്ടിയ അവരുടെ അധിനിവേശങ്ങളുടെ സ്ഥാനനിർണയം ഈ വിധമാണ്. അഹരോന്റെ പിൻഗാമികളിൽ കെഹാത്യകുലത്തിന് ആദ്യം നറുക്കുവീണു. അതിനാൽ അവർക്കായി ഇവ നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ടു:
Now these are their living-places, the limits inside which they were to put up their tents: to the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, because they had the first selection,
55 യെഹൂദ്യയിലെ ഹെബ്രോനും അതിനുചുറ്റുമുള്ള പുൽപ്പുറങ്ങളും അവർക്കു നൽകപ്പെട്ടു.
To them they gave Hebron and its outskirts in the land of Judah;
56 (എന്നാൽ നഗരത്തിനു ചുറ്റുമുള്ള വയലുകളും ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും യെഫുന്നയുടെ മകനായ കാലേബിനാണു കൊടുത്തത്).
But the open country of the town, and the small places round it, they gave to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh.
57 അങ്ങനെ സങ്കേതനഗരമായ ഹെബ്രോൻ അഹരോന്റെ പിൻഗാമികൾക്കു നൽകി. ലിബ്നാ, യത്ഥീർ, എസ്തെമോവ,
And to the sons of Aaron they gave Hebron, the town to which men might go in flight and be safe, and Libnah with its outskirts, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa with its outskirts,
58 ഹീലേൻ, ദെബീർ,
And Hilen with its outskirts, Debir with its outskirts,
59 ആശാൻ, യൂത്ത്, ബേത്-ശേമെശ് ഇവയും ഇവയ്ക്കു ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പുൽപ്പുറങ്ങളും അവർക്കുള്ളതായിരുന്നു.
And Ashan with its outskirts, and Beth-shemesh with its outskirts;
60 ബെന്യാമീൻഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്ന് ഗിബെയോനും ഗേബായും അലേമെത്തും അനാഥോത്തും അവയുടെ പുൽപ്പുറങ്ങളും ഇവർക്കു നൽകപ്പെട്ടു. ഇങ്ങനെ കെഹാത്യകുലങ്ങൾക്ക് നൽകപ്പെട്ട പട്ടണങ്ങൾ ആകെ പതിമ്മൂന്നെണ്ണം ആയിരുന്നു.
And from the tribe of Benjamin: Geba with its outskirts, and Alemeth with its outskirts, and Anathoth with its outskirts. All their towns among their families were thirteen towns.
61 കെഹാത്തിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികളിൽ ബാക്കിയുള്ളവർക്ക് മനശ്ശെയുടെ അർധഗോത്രത്തിലെ കുലങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് പത്തു നഗരങ്ങൾ ഭാഗിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു.
And to the rest of the sons of Kohath there were given by the Lord's decision ten towns out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim and out of the tribe of Dan and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh.
62 യിസ്സാഖാർ, ആശേർ, നഫ്താലി ഗോത്രങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും ബാശാനിലെ മനശ്ശെ ഗോത്രഭാഗത്തുനിന്നും ആയി പതിമ്മൂന്നു നഗരങ്ങൾ ഗെർശോമിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികൾക്കു കുലംകുലമായി ഭാഗിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു.
And to the sons of Gershom, by their families, out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen towns.
63 രൂബേൻ, ഗാദ്, സെബൂലൂൻ ഗോത്രങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് പന്ത്രണ്ടുനഗരങ്ങൾ മെരാരിയുടെ പിൻഗാമികൾക്ക് കുലംകുലമായി വിഭാഗിച്ചുനൽകി.
And to the sons of Merari, by their families, twelve towns were given by the Lord's decision, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun.
64 അങ്ങനെ ഇസ്രായേൽ ലേവ്യർക്ക് ഈ നഗരങ്ങളും അവയുടെ പുൽപ്പുറങ്ങളും കൊടുത്തു.
And the children of Israel gave to the Levites the towns with their outskirts.
65 യെഹൂദാ, ശിമെയോൻ, ബെന്യാമീൻഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്നു മുകളിൽ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന നഗരങ്ങൾ അവർക്കു കൊടുത്തു.
And they gave by the Lord's decision out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these towns whose names are given.
66 ചില കെഹാത്യകുലങ്ങൾക്ക് അവകാശഭൂമിയായി പട്ടണങ്ങൾ കൊടുത്തത് എഫ്രയീം ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്നാണ്.
And to the families of the sons of Kohath were given towns by the Lord's decision out of the tribe of Ephraim.
67 എഫ്രയീംമലനാട്ടിലെ സങ്കേതനഗരമായ ശേഖേമും ഗേസെരും
And they gave them the town to which men might go in flight and be safe, Shechem in the hill-country of Ephraim with its outskirts, and Gezer with its outskirts,
68 യോക്മെയാമും ബേത്-ഹോരോനും
And Jokmeam with its outskirts, and Beth-horon with its outskirts,
69 അയ്യാലോനും ഗത്ത്-രിമ്മോനും അവയുടെ പുൽപ്പുറങ്ങളും അവർക്കു നൽകി.
And Aijalon with its outskirts, and Gath-rimmon with its outskirts;
70 ശേഷമുള്ള കെഹാത്യകുലങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ മനശ്ശെയുടെ അർധഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്ന് ആനേരും ബിലെയാമും അവയുടെ പുൽപ്പുറങ്ങളും കൊടുത്തു.
And out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Aner with its outskirts, and Bileam with its outskirts, for the rest of the family of the sons of Kohath.
71 ഗെർശോമ്യർക്ക് താഴെപ്പറയുന്നവ ലഭിച്ചു: മനശ്ശെയുടെ അർധഗോത്രത്തിലെ കുലങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് ബാശാനിലെ ഗോലാനും അസ്തരോത്തും അവയുടെ പുൽപ്പുറങ്ങളും അവർക്കു ലഭിച്ചു.
To the sons of Gershom were given, out of the family of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with its outskirts, and Ashtaroth with its outskirts;
72 യിസ്സാഖാർ ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്ന് കേദേശും ദാബെരത്തും
And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedesh with its outskirts, and Daberath with its outskirts,

76 നഫ്താലിഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്ന് ഗലീലയിലെ കേദേശും ഹമ്മോനും കിര്യാത്തയീം അവയുടെ പുൽപ്പുറങ്ങളും അവർക്കു ലഭിച്ചു.
