< Psalm 64 >

1 [Psalm lal David] O God, porongo pre luk, tuh nga muta in ongoiya! Moliyula tuh nga sangeng sin mwet lokoalok luk!
For the chief musician. A psalm of David. Hear my voice, God, listen to my complaint; preserve my life from fear of my enemies.
2 Langoeyula liki pwapa lukma lun mwet sulallal, Ac liki u lulap lun mwet koluk.
Hide me from the secret plotting of evildoers, from the commotion of the doers of iniquity.
3 Elos teim lohulos oana cutlass, Ac akoo in pisrik kas kutasrik lalos oana sukan pisr.
They have sharpened their tongues like swords; they have aimed their arrows, bitter words,
4 Elos sa na in fahkelik kaskas kikiap lalos; Elos kunausla mwet wo ke kaskas in akkoluk lalos.
so that they may shoot from secret places at someone who is innocent; suddenly they shoot at him and fear nothing.
5 Elos akkeye sie sin sie ke pwapa lukma lalos; Elos pwapani lah elos ac filiya oya mwe kwasrip lalos, Ac fahk, “Wangin mwet ac ku in liye.”
They encourage themselves in an evil plan; they consult privately together in order to set traps; they say, “Who will see us?”
6 Elos oru pwapa koluk lalos ac fahk, “Lemlem na wowo se pa kut orala inge!” Nunak ac insien mwet uh ma lukma!
They invent sinful plans; “We have finished,” they say, “a careful plan.” The inner thoughts and hearts of man are deep.
7 Tusruktu God El pisrki pisr natul nu kaclos Ac elos kineta in pacl sa na.
But God will shoot them; suddenly they will be wounded with his arrows.
8 El ac fah kunauselosla ke sripen kas lalos; Mwet nukewa su liye ma inge elos fah usruk sifalos.
They will be made to stumble, since their own tongues are against them; all who see them will wag their heads.
9 Elos nukewa ac fah sangeng; Elos ac nunku yohk ke ma God El oru inge Ac srumun ma El orala.
All people will fear and will declare God's deeds. They will wisely think about what he has done.
10 Mwet suwoswos nukewa elos ac fah enganak Ke sripen ma LEUM GOD El oru. Elos ac fah konauk moul misla in El; Mwet wo nukewa elos ac fah kaksakunul.
The righteous will be glad about Yahweh and will take refuge in him; all the upright in heart will take pride in him.
