Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
3 Na elos liye kutu ma su oana luman loh ma firir, su fahsrelik ac tuhwi fin kais sie mwet in acn sac.
Divided tongues that looked like fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them.
4 Elos nukewa sessesla ke Ngun Mutal ac mutawauk in kaskas ke kutena kain in kas, oana ke Ngun sang nu selos in fahk.
Then they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
5 Oasr mwet Jew su muta in Jerusalem, mwet lun alu, su tuku liki mutunfacl nukewa fin faclu.
Now there were devout Jews from every nation under heaven dwelling in Jerusalem.

They were all astonished and amazed, saying to one another, “Behold, are not all these who are speaking Galileans?

How then do we each hear them in our own native languages?

12 Ke lut lulap ac fohsak lalos, elos asiyuki na inmasrlolos, “Mea kalmen ma inge?”
They were all amazed and greatly perplexed, saying to one another, “What could this mean?”
13 A kutu sin mwet uh aksruksruk ke mwet lulalfongi, ac fahk mu, “Mwet inge sruhi!”
But others scoffed at the believers, saying, “They are filled with new wine.”
14 Na Peter el tuyak wi mwet sap singoul sie, ac fahkak ke sie pusra lulap nu sin un mwet uh: “Mwet Jew wiasr, ac kowos nukewa su muta in Jerusalem, porongeyu ke nga ac aketeya kalmen ma inge nu suwos.
Then Peter stood up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and declared to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and give ear to my words.
15 Mwet inge tia sruhi oana ke kowos nunku an; tufahna ao eu ke lotutang uh pa inge.
These men are not drunk, as you suppose, for it is only the third hour of the day.

But this is what was spoken through the prophet Joel:
17 ‘God El fahk, Pa inge ma nga ac oru ke len safla uh, Nga fah oru tuh ngun mutal luk in tuku nu fin mwet nukewa. Wen nutuwos ac acn nutuwos elos ac fah sulkakin kas luk; Mukul fusr lowos elos ac fah liye aruruma sin God me, Ac mukul matu lowos elos ac fah mwemei ma pwaye lun God.
‘In the last days, says God, I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.
18 Aok, finne mwet kulansap luk, mukul ac mutan, Nga ac fah sang ngun luk nu faclos in len ingo, Ac elos ac fah wi pac sulkakin kas luk.
Even upon my male and female servants I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.

And everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.’

“Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with miracles, wonders, and signs that God did through him in your midst, just as you yourselves well know,
23 God El sifacna oakiya meet lah El ac eisalot Jesus nu inpouwos, ac kowos sang tuh mwet koluk in unilya fin sakseng soko.

24 Tusruk God El akmoulyalak liki misa, ac aksukosokyal liki ku lun misa, mweyen misa tia ku in sruokilya oana sie mwet kapir.
But God raised him up, releasing him from the pangs of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.
25 Tuh David el fahk ouinge kacl, ‘Nga liye Leum God ye mutuk in pacl nukewa; El apkuran nu sik, ac nga ac fah tiana fosrnga.

So then, because he was a prophet and knew that God had sworn an oath to him that from among his descendants, according to the flesh, he would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne,

David foresaw what would happen and spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, saying that his soul was not abandoned to Hades and that his flesh did not see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
32 God El tuh akmoulyauk Jesus se inge liki misa, ac kut nukewa mwet loh kac.

Therefore, having been exalted to the right hand of God and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you now see and hear.
34 Mweyen tia David pa tuh som nu lucng ah; a David el tuh fahk, ‘Leum God El fahk nu sin Leum luk: Muta inge, ke lac po layot sik,
For David did not ascend to heaven, but he himself says, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand

36 “Ke ma inge, wona kowos mwet Israel nukewa in arulana etu kalem, lah Jesus se inge su kowos srupusrak fin sakseng, pa God El orala tuh elan Leum ac Christ!”
Therefore, let all the house of Israel know with certainty that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”

Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39 Tuh wulela lun God orekla nu suwos ac nu sin tulik nutuwos, oayapa mwet nukewa su muta yen loessula — elos nukewa su Leum God lasr El pangonma nu yorol.”
For this promise is for you, for your children, and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God calls to himself.”
40 Peter el kwafe ouinge nu selos ke kas in akku puspis saya, ac fahk, “Sifacna molikowosla liki mwe kai su ac sikyak nu sin fwil se inge su arulana koluk.”
With many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this crooked generation.”
41 Mwet puspis selos lulalfongi kas lal Peter ac baptaisla, ac akuran tolu tausin mwet pa wela u sac ke len sac.
Then those who gladly received his word were baptized, and about three thousand souls were added on that day.

They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

A sense of awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done by the apostles.

Day by day as they continued meeting together with one accord in the temple courts and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food together with gladness and simplicity of heart,
