یەکەم تیمۆساوس 5

1 پیر سەرزەنشت مەکە، بەڵکو وەک باوک هانی بدە. وەک برا لەگەڵ گەنجان هەڵسوکەوت بکە،

An ancient man rebuke not, but entreat him as a father: young men, as brethren:

2 وەک دایک لەگەڵ پیرێژن، لەگەڵ کچانیش وەک خوشک بەوپەڕی پاکی.

Old women, as mothers: young women, as sisters, in all chastity.

3 ڕێز لەو بێوەژنانە بگرە کە بەڕاستی بێوەژنن.

Honour widows, that are widows indeed.

4 بەڵام ئەگەر بێوەژنێک منداڵ و وەچەی هەبوو، با فێربن یەکەم جار وەک ئەرکی باوەڕە ڕێز لە خانەوادەیان بگرن و چاکەی دایک و باوکیان بدەنەوە، چونکە ئەمە پەسەندکراوە لای خودا.

But if any widow have children, or grandchildren, let her learn first to govern her own house, and to make a return of duty to her parents: for this is acceptable before God.

5 بێوەژنی ڕاستەقینە بە تەنهایە، هیوای بە خودایە، شەو و ڕۆژ بەردەوامە لە نوێژ و پاڕانەوە.

But she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, let her trust in God, and continue in supplications and prayers night and day.

6 بەڵام ئەوەی بە چێژی دنیایی دەژیێت، بە زیندوویی مردووە.

For she that liveth in pleasures, is dead while she is living.

7 جا ئەمانەیان پێ ڕابسپێرە تاکو بێ گلەیی بن.

And this give in charge, that they may be blameless.

8 بەڵام ئەگەر یەکێک بایەخ بە نزیکەکەی نادات بە تایبەتی ئەندامانی خێزانی، ئەوا نکۆڵی لە باوەڕ کردووە و خراپترە لە بێباوەڕ.

But if any man have not care of his own, and especially of those of his house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

9 ئەگەر بێوەژنێک تەمەنی لە شەست ساڵ کەمتر نەبێت و یەک مێردی هەبووبێت، لە لیست بنووسرێت.

Let a widow be chosen of no less than threescore years of age, who hath been the wife of one husband.

10 هەروەها دەبێت بە چاکەکاری شایەتی بۆ بدرێت، منداڵی بەخێو کردبێت، میوانداری کردبێت، پێی باوەڕدارانی شوشتبێت، یارمەتی لێقەوماوانی دابێت، بە هەموو جۆرە چاکەکارییەک هەستا بێت.

Having testimony for her good works, if she have brought up children, if she have received to harbour, if she have washed the saints’ feet, if she have ministered to them that suffer tribulation, if she have diligently followed every good work.

11 بەڵام بێوەژنانی گەنج لەم لیستەیە دامەنێن، چونکە کاتێک ئارەزووەکانیان زاڵ دەبێت پشت لە مەسیح دەکەن، حەز لە شووکردنەوە دەکەن.

But the younger widows avoid. For when they have grown wanton in Christ, they will marry:

12 ئینجا تاوانبار دەکرێن، چونکە پەیمانی یەکەمیان شکاندووە.

Having damnation, because they have made void their first faith.

13 هەروەها فێری بێکاری و ماڵەوماڵکردن دەبن، نەک تەنها بێکاری، بەڵکو غەیبەتکاری و خۆخستنە کاروباری خەڵک، باسی هەندێک شت دەکەن کە پێویست نییە.

And withal being idle they learn to go about from house to house: and are not only idle, but tattlers also, and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.

14 بۆیە دەمەوێ بێوەژنانی گەنج مێرد بکەنەوە، تاکو منداڵیان ببێت و ماڵ بەڕێوە ببەن و دەرفەت نەدەنە دوژمن بۆ بوختانپێکردنمان،

I will therefore that the younger should marry, bear children, be mistresses of families, give no occasion to the adversary to speak evil.

15 چونکە هەندێکیان گومڕا بوونە و بەدوای شەیتان کەوتوون.

For some are already turned aside after Satan.

16 ئەگەر ژنە باوەڕدارێک بێوەژنێکی لە کەسوکاری هەبوو، با یارمەتی بدات و نەبێتە بار بەسەر کڵێساوە، تاکو کڵێسا یارمەتی ئەوانە بدات کە بەڕاستی بێوەژنن.

If any of the faithful have widows, let him minister to them, and let not the church be charged: that there may be sufficient for them that are widows indeed.

17 ئەو پیرانەی کە بە باشی کڵێسا بەڕێوەدەبەن، شایانی ڕێزێکی دووقاتن، بە تایبەت ئەوانەی لە وتاردان و فێرکردنی وشەی خودا ماندوو دەبن،

Let the priests that rule well, be esteemed worthy of double honour: especially they who labour in the word and doctrine:

18 چونکە نووسراوە پیرۆزەکە دەفەرموێ: [لە کاتی گێرەکردن دەمی گا مەگرە،] هەروەها: [کرێکار شایانی کرێی خۆیەتی.]

For the scripture saith: Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn: and, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

19 سکاڵا لەسەر هیچ پیرێک قبوڵ مەکە، بە دوو یان سێ شایەت نەبێت.

Against a priest receive not an accusation, but under two or three witnesses.

20 ئەوانەی گوناه دەکەن لەبەردەم هەمووان سەرزەنشتیان بکە، بۆ ئەوەی ئەوانی دیکەش بترسن.

Them that sin reprove before all: that the rest also may have fear.

21 لەبەردەم خودا و عیسای مەسیح و فریشتە هەڵبژێردراوەکان ڕاتدەسپێرم، ئەم ڕاسپاردانە بە بێ لایەنگری بەجێبگەیەنە و هیچ شتێک بە دەمارگیرییەوە مەکە.

I charge thee before God, and Christ Jesus, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by declining to either side.

22 بە پەلە دەست لەسەر کەس دامەنێ و بەشداری گوناهی خەڵکی دیکە مەکە. خۆت بە پاکی ڕابگرە.

Impose not hands lightly upon any man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins. Keep thyself chaste.

23 ئیتر تەنها ئاو مەخۆرەوە، بەڵکو لەبەر گەدە و نەخۆشییە زۆرەکانت، هەندێک شەراب بخۆوە.

Do not still drink water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake, and thy frequent infirmities.

24 هەندێک کەس گوناهەکانیان ئاشکرایە و پێشیان دەکەوێت بۆ حوکمدان، بەڵام هەندێکی دیکە دوایان دەکەوێت.

Some men’s sins are manifest, going before to judgment: and some men they follow after.

25 بە هەمان شێوە کرداری چاک ئاشکرایە، تەنانەت ئەوانەی ئاشکراش نین ناتوانرێ بشاردرێتەوە.

In like manner also good deeds are manifest: and they that are otherwise, cannot be hid.
