ಕೊರಿಂಥದವರಿಗೆ ಬರೆದ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ 6

1 ನೀವು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರೆಂದು ದೇವರ ಜೊತೆಕೆಲಸದವರಾದ ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ,

And working together also we call upon [you] that ye receive not in vain the grace of God —

2 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆ, “ಪ್ರಸನ್ನತೆಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಲಾಲಿಸಿದೆನು. ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು,” ಇಗೋ, ಇದೇ ದೇವರ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯ ಕಾಲ, ಈಗಲೇ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ದಿನ.

for He saith, 'In an acceptable time I did hear thee, and in a day of salvation I did help thee, lo, now [is] a well-accepted time; lo, now, a day of salvation,' —

3 ನಮ್ಮ ಸೇವೆಯು ಅಪವಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗದಂತೆ ನಾವು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಅಡ್ಡಿಯನ್ನು ಒಡ್ಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

in nothing giving any cause of offence, that the ministration may be not blamed,

4 ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ, ಸರ್ವ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ದೇವರ ಸೇವಕರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆಂದು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಕಷ್ಟ, ಸಂಕಟ ತೊಂದರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾ ದೀರ್ಘತಾಳ್ಮೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

but in everything recommending ourselves as God's ministrants; in much patience, in tribulations, in necessities, in distresses,

5 ನಾವು ಪೆಟ್ಟು ತಿಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ಸೆರೆವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ಕಲಹಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ಶ್ರಮೆಪಟ್ಟು ದುಡಿದಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿದ್ರೆಗೆಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ಊಟವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಹಸಿದಿದ್ದೇವೆ,

in stripes, in imprisonments, in insurrections, in labours, in watchings, in fastings,

6 ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ಶುದ್ಧ ಮನಸ್ಸು, ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆ, ಸಹನೆಯು ಮತ್ತು ದಯೆಯಿಂದಕೂಡಿ, ನಿಷ್ಕಪಟ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

in pureness, in knowledge, in long-suffering, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in love unfeigned,

7 ಸತ್ಯಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ, ದೇವರ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ, ಎಡಬಲಗೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿಯ ಆಯುಧಗಳೂ

in the word of truth, in the power of God, through the armour of the righteousness, on the right and on the left,

8 ಮಾನ ಅವಮಾನಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ಅಪಕೀರ್ತಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಸತ್ಯವಂತರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಮೋಸಗಾರರೂ ಎಂದೆಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

through glory and dishonour, through evil report and good report, as leading astray, and true;

9 ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಸಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ನಾವು ಜೀವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ನಾವು ಪೆಟ್ಟು ತಿಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ಕೊಲೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

as unknown, and recognized; as dying, and lo, we live; as chastened, and not put to death;

10 ದುಃಖ ಪಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಹರ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆವು, ಬಡವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗಲೂ ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆವು, ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲದವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಪಡೆದವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

as sorrowful, and always rejoicing; as poor, and making many rich; as having nothing, and possessing all things.

11 ಕೊರಿಂಥದವರೇ, ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಚ್ಚುಮರೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡೆವು, ನಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿಶಾಲವಾಗಿ ತೆರೆದಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

Our mouth hath been open unto you, O Corinthians, our heart hath been enlarged!

12 ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಡೆಗಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ನಮಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ye are not straitened in us, and ye are straitened in your [own] bowels,

13 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದಂತೆ ನೀವೂ ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿರಿ.

and [as] a recompense of the same kind, (as to children I say [it], ) be ye enlarged — also ye!

14 ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಪಾಲುಗಾರರಾಗಬೇಡಿರಿ. ನೀತಿಗೂ ಅನೀತಿಗೂ ಸಮಾನವೆಲ್ಲಿ? ಅಥವಾ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೂ ಕತ್ತಲೆಗೂ ಅನ್ಯೋನ್ಯತೆಯೇನು?

Become not yoked with others — unbelievers, for what partaking [is there] to righteousness and lawlessness?

15 ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿಗೂ ಪಿಶಾಚನಿಗೂ ಐಕ್ಯತೆಯೇನು? ಅಥವಾ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿಗೂ ಅವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿಗೂ ಹುದುವಾಗಿರುವುದೇನು?

and what fellowship to light with darkness? and what concord to Christ with Belial? or what part to a believer with an unbeliever?

16 ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೂ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೂ ಏನು ಒಪ್ಪಂದ? ನಾವು ಜೀವಿಸುವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ: “ನಾನು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಾಸಿಸುವೆನು, ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗಾಡುವೆನು. ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವೆನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾಗಿರುವರು.”

and what agreement to the sanctuary of God with idols? for ye are a sanctuary of the living God, according as God said — 'I will dwell in them, and will walk among [them], and I will be their God, and they shall be My people,

17 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, “ಅವರ ನಡುವೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಬಂದು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿರಿ. ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಯಾವುದನ್ನೂ ಮುಟ್ಟದಿರಿ, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.”

wherefore, come ye forth out of the midst of them, and be separated, saith the Lord, and an unclean thing do not touch, and I — I will receive you,

18 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, “ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿರುವೆನು. ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಪುತ್ರಪುತ್ರಿಯರು ಆಗಿರುವಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತ ಆಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

and I will be to you for a Father, and ye — ye shall be to Me for sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.'
