ಯೆಶಾಯನು 48
1 “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನವರೂ, ಯೆಹೂದವೆಂಬ ಒರತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂದವರೂ ಆದ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ: ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟು, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಆದರೆ ಸತ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಅಥವಾ ನೀತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಅಲ್ಲ.
“Hear this, house of Jacob, you who are called by the name of Israel, and have come out of the waters of Judah. You swear by the LORD’s name, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness—
2 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ತಾವು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪಟ್ಟಣದವರು ಎಂದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಎಂಬುದು ಆತನ ಹೆಸರು.
for they call themselves citizens of the holy city, and rely on the God of Israel; the LORD of Armies is his name.
3 ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದಲ್ಲೇ ಹಳೆಯ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವು ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟವು ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾನು ತಟ್ಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಲು, ಅವು ನೆರವೇರಿದವು.
I have declared the former things from of old. Yes, they went out of my mouth, and I revealed them. I did them suddenly, and they happened.
4 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀನು ಹಟಗಾರ. ನಿನ್ನ ಕತ್ತಿನ ನರಗಳು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣ, ನಿನ್ನ ಹಣೆ ಕಂಚಿನದು ಎಂದು ನಾನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
Because I knew that you are obstinate, and your neck is an iron sinew, and your brow bronze;
5 ‘ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳು ನಡಿಸಿದೆ. ನನ್ನ ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ವಿಗ್ರಹ ಮತ್ತು ಎರಕದ ವಿಗ್ರಹ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸಿದೆ,’ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಂತೆ ನಾನು ಪುರಾತನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇವು ಸಂಭವಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲೇ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆನು.
therefore I have declared it to you from of old; before it came to pass I showed it to you; lest you should say, ‘My idol has done them. My engraved image and my molten image has commanded them.’
6 ನೀನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೀ, ಇವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸು. ನೀವು ಅದನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇದ್ದೀರೋ? “ಇಂದಿನಿಂದ ಹೊಸ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ನೀನು ತಿಳಿಯದಿದ್ದ ಗುಪ್ತವಾದ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
You have heard it. Now see all this. And you, won’t you declare it? “I have shown you new things from this time, even hidden things, which you have not known.
7 ಈಗಲೇ ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತಿವೆ, ಪುರಾತನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಿಲ್ಲ; ‘ಇದೆಲ್ಲ ನನಗೆ ಮೊದಲೇ ತಿಳಿದಿತ್ತು,’ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಂತೆ, ನಾನು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಮುಂತಿಳಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
They are created now, and not from of old. Before today, you didn’t hear them, lest you should say, ‘Behold, I knew them.’
8 ನೀನು ಕೇಳಿಲ್ಲ, ತಿಳಿದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಪುರಾತನ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಯು ತೆರೆದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ವಂಚಕನೆಂದೂ, ಗರ್ಭದಿಂದಲೇ ನೀನು ದ್ರೋಹಿ ಎಂದೂ ನಾನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
Yes, you didn’t hear. Yes, you didn’t know. Yes, from of old your ear was not opened, for I knew that you dealt very treacherously, and were called a transgressor from the womb.
9 ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ತಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು. ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಕಳಂಕ ಬಾರದಂತೆ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲಮಾಡದೆ ತಾಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
For my name’s sake, I will defer my anger, and for my praise, I hold it back for you so that I don’t cut you off.
10 ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯಂತೆ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಸಂಕಟದ ಕುಲುಮೆಯಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver. I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction.
11 ನನಗಾಗಿಯೇ, ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಹೇಗೆ ಅಪವಿತ್ರವಾಗುವುದು? ನನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಗೊಡಿಸೆನು.
For my own sake, for my own sake, I will do it; for how would my name be profaned? I will not give my glory to another.
12 “ಯಾಕೋಬೇ, ನಾನು ಕರೆದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡು. ಆತನು ನಾನೇ, ನಾನೇ ಮೊದಲನೆಯವನು, ನಾನೇ ಕಡೆಯವನು.
“Listen to me, O Jacob, and Israel my called: I am he. I am the first. I am also the last.
13 ನನ್ನ ಕೈ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿತು, ನನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈ ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಹರಡಿತು, ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಲು, ಅವು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡವು.
Yes, my hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand has spread out the heavens. when I call to them, they stand up together.
14 “ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ಅವುಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದವರು ಯಾರು? ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮಿತ್ರನು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ತನ್ನ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ತನ್ನ ತೋಳು ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವುದು.
“Assemble yourselves, all of you, and hear! Who amongst them has declared these things? He whom the LORD loves will do what he likes to Babylon, and his arm will be against the Chaldeans.
15 ನಾನೇ, ನಾನಾಗಿಯೇ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾನೇ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕರೆದದ್ದು; ಅವನನ್ನು ನಾನೇ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವನ ಮಾರ್ಗವು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗುವುದು.
I, even I, have spoken. Yes, I have called him. I have brought him and he shall make his way prosperous.
16 “ನನ್ನ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. “ಆದಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ನಾನು ಗುಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಮಾತಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಭೂಮಿಯು ಉಂಟಾದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಇದ್ದೇನೆ.” ಈಗ ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮರ ಸಮೇತ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
“Come near to me and hear this: “From the beginning I have not spoken in secret; from the time that it happened, I was there.” Now the Lord GOD has sent me with his Spirit.
17 ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಮೋಚಕನೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮಾತಿದು, “ನಿನ್ನ ಉಪಯೋಗಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವವನೂ, ನೀನು ನಡೆಯಬೇಕಾದ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವವನೂ ಆದ ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
The LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, says: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.
18 ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರೆ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿತ್ತು! ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಮಾಧಾನವು ನದಿಯಂತೆಯೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಅಲೆಗಳಂತೆಯೂ ಇರುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು,
Oh that you had listened to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
19 ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನವು ಸಹ ಮರಳಿನಂತೆಯೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ ಧಾನ್ಯಗಳಂತೆಯೂ ಇರುವರು. ಅವರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಿಂದ, ಅಳಿದುಹೋಗದೆ ಇರುವುದು.”
Your offspring also would have been as the sand and the descendants of your body like its grains. His name would not be cut off nor destroyed from before me.”
20 ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿರಿ. ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿರಿ. ಹರ್ಷಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದ ಇದನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿರಿ. ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಪ್ರಚಾರಪಡಿಸಿರಿ. “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ,” ಎಂದು ನೀವು ಹೇಳಿರಿ.
Leave Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! With the sound of joyful shouting announce this, tell it even to the end of the earth; say, “The LORD has redeemed his servant Jacob!”
21 ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ದಾಹವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ದೇವರು ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ನೀರನ್ನು ಬಂಡೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹರಿಸಿದರು. ದೇವರು ಬಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ಸೀಳಲು, ನೀರು ರಭಸದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂತು.
They didn’t thirst when he led them through the deserts. He caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them. He also split the rock and the waters gushed out.
22 “ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
“There is no peace”, says the LORD, “for the wicked.”
