< Salamo 107 >

1 Andriañeñe t’Iehovà, amy te Ie ro soa; nainai’e ty fiferenaiña’e.
Alleluia. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his mercy [endures] for ever.
2 Ano zay ry jineba’ Iehovà— ry nijebañe’e am-pitàn-drafelahy,
Let them say [so] who have been redeemed by the Lord, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
3 vaho hinoloholo’e hirik’ amo taneo, boak’atiñanañe naho ahandrefañ’ añe, boak’ avaratse vaho hirik’ amy riakey.
and gathered them out of the countries, from the east, and west, and north, and south.
4 Nirererere ambabangoañ’ añe iereo, an-dratraratra ao, tsy nahaonin-drova fimoneñañe.
They wandered in the wilderness in a dry land; they found no way to a city of habitation.
5 Nisalikoeñe naho taliñiereñe, nitoirañe añ’ova ao ty fiai’ iareo.
Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6 Le nitoreo am’ Iehovà an-kaloviloviañe naho hinaha’e amo hasotria’iareoo,
Then they cried to the Lord in their affliction, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
7 Nindese’e mb’an-dalam-bantam-beo higodañe mb’an-drova fimoneñañe añe.
And he guided them into a straight path, that they might go to a city of habitation.
8 Handriañe’ iereo t’Iehovà ty amy fiferenaiña’ey naho o fitoloña’e fanjaka amo ana’ondatioo,
Let them acknowledge to the Lord his mercies, and his wonderful works to the children of men.
9 fa nieneñe’e ty fiaiñe taliñiereñe, nanjañe’e raha soa ty troke nilimpoa.
For he satisfies the empty soul, and fills the hungry [soul] with good things,
10 Teo ty nitozòke añ’ieñe ao naho an-talinjon-kavilasy ao, rinohy an-kasotriañe naho vý,
[even] them that sit in darkness and the shadow of death, fettered in poverty and iron;
11 amy t’ie niody amo fepèn’Añahareo, vaho nañovok’ i famerea’ i Andindimoneñey.
because they rebelled against the words of God, and provoked the counsel of the Most High.
12 Aa le nampibokohe’e ty arofo’ iareo am-pitromahañe, nampidaleandaleañe tsy amam-pañimba.
So their heart was brought low with troubles; they were weak, and there was no helper.
13 Le nitoreo am’ Iehovà t’ie niankoheke, le rinomba’e amo fikoretañeo;
Then they cried to the Lord in their affliction, and he saved them out of their distresses.
14 naaka’e boak’ añ’ieñe naho an-talinjon-kavilasy ao, vaho nipoñafe’e o silisilio.
And he brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bonds asunder.
15 Handriañe’ iareo t’i Iehovà ty amy fiferenaiña’ey naho o halatsañe nanoe’e amo ana’ ondatioo,
Let them acknowledge to the Lord his mercies, and his wonders to the children of men.
16 amy te pinaratsà’e o lalam-bey torisìkeo naho pinozapoza’e o doda viñeo.
For he broke to pieces the brazen gates, and crushed the iron bars.
17 Nampisotriañe o seretseo ty amo fiolà’eo, naho o tahi’eo.
He helped them out of the way of their iniquity; for they were brought low because of their iniquities.
18 Nampangori’ ty fiai’ iareo ze atao hàneñe, ie nitotoke o lalam-bein-kavilasio.
Their soul abhorred all meat; and they drew near to the gates of death.
19 Le nitoreo am’ Iehovà t’ie niampoheke, vaho rinomba’e amo haemberañeo.
Then they cried to the Lord in their affliction, and he saved them out of their distresses.
20 Nahitri’e i tsara’ey nahajangañe iareo vaho navotso’e amy kiboriy.
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them out of their destructions.
21 Andriañe’ iereo t’Iehovà ty amy fiferenaiña’ey naho o halatsañe fanoe’e amo ana’ondatioo,
Let them acknowledge to the Lord his mercies, and his wonderful works to the children of men.
22 Ee t’ie hibanabana sorom- pañandriañañe naho hitalily o fitoloña’eo an-drebeke;
And let them offer to him the sacrifice of praise, and proclaim this works with exultation.
23 Ao ty mizotso mb’an-tsambo an-driake ey; o mpanao balibalik’ an-drano mieneneo,
They that go down to the sea in ships, doing business in many waters;
24 Fa niisa’ iareo o sata’ Iehovào, o halatsàñe fanoe’e an-dalekeo.
these [men] have seen the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.
25 Amy tsara’ey, nitroatse ty tio-bey, nampitoabotse o alon-driakeo.
He speaks, and the stormy wind arises, and its waves are lifted up.
26 Nionjomb’an-dindimb’eo iereo, vaho nizotso mb’an-dalek’ ao; nitranak’ ami’ty hekoheko’e ty fiai’iareo.
They go up to the heavens, and go down to the depths; their soul melts because of troubles.
27 Nivembeñe, nisiotsiotse hoe jike; fonga nilesa ty hihi’ iareo.
They are troubled, they stagger as a drunkard, and all their wisdom is swallowed up.
28 Nitoreove’ iareo t’Iehovà an-kasosorañe, vaho natsoa’e an-kasotriañe.
Then they cry to the Lord in their affliction, and he brings them out of their distresses.
29 Nampipendreñe’e i tio-beiy, le nitsiñe o onjan-driakeo.
And he commands the storm, and it is calmed into a gentle breeze, and its waves are still.
30 Niehake iereo te nibànatse, vaho nitehafe’e mb’amy fipalirañe nisalalaeñey.
And they are glad, because they are quiet; and he guides them to their desire haven.
31 Handriañe’ iereo t’Iehovà ty amy fiferenaiña’ey, naho o halatsañe fanoe’e amo ana’ ondatioo.
Let them acknowledge to the Lord his mercies, and his wonderful works to the children of men.
32 Ee t’ie honjone’ iareo am-pivori’ ondatio vaho handrenge Aze ami’ty fiambesa’ o androanavio.
Let them exalt him in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the seat of the elders.
33 Afote’e ho ratraratra o sakao, naho ho tane kankañe o torahañeo;
He turns rivers into a desert, and streams of water into a dry land;
34 ho fatran-tsira ty tane kobokara, ty ami’ty tsihavokara’ o mpitobok’ ama’eo.
a fruitful land into saltness, for the wickedness of them that dwell in it.
35 Ampanginakinahe’e o tane mihedatseo, vaho ampanganahanae’e o kirikintañeo;
He turns a wilderness into pools of water, and a dry land into streams of water.
36 hampitobea’e o limpoañeo, hañoreña’iareo rova fimoneñañe.
And there he causes the hungry to dwell, and they establish for themselves cities of habitation.
37 Handrarake an-teteke ao iereo, naho hambole tetem-bahe, vaho hanonton-tsabo vokatse;
And they sow fields, and plant vineyards, and they yield fruit of increase.
38 Tahie’e ka iereo hanaranàha’e maro, le tsy apo’e hiha-rìtse o añombe’eo.
And he blesses them, and they multiply exceedingly, and he diminishes not the number of their cattle.
39 Ie nitaketrake iereo, ninìke ami’ty famorekekeañe, naho fanilofañe, vaho anahelo;
Again they become few, and are brought low, by the pressure of evils and pain.
40 ampidoaña’e ìnje o roandriañeo, ampiriorioe’e am-bangý tsy aman-dalañe añe,
Contempt is poured upon their princes, and he causes them to wander in a desert and trackless land.
41 toe aonjo’e ambone’ o hasotriañeo i rarakey, vaho anoe hoe lia-raike o hasavereña’eo.
But he helps the poor out of poverty, and makes [him] families as a flock.
42 Isa’ o vantañeo zay le mifale, fonga mamìm-bava ka ty hatsivokarañe.
The upright shall see and rejoice; and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
43 Ia ty mahihitse, hiharaharà’e? ie ro mahafohiñe ty fiferenaiña’ Iehovà.
Who is wise, and will observe these things, and understand the mercies of the Lord?
