Ekyamateeka Olwokubiri 34
1 Awo Musa n’ayambuka okuva mu nsenyi za Mowaabu, n’alinnyalinnya Olusozi Nebo, n’atuukira ddala ku ntikko eyitibwa Pisuga, eyolekedde Yeriko. Mukama Katonda n’asinziira awo n’amulengeza ensi yonna ensuubize: okuva ku Giriyaadi okutuuka ku Ddaani,
Then Moses went from the plaine of Moab vp into mount Nebo vnto the top of Pisgah that is ouer against Iericho: and the Lord shewed him all the land of Gilead, vnto Dan,
2 ne Nafutaali yonna, n’ensi ya Efulayimu ne Manase, n’ensi yonna eya Yuda okutuuka ku Nnyanja ey’Ebugwanjuba,
And all Naphtali and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Iudah, vnto the vtmost sea:
3 ne Negebu n’olusenyi olw’ekiwonvu omuli Ekibuga ky’Enkindu ekiyitibwa Yeriko okutuukira ddala ku Zawaali.
And the South, and the plaine of the valley of Iericho, the citie of palmetrees, vnto Zoar.
4 Mukama Katonda n’agamba Musa nti, “Eyo y’ensi gye nalayirira Ibulayimu, ne Isaaka, ne Yakobo, nga ngibasuubiza nti, ‘Ndigiwa ezzadde lyo.’ Ngikulaze n’ogiraba n’amaaso go, naye tojja kusomoka kugituukamu.”
And the Lord said vnto him, This is the lande which I sware vnto Abraham, to Izhak and to Iaacob saying, I will giue it vnto thy seede: I haue caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not goe ouer thither.
5 Awo Musa, omuweereza wa Mukama, n’afiira awo mu nsi ya Mowaabu, ng’ekigambo kya Mukama Katonda bwe kyali.
So Moses the seruant of the Lord dyed there in the land of Moab, according to the worde of the Lord.
6 Mukama n’aziika Musa mu nsi ya Mowaabu, mu kiwonvu ekyolekedde Besupyoli, naye tewali n’omu amanyi malaalo ge we gali ne ku lunaku lwa leero.
And hee buried him in a valley in the land of Moab ouer against Beth-peor, but no man knoweth of his sepulchre vnto this day.
7 Musa we yafiira yali nga yakamaze emyaka kikumi mu abiri egy’obukulu; kyokka ng’amaaso ge galaba bulungi, era n’amaanyi ge nga tegakendeddeeko.
Moses was nowe an hundreth and twentie yeere olde when hee died, his eye was not dimme, nor his naturall force abated.
8 Abaana ba Isirayiri ne bakaabira Musa mu nsenyi za Mowaabu okumala ennaku amakumi asatu, okutuusa ennaku ezo ez’okukaaba n’okukungubagira Musa bwe zaggwaako.
And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plaine of Moab thirtie dayes: so the dayes of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.
9 Yoswa, mutabani wa Nuuni, yali ajjudde omwoyo ogw’amagezi, kubanga Musa yali yamuteekako emikono gye. Abaana ba Isirayiri ne bamuwulira, ne bakola nga Mukama Katonda bwe yali alagidde Musa.
And Ioshua the sonne of Nun was full of ye spirit of wisedome: for Moses had put his hands vpon him. And the children of Israel were obedient vnto him, and did as the Lord had commanded Moses.
10 Okuva olwo tewayimukangawo nnabbi mulala mu Isirayiri afaanana nga Musa, Mukama Katonda gwe yamanyagana naye amaaso n’amaaso.
But there arose not a Prophet since in Israel like vnto Moses (whome the Lord knew face to face)
11 Tewaaliwo yamwenkana olw’obubonero n’ebyamagero Mukama Katonda bye yamutuma okukola mu nsi y’e Misiri ku Falaawo ne ku baweereza be bonna, ne ku nsi ye yonna,
In all ye miracles and wonders which ye Lord sent him to do in ye land of Egypt before Pharaoh and before all his seruantes, and before al his land,
12 era n’olw’ekitiibwa kye eky’amaanyi amangi, n’obuyinza obw’entiisa bwe yayoleka mu Isirayiri yenna.
And in all that mightie hand and all that great feare, which Moses wrought in the sight of all Israel.
