< 1 Corintios 3 >

1 Qachalal, ri in man xinkwin taj xintzijon iwukꞌ qas ko chik pa ri uxlabꞌixel xane jer ix kꞌo tyoꞌjal taq winaq jer xinbꞌan akꞌalabꞌ chichꞌabꞌexik pa Cristo.
But I, Brothers, could not speak to you as men with spiritual insight, but only as worldly-minded — mere infants in the Faith of Christ.
2 Man xinkꞌut ta chiꞌwach jastaq ri kꞌax uchꞌobꞌik, xane are xinkꞌut ri man kꞌax taj uchꞌobꞌik, rumal cher je ri ix kꞌo nitzꞌ taq akꞌalabꞌ man kixkwin ta na kitij ko taq jastaq xaq xwi leche.
I fed you with milk, not with solid food, for you were not then able to take it. No, and even now you are not able; you are still worldly.
3 Kꞌamajaꞌ ix ko. Kꞌa xaq jeꞌ kꞌo taq oyawal chiꞌwe xuqujeꞌ kachkatik majaꞌ ix ko. ¿La man je tajin kixnoꞌjinik jetaq ri kenoꞌjin ri winaq ajuwachulew?
While there exist among you jealousy and party feeling, is it not true that you are worldly, and are acting merely as other men do?
4 Are kubꞌij jun chiꞌwe: In are nutereneꞌm ri Pablo, jun chik kubꞌij are nutereneꞌm ri Apolos. ¿La man kꞌu jewaꞌ kenoꞌjin ri man ketaꞌm ta uwach ri Dios?
When one says ‘I follow Paul,’ and another ‘I follow Apollos,’ are not you like other men?
5 ¿Jachin kꞌu riꞌ ri Apolos? ¿Jachin xuqujeꞌ riꞌ ri Pablo? Man kꞌo ta chi jun keqeleꞌn, waꞌ aꞌreꞌ e patanijelabꞌ, xwi xkibꞌano ri kipatan ri xuya ri Ajawxel, kumal ke xixkojon ix.
What, I ask, is Apollos? or what is Paul? Servants through whom you were led to accept the Faith; and that only as the Lord helped each of you.
6 In xintikow ri ijaꞌ, ri Apolos xujaꞌj, ri Dios kꞌut are xkꞌiyisan ri tikoꞌn.
I planted, and Apollos watered, but it was God who caused the growth.
7 Xaq jeriꞌ man are ta kꞌo uqꞌij ri xtikow ri ijaꞌ xuqujeꞌ man are ta ri xjaꞌnik, xane are nim uqꞌij ri Dios rumal cher are kakꞌiyisan ri ijaꞌ.
Therefore neither the man who plants, nor the man who waters, is of any account, but only God who causes the growth.
8 Ri ajtikolobꞌ xuqujeꞌ ri kajaꞌn ri tikoꞌn xaq junam kiqꞌij, are kꞌu ri tojbꞌal ke are jacha ri unimal ri chak ri xkibꞌano.
In this the man who plants and the man who waters are one; yet each will receive his own reward in proportion to his own labour.
9 Qas tzij wi, uj uj tobꞌanelabꞌ, uj patanil rech ri Dios. Ri ix kꞌut ix junam rukꞌ ri ulew ri kutik wi ri Dios ri ijaꞌ. Ix ix rachoch ri Dios.
For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s harvest field, God’s building.
10 Pa ri utoqꞌobꞌ ri Dios xubꞌan chwe chi in kinilowik jas kabꞌan chuyakik ri ja, xinkoj ri utakꞌalibꞌal ri ja, jun chi kꞌut kayakowik. Rajawaxik kꞌut chi qas utz kubꞌan jun chuyakik ri ja.
In fulfilment of the charge which God had entrusted to me, I laid the foundation like a skilful master-builder; but another man is now building upon it. Let every one take care how he builds;
11 Man kꞌo ta chi kꞌu jun kakwinik kukoj jun takꞌalibꞌal chik ri man are ta Jesucristo.
for no man can lay any other foundation than the one already laid — Jesus Christ.
12 We kꞌo ne jun kuwok jun jastaq puꞌwiꞌ we takꞌalibꞌal riꞌ, pune rukꞌ qꞌana pwaq, saq pwaq o wine jeꞌlik taq abꞌaj, o xuqujeꞌ rukꞌ ne cheꞌ, pajo o chaqiꞌj taq uxaq cheꞌ,
Whatever is used by those who build upon this foundation, whether gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw,
the quality of each man’s work will become known, for the Day will make it plain; because that Day is to be ushered in with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of every man’s work.
14 We ri chak ri xubꞌan ri winaq man kasach ta uwach, kayaꞌtaj na riꞌ utojbꞌalil.
If any man’s work, which he has built upon that foundation, still remains, he will gain a reward.
15 We kꞌu kakꞌat ri uchak pa ri qꞌaqꞌ, riꞌ xa xtzaqmajik. Pune kakolotaj riꞌ ri winaq jetaq ri kubꞌan jun are kikꞌow pa ri qꞌaqꞌ.
If any man’s work is burnt up, he will suffer loss; though he himself will escape, but only as one who has passed through fire.
16 ¿La man iwetaꞌm chi ix, ix utemplo ri Dios, xuqujeꞌ ri Uxlabꞌixel rech ri Dios kꞌo pa iwanimaꞌ?
Do not you know that you are God’s Temple, and that God’s Spirit has his home in you?
17 We kꞌo jun kubꞌan kꞌax che ri utemplo ri Dios, kabꞌan na kꞌax che areꞌ rumal ri Dios, rumal cher sibꞌalaj tyox riꞌ ri utemplo ri Dios, xuqujeꞌ ix riꞌ ri ix utemplo ri Dios.
If any one destroys the Temple of God, God will destroy him; for the Temple of God is sacred, and so also are you.
18 Maj bꞌa jun kusubꞌ ribꞌ chiꞌwe. We kꞌo jun kunaꞌo chi kꞌo retaꞌmabꞌal rech uwachulew, chubꞌana chi maj retaꞌmabꞌal rech jeriꞌ kukꞌamawaꞌj na etaꞌmabꞌal. (aiōn g165)
Let no one deceive himself. If any one among you imagines that, as regards this world, he is a wise man, let him become a ‘fool,’ that he may become wise. (aiōn g165)
19 Rumal cher ri etaꞌmabꞌal rech uwachulew, xaq konarisabꞌal cho ri Dios. Jetaq kubꞌij ri tzꞌibꞌatalik: Ri Dios kuꞌchap ri kꞌo ketaꞌmabꞌal kuꞌqasaj pa ri tontoꞌil.
For in God’s sight this world’s wisdom is folly. Scripture tells of — ‘One who catches the wise in their own craftiness,’
20 Xuqujeꞌ kubꞌij: Ri Ajawxel retaꞌm chi man kꞌo ta kutayij ri kichomabꞌal ri achyabꞌ ri kꞌo ketaꞌmabꞌal.
And it says again — ‘The Lord sees how fruitless are the deliberations of the wise.’
21 Xaq jeriꞌ maj bꞌa jun kunaꞌ nimal kumal ke ri achyabꞌ, jeriꞌ rumal cher ronojel ri jastaq ri kꞌolik, iwech.
Therefore let no one boast about men; for all things are yours —
22 Pune are ri Pablo o ri Apolos, o ri Pedro, o pune xuqujeꞌ are ronojel ri tiktalik, ri kaqilo xuqujeꞌ ri man kaqil taj, ri kꞌaslemal, o ri kamikal, ri qꞌij kamik o are ne ri kape na, ronojel iwech ix.
Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Kephas, or the world, or life, or death, or the present, or the future — all things are yours!
23 Ix, ix rech ri Cristo, ri Cristo rech ri Dios.
But you are Christ’s and Christ is God’s.
