< Joba 40 >

1 Tinovo’ Iehovà am’Iobe ty hoe,
MOREOVER the Lord answered Job, and said,
2 Hatretrè’ ty mpandietse hao t’i El-Sadai? Manoiña, ry mpañeretse an’ Andrianañahareo.
Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
3 Nanoiñe Iehovà ami’ty hoe t’Iobe:
Then Job answered the Lord, and said,
4 Intoy o tsy manjofakeo; ino ty hahatoiñako azo? Hampikapefe’ ty tañako ty vavako.
Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
5 Indraike ty nivolañeko fa tsy ho tovoñako; eka, indroe, fa tsy ho losoreko.
Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.
6 Aa le nanoiñe Iobe t’Iehovà boak’ an-talio ao, ami’ty hoe,
Then answered the Lord unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
7 Midiaña hoe ondaty; hañontaneako le ihe ty hitaroñe amako.
Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
8 Hafote’o hao o zakakoo? Hamatse ahy rehe, hahazoa’o to?
Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?
9 Amam-pitàñe manahake añ’Andrianañahare v’iheo? Mahafañotrok’ am-peo hambañ’ ama’e hao?
Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
10 Mihamina amañ’engeñe naho havañonañe; misaroña asiñe naho volonahetse;
Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.
11 Adoaño o habose’o mandopatseo; jilovo ze hene mpirengevoke vaho afotsaho.
Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.
12 Fonga rendreho ty mpibohaboha, le arèho; lialiao ambane o lo-tserekeo.
Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
13 Akafiro hitraofa’e an-debok’ ao; vahoro añ’etak’ ao o lahara’ iareoo.
Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.
14 Le hiantofako ama’o te mahafandrombak’ azo o fità’o havanao.
Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.
15 Oniño hey ty Behemote, i naharoko fitseneañe ama’oy; mihinañe ahetse re manahake o añombeo.
Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
16 Heheke te am-poto-pe’e ao ty haozara’e, amo ozan-tro’eo ty hafatrara’e.
Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
17 Atora-kitsi’e hoe talý ty ohi’e; mifamanditse iaby o talin-ozan-toha’eo.
He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
18 Boda torisike o taola’eo, hoe tsotsò-by o kitso’eo
His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
19 Ie ty lohàñe amo satan’ añahareo; I namboatse azey ro mahafitotok’ ama’e am-pibara.
He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
20 Toe mamahan-kaneñe aze o vohitseo, amy fihisa’ o bibin-kivoke iabioy.
Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
21 Mandre ambane’ sohihy eo re, am-pipaliram-binda an-tane manginakinak’ ao.
He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
22 Mañalok’ aze ty talinjo’ o sohihio; miarikoboñ’ aze iaby o bararata añ’olon-dranoo.
The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
23 Tsy ihondrahondrà’e ty fandipora’ i sakay; mahasibeke re ndra te isorotombaha’ Iordaney mb’am-bava’e.
Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.
24 Eo hao ty hahatsepak’aze te mañente; eo hao ty hahafangirike i oro’ey hampikavitse aze?
He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.
