| پاڕانەوەیەکی داود. ئەی خودایە، بمپارێزە، چونکە من پەنا دەهێنمە بەر تۆ. | 1 |
A Precious Psalm of David. Preserve me, O GOD, for I have sought refuge in thee.
| بە یەزدانم گوت: «تۆ گەورەی منی، بێجگە لە تۆ هیچ شتێکی چاکم نییە.» | 2 |
Thou hast said unto Yahweh, My Lord, art thou! My goodness, mounteth not unto thee.
| هەموو خۆشییەکم بە گەلە پیرۆزەکەیە کە لەناو خاکەکەن، ئەوانە شکۆدارن. | 3 |
It belongeth unto the holy ones, whom, in his own land, Yahweh, ennobleth, In whom is all his delight
| ئەوانەی بەدوای خوداوەندەکانی دیکە دەکەون، دەردیان زۆر دەبێت. خوێنی قوربانییان بۆ ناڕێژم و ناویشیان لەسەر لێوم نابێت. | 4 |
They multiply their idols—another, have they purchased! I will not pour out their drink-offerings of blood, nor will I take up their names on my lips.
| ئەی یەزدان، تۆ بەشە میرات و چارەنووسی منی، تۆ پشکی من دەستەبەر دەکەیت. | 5 |
Yahweh, is mine allotted portion and my cup, Thou, art maintaining my lot.
| گوریس کەوتە سەر چاکترین خاک بۆ بەشی من، بە ڕاستی میراتێکی دڵخۆشکەرم هەیە. | 6 |
The lines, have fallen unto me, in pleasant places, Verily an inheritance that delighteth me.
| ستایشی یەزدان دەکەم کە ئامۆژگاریم دەکات، تەنانەت بە شەویش دڵم ڕێنماییم دەکات. | 7 |
I will bless Yahweh, who hath counselled me, —Surely, by night, shall mine impulses admonish me.
| هەمیشە چاوم لەسەر یەزدانە، لەبەر ئەوەی لەلای دەستی ڕاستمەوەیە، ناهەژێم. | 8 |
I have set Yahweh before me continually, because he is on my right hand, I shall not be shaken!
| بۆیە دڵشادم و گیانم خۆشحاڵە، تەنانەت جەستەم بە ئاسوودەیی نیشتەجێیە، | 9 |
Therefore, hath my heart rejoiced, and mine honour exulted, Yea, my flesh, shall settle down securely;
| چونکە تۆ گیانم لە جیهانی مردوواندا بەجێناهێڵیت، هەروەها ڕێگا نادەیت دڵسۆزەکەی تۆ لەناو گۆڕ بۆگەن بێت. (Sheol h7585) | 10 |
For thou wilt not abandon my soul to hades, neither wilt thou suffer thy man of lovingkindness, to see corruption: (Sheol h7585)
| ڕێگای ژیانت پێ ناساندم، تێربوون لە شادی لە ئامادەبوونتدایە، خۆشحاڵی هەتاهەتایی لەلای دەستەڕاستی تۆدایە. | 11 |
Thou wilt cause me to know, the path of life, —Fulness of joys before thee, Pleasures at thy right hand evermore.
