ಯೆಹೆಜ್ಕೇಲನು 1
1 ನಾನು ಸೆರೆಯವರ ಜೊತೆ ಕೆಬಾರ್ ನದಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ ಮೂವತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ, ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ, ಐದನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕಾಶ ತೆರೆಯಿತು. ನಾನು ದೇವರ ದರ್ಶನಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು.
Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth [month], on the fifth of the month, as I was among the captives by the river Chebar, the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
2 ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಐದನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀನನ ಸೆರೆಯ ಐದನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ,
On the fifth of the month, (it was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity, )
3 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಯರ ದೇಶದ ಕೆಬಾರ್ ನದಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಬೂಜಿಯ ಮಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಯಾಜಕ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೆಜ್ಕೇಲನಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕೈ ಅವನ ಮೇಲಿತ್ತು.
the word of Jehovah came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of Jehovah was there upon him.
4 ನಾನು ಕಂಡ ದರ್ಶನ ಹೀಗಿತ್ತು: ಇಗೋ, ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿ ಬೀಸಿತು. ಎಡೆಬಿಡದೆ ಝಗಝಗಿಸುವ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ಮಹಾ ಮೇಘವೊಂದು ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು. ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಮಿಂಚು ಹೊಳೆಯಿತು. ಅದರ ನಡುವೆ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಹೊಳೆಯುವ ಲೋಹ ಬೆಳಗಿತು.
And I looked, and behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the look of glowing brass, out of the midst of the fire.
5 ಅದರ ಮಧ್ಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಜೀವಿಗಳ ರೂಪವು ಹೊರಟಿತು. ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ರೂಪವಿತ್ತು.
Also out of the midst thereof, the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man.
6 ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮುಖಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನಾಲ್ಕು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು.
And every one had four faces, and every one of them had four wings.
7 ಅವುಗಳ ಕಾಲುಗಳು ನೆಟ್ಟಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವುಗಳ ಅಂಗಾಲು ಕರುವಿನ ಪಾದದ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕಂಚಿಗೆ ಮೆರುಗು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವು ಥಳಥಳಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.
And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot; and they sparkled as the look of burnished brass.
8 ಅವುಗಳ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಕ್ಕೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಕೈಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು. ಆ ನಾಲ್ಕಕ್ಕೂ ಮುಖಗಳು, ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು.
And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings:
9 ಅವುಗಳ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳು ಪರಸ್ಪರರ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದೂ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ತಿರುಗದೆ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.
10 ಅವುಗಳ ಮುಖಗಳು ಹೀಗಿದ್ದವು: ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದರ ಮುಂದಿನ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮುಖಗಳು ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮುಖದಂತಿತ್ತು; ಬಲಗಡೆಯ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮುಖಗಳು ಸಿಂಹದ ಮುಖದಂತಿತ್ತು; ಎಡಗಡೆಯ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮುಖಗಳು ಹೋರಿಯ ಮುಖದಂತಿತ್ತು; ಹಿಂದಿನ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮುಖಗಳು ಗರುಡಪಕ್ಷಿಯ ಮುಖದಂತಿತ್ತು.
And the likeness of their faces was the face of a man; and they four had the face of a lion on the right side; and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four had also the face of an eagle.
11 ಅವುಗಳ ಮುಖಗಳು ಹೀಗಿದ್ದವು. ಅವುಗಳ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದವು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದಕ್ಕೂ ಎರಡು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳಿದ್ದು, ಒಂದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದವು. ಇನ್ನೆರಡು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳು ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದವು.
And their faces and their wings were parted above; two [wings] of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.
12 ಅವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ನೆಟ್ಟಗೆ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದವು. ಅವುಗಳ ಆತ್ಮವು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕಿತ್ತೋ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೇ ಹೋದವು, ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಅವು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
And they went every one straight forward: whither the Spirit was to go, they went; they turned not when they went.
13 ಆ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕಾಂತಿಯೊಂದು ಉರಿಯುವ ಕೆಂಡಗಳೋ, ಪಂಜುಗಳೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು. ಅದು ಆ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಓಲಾಡುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಉರಿ ತೇಜೋಮಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಮಿಂಚುಗಳು ಹೊರಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.
And as for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, as the appearance of torches: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright; and out of the fire went forth lightning.
14 ಆ ಜೀವಿಗಳು ಮಿಂಚಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಓಡುತ್ತಾ ತಿರುಗಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದವು.
And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.
15 ಆಗ ನಾನು ಆ ಜೀವಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಾಗಿ, ಜೀವಿಗಳ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಂದು ಚಕ್ರವು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮುಖವುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದೆನು.
And I looked at the living creatures, and behold, one wheel upon the earth beside the living creatures, toward their four faces.
16 ಆ ಚಕ್ರಗಳ ಆಕಾರವೂ, ಅವುಗಳ ಕೆಲಸವೂ ಪೀತರತ್ನದ ವರ್ಣದ ಹಾಗಿದೆ. ಆ ನಾಲ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದೇ ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಅವುಗಳ ಆಕಾರವೂ, ಅವುಗಳ ಕೆಲಸವೂ ಚಕ್ರದ ಮಧ್ಯದೊಳಗೆ ಚಕ್ರವು ಇದ್ದ ಹಾಗಿತ್ತು.
The appearance of the wheels and their work was as the look of a chrysolite; and they four had one likeness; and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
17 ಅವು ಚಲಿಸುವಾಗ ತಮ್ಮ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಕ್ಕೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೋದವು ಮತ್ತು ಅವು ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ತಿರುಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not when they went.
18 ಅವುಗಳ ಚಕ್ರಗಳು ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಭಯಂಕರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದವು. ಆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಚಕ್ರಗಳ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಅನೇಕ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿದ್ದವು.
As for their rims, they were high and dreadful; and they four had their rims full of eyes round about.
19 ಜೀವಿಗಳು ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಆ ಚಕ್ರಗಳು ಅವುಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಹೋದವು. ಆ ಜೀವಿಗಳು ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಏಳುವಾಗ, ಚಕ್ರಗಳು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಏಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.
And when the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
20 ಆತ್ಮವು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕಿತ್ತೋ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೇ ಅವುಗಳು ಹೋದವು. ಚಕ್ರಗಳು ಸಹ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆದುರಾಗಿ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಏಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಚಕ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಜೀವಿಯ ಆತ್ಮವು ಇತ್ತು.
Whithersoever the Spirit was to go, they went, thither would [their] spirit go; and the wheels were lifted up along with them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
21 ಆ ಜೀವಿಗಳು ಮುಂದುವರಿಯುವಾಗ, ಚಕ್ರಗಳೂ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು. ಅವು ನಿಂತು ಹೋಗುವಾಗ, ಇವೂ ನಿಂತು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು. ಅವು ನೆಲದಿಂದ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಏಳುವಾಗ, ಚಕ್ರಗಳೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ಆತ್ಮ ಚಕ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇತ್ತು.
When those went, they went; and when those stood, they stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up along with them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
22 ಜೀವಿಯ ತಲೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಗಗನ ಮಂಡಲ ವಿಶಾಲ ರೂಪವು ವಜ್ರದಂತಿತ್ತು. ಮತ್ತು ಅದು ಅದ್ಭುತವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
And there was the likeness of an expanse over the heads of the living creature, as the look of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.
23 ಆ ಗಗನ ಮಂಡಲದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಆ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳು ಒಂದರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಒಂದರಂತೆ ಚಾಚಿದವು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಜೀವಿಗೆ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಎರಡೆರಡು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳಿದ್ದವು.
And under the expanse were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two which covered on this side, and every one had two which covered on that side their bodies.
24 ಅವು ಚಲಿಸುವಾಗ, ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದೆನು. ಅದು ಜಲಪ್ರವಾಹದ ಶಬ್ದದಂತೆಯೂ, ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರ ಧ್ವನಿಯ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ, ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಶಬ್ದದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇತ್ತು. ಅವು ನಿಲ್ಲುವಾಗ ಅವುಗಳ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇಳಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.
And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, a tumultuous noise, as the noise of a host: when they stood, they let down their wings;
25 ಅವುಗಳು ನಿಂತು, ತಮ್ಮ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇಳಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಅವುಗಳ ತಲೆಗಳ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಗಗನ ಮಂಡಲದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಶಬ್ದವಾಯಿತು.
and there was a voice from above the expanse that was over their heads. When they stood, they let down their wings.
26 ಅವುಗಳ ತಲೆಗಳ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಗಗನ ಮಂಡಲದ ಮೇಲ್ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಲಮಣಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರುವ ಒಂದು ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವಿತ್ತು. ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸುವ ಒಂದು ರೂಪವೂ ಇತ್ತು.
And above the expanse that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone; and upon the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.
27 ಸೊಂಟದ ಹಾಗೆ ತೋರುವ ಆತನ ಮಧ್ಯಭಾಗದಿಂದ ಮೇಲ್ಗಡೆ ಲೋಹವು ಥಳಥಳಿಸುತ್ತದೋ, ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಆ ರೂಪದೊಳಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿಸುತ್ತದೋ ಎಂಬಂತಿರುವ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕಂಡೆನು.
And I saw as the look of glowing brass, as the appearance of fire, within it round about; from the appearance of his loins and upward, and from the appearance of his loins and downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.
28 ಮಳೆ ಬೀಳುವ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಘದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಳೆಬಿಲ್ಲು ಹೇಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸುವುದೋ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶವು ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು. ಇದೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ರೂಪದ ದರ್ಶನವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕಂಡಾಗ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಕೆಳಗೆಮಾಡಿ ಬಿದ್ದೆನು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಒಬ್ಬನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದೆನು.
As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Jehovah. And when I saw, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.
