ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 135

1 ೧ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ! ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ. ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸೇವಕರೇ,

Praise ye Yah, Praise ye the Name of Yahweh, Praise, O ye servants of Yahweh;

2 ೨ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಅಂಗಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವವರೇ, ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸಿರಿ.

Who stand In the house of Yahweh, In the courts of the house of our God.

3 ೩ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ! ಯೆಹೋವನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು. ಆತನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನು ಕೃಪಾಪೂರ್ಣನು.

Praise ye Yah, For good is Yahweh, Sing praises to his Name, For it is full of delight;

4 ೪ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯಾಕೋಬನ ವಂಶದವರನ್ನು ತನಗಾಗಿಯೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಕೀಯ ಜನರನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನಲ್ಲಾ.

For, Jacob, hath Yah chosen for himself, Israel, for his own treasure.

5 ೫ ಯೆಹೋವನು ದೊಡ್ಡವನೆಂದೂ, ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವನೆಂದೂ ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

For, I, know that great is Yahweh, yea, our Lord, is beyond all gods.

6 ೬ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಸಮುದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಬೇರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಲರಾಶಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತನಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

Whatsoever Yahweh hath pleased, he hath done, —in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas, and all resounding deeps:

7 ೭ ಆತನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಮೋಡಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಲೇರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಮಳೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಿಂಚನ್ನು ಹೊಳೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತನ್ನ ಉಗ್ರಾಣದಿಂದ ಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಬೀಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

Causing vapours to ascend from the end of the earth, —Lightnings for the rain, hath he made, bringing forth wind out of his treasuries.

8 ೮ ಆತನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಪಶುಗಳವರೆಗೂ, ಚೊಚ್ಚಲುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು.

Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man, and of beast;

9 ೯ ಐಗುಪ್ತವೇ, ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಫರೋಹನಿಗೂ, ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೂ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು, ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದನು.

Sent signs and wonders into thy midst, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.

10 ೧೦ ಆತನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು; ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ರಾಜರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದನು.

Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings:

11 ೧೧ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನೂ, ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಓಗನೂ ಇದ್ದರು. ಆತನು ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

Sihon, king of the Amorites, and Og, king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan;

12 ೧೨ ಅವರ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ಆತನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗೆ ಅದು ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.

And gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his people.

13 ೧೩ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ನಾಮವು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದದ್ದು; ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ತಲತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲು ಯೋಗ್ಯನಾಗಿರುತ್ತೀ.

O Yahweh! thy Name, is age-abiding, —O Yahweh! thy memorial, is to generation after generation.

14 ೧೪ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವನು, ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸುವನು.

For Yahweh will vindicate his people, —and, on his servants, have compassion.

15 ೧೫ ಅನ್ಯಜನಗಳ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬಂಗಾರದವುಗಳೇ; ಅವು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಕೈಕೆಲಸವಷ್ಟೇ.

The idols of the nations, are silver and gold, the work of the hands of men:

16 ೧೬ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಾಯಿದ್ದರೂ ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಕಣ್ಣಿದ್ದರೂ ನೋಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,

A mouth, have they, but they speak not, Eyes, have they, but they see not;

17 ೧೭ ಕಿವಿಯಿದ್ದರೂ ಕೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವುಗಳ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ವಾಸವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.

Ears, have they, but they hear not, Nose, —there is no breath in their mouth.

18 ೧೮ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರು, ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಡುವವರು ಅವುಗಳಂತೆಯೇ.

Like unto them, shall be they who make them, every one who trusteth in them.

19 ೧೯ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ; ಆರೋನನ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ.

O house of Israel! bless Yahweh, O house of Aaron! bless Yahweh;

20 ೨೦ ಲೇವಿಯ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ; ಯೆಹೋವನ ಭಕ್ತರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ.

O house of Levi! bless Yahweh, Ye that revere Yahweh! bless Yahweh.

21 ೨೧ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಚೀಯೋನಿನ ದೇವರಿಗೆ, ಕೀರ್ತಿ ಉಂಟಾಗಲಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ!

Blessed be Yahweh out of Zion, Who inhabiteth Jerusalem, Praise ye Yah!
