پەندەکانی سلێمان 8

1 ئایا دانایی بانگەواز ناکات؟ ئەی تێگەیشتن دەنگی خۆی هەڵنابڕێت؟

Does not wisdom cry out? Does not understanding raise her voice?

2 لەسەر لووتکەی بەرزاییەکان، لەسەر ڕێگاکان، لە چواڕیانەکان ڕادەوەستێت.

On the top of high places by the way, where the paths meet, she stands.

3 لەلای دەروازەی شارەکان، لەبەردەم دەرگاکان، هاوار دەکات:

Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entry doors, she cries aloud:

4 «ئەی خەڵکینە، بۆ ئێوە بانگ دەکەم، دەنگم بۆ ئادەمیزادە.

“To you men, I call! I send my voice to the sons of mankind.

5 ساویلکەکان، فێری ژیری بن، گێلەکان، فێری تێگەیشتن بن.

You simple, understand prudence. You fools, be of an understanding heart.

6 گوێ بگرن، چونکە باسی شتی بەرزتان بۆ دەکەم، کردنەوەی لێوەکانم بۆ ڕاستەڕێییە.

Sh'ma ·Hear obey·, for I will speak excellent things. The opening of my lips is for right things.

7 ڕاستگۆیی وێردی دەممە، خراپەش قێزەونە بۆ لێوەکانم.

For my mouth speaks truth. Wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

8 قسەکانی دەمم هەموو ڕاستودروستن، هیچ فێڵ یان خواروخێچی تێدا نییە.

All the words of my mouth are in righteousness. There is nothing crooked or perverse in them.

9 هەموو ڕێکن لای کەسی تێگەیشتوو، ڕاستەڕێیە لای ئەوانەی زانیاری دەدۆزنەوە.

They are all plain to him who understands, right to those who find knowledge.

10 تەمبێکردن لە من وەربگرن نەک زیو، زانیاریش زیاتر لە زێڕی پوختەکراو،

Receive my instruction rather than silver; knowledge rather than choice gold.

11 چونکە دانایی لە یاقووت باشترە، هەرچی ئارەزووی دەکەیت نابێتە هاوتای.

For wisdom is better than rubies. All the things that may be desired can’t be compared to it.

12 «من داناییم، لەگەڵ ژیریدا نیشتەجێم، زانیاری و سەلیقەم هەیە.

“I, wisdom, have made prudence my dwelling. Find out knowledge and discretion.

13 ئەوەی لەخواترس بێت، ڕقی لە خراپە دەبێت، من ڕقم لە لووتبەرزی و خۆبەزلزانییە، لە ڕێگای خراپ و لە قسەی بە فێڵە.

The fear of Adonai is to hate evil. I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth.

14 ڕاوێژ و دانایی تەواو هی منن، تێگەیشتن هی منە، هێز هی منە.

Counsel and sound knowledge are mine. I have understanding and power.

15 بە منەوە پاشاکان پاشایەتی دەکەن و فەرمانڕەوایان بە ڕاستودروستی یاسا دەردەکەن.

By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.

16 بە منەوە میرەکان میرایەتی دەکەن، بەگەکان و هەموو ئەوانەی بە ڕاستودروستی دادوەری دەکەن.

By me princes rule; nobles, and all the upright rulers of the earth.

17 من ئەوانەم خۆشدەوێت کە منیان خۆشدەوێ، ئەوانەش کە بە پەرۆشەوە بەدوامدا دەگەڕێن، دەمدۆزنەوە.

I 'ahav ·affectionately love· those who 'ahav ·affectionately love· me. Those who seek me diligently will find me.

18 دەوڵەمەندی و ڕێزداری لەلای منە، ڕاستودروستی و ئەو سامانەی کە دەمێنێتەوە.

With me are riches, kavod ·weighty glory·, enduring wealth, and prosperity.

19 بەرهەمی من لە زێڕ باشترە، لە زێڕی بێگەردیش، دەغڵیشم لە زیوی پوختەکراو باشترە.

My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold; my yield than choice silver.

20 بە ڕێچکەی ڕاستودروستیدا دەڕۆم، لەسەر ڕێبازی دادپەروەری،

I walk in the way of righteousness, in the middle of the paths of mishpat ·justice·;

21 تاکو سامان بکەمە میرات بۆ ئەوانەی منیان خۆشدەوێت و ئەمبارەکانیان پڕ بکەم.

That I may give wealth to those who 'ahav ·affectionately love· me. I fill their treasuries.

22 «یەزدان لە سەرەتای بەدیهێنانەکەی منی دروستکرد، هەر لە کۆنەوە لەپێش کارەکانی.

“Adonai possessed me in the beginning of his work, before his deeds of old.

23 لە ئەزەلەوە من دامەزراوم، لە سەرەتاوە، لەپێش زەوی.

I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, before the earth existed.

24 هێشتا زەریاکان نەببوون من بەدیهێنراوم، هێشتا کانییە پڕ ئاوەکان نەبوون.

When there were no depths, I was born, when there were no springs abounding with water.

25 پێش ئەوەی چیاکان بچەسپێن، پێش گردەکان، من بەدیهێنراوم،

Before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was born;

26 هێشتا نە زەوی و نە پانتاییەکانی دروستکردبوو، نە سەرەتای خۆڵی زەوی.

while as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the beginning of the dust of the world.

27 کاتێک کە ئاسمانی جێگیر کرد من لەوێ بووم، کاتێک کە هێڵی ئاسۆی بەسەر قووڵاییدا کێشا،

When he established the heavens, I was there; when he set a circle on the surface of the deep,

28 کاتێک کە هەوری لە ئاسمان ڕاگرت و سەرچاوەی قووڵاییەکانی چەسپاند،

when he established the clouds above, when the springs of the deep became strong,

29 کاتێک کە سنووری بۆ دەریا کێشا بۆ ئەوەی ئاوەکان فەرمانی ئەو نەشکێنن، کاتێک کە بناغەی زەوی داڕشت.

when he gave to the sea its boundary by his statute, that the waters should not violate the word of his mouth, when he marked out the foundations of the earth;

30 لەگەڵ ئەو وەستایەکی لێزان بووم، ڕۆژبەڕۆژ شادمانی ئەو بووم، هەمیشە لەبەردەمیدا دڵخۆش بووم،

then I was the craftsman by his side. I was a delight day by day, always rejoicing before him,

31 لە زەوییە ئاوەدانەکەی دڵخۆش دەبووم، لەگەڵ ئادەمیزاد شادمان بووم.

Rejoicing in his whole world. My delight was with the sons of men.

32 «ئەی کوڕینە، ئێستاش گوێم لێ بگرن، خۆزگە دەخوازرێ بەوانەی ڕێگای من دەپارێزن.

“Now therefore, my sons, sh'ma ·hear obey· unto me, for blessed are those who keep my ways.

33 گوێ لە تەمبێکردن بگرن و دانا بن، پشت گوێی مەخەن.

Sh'ma ·Hear obey· instruction, and be wise. Don’t refuse it.

34 خۆزگە دەخوازرێ بەو کەسەی گوێم لێ دەگرێت، ڕۆژبەڕۆژ لەلای دەرگاکەم ئاگادارە، لەلای دەروازەی دەرگاکەم ئێشک دەگرێت،

Blessed is the man who sh'ma ·hears obeys· me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my door posts.

35 چونکە ئەوەی من بدۆزێتەوە، ژیان دەدۆزێتەوە، ڕەزامەندی یەزدانیش بەدەستدەهێنێت.

For whoever finds me, finds life, and will obtain favor from Adonai.

36 بەڵام ئەوەی من نەدۆزێتەوە زیان بە خۆی دەگەیەنێت، هەموو ئەوانەی ڕقیان لە منە، مردنیان خۆشدەوێت.»

But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul. All those who hate me 'ahav ·affectionately love· death.”
