ಪ್ರಲಾಪಗಳು 3

1 ೧ ಯೆಹೋವನ ರೌದ್ರದಂಡದ ಪೆಟ್ಟನ್ನು ತಿಂದವನು ನಾನೇ.

I am the man that has seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.

2 ೨ ಆತನೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಬೆಳಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಕತ್ತಲಲ್ಲೇ ನಡೆಯಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

He has led me and caused me to walk in darkness, and not in light.

3 ೩ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

Surely against me he turns his hand again and again all the day.

4 ೪ ನನ್ನ ಮಾಂಸಚರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕ್ಷೀಣಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ;

My flesh and my skin he has made old; he has broken my bones.

5 ೫ ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲು ಶ್ರಮಸಂಕಟಗಳ ದಿಬ್ಬಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

He has built against me, and surrounded me with bitterness and hardship.

6 ೬ ಕಾರ್ಗತ್ತಲಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಬಹುಕಾಲದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಸತ್ತವರ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ಇದ್ದೇನೆ.

He has made me to dwell in dark places, like those that have been long dead.

7 ೭ ನಾನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗದಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲು ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ, ನನಗೆ ಭಾರವಾದ ಬೇಡಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

He has walled me in, so I can't escape; he has made my chains heavy.

8 ೮ ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ಕೂಗಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಿನ್ನಹಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ.

Yes, when I cry, and call for help, he shuts out my prayer.

9 ೯ ನನ್ನ ದಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡವಾಗಿ ಕೆತ್ತನೆಯ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಗೋಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ, ಹಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುವರಿಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

He has walled up my ways with cut stone; he has made my paths crooked.

10 ೧೦ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಹೊಂಚುಹಾಕುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕರಡಿಯಂತಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಗುಪ್ತಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸಿಂಹದ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

He is to me as a bear lying in wait, as a lion in hiding.

11 ೧೧ ನಾನು ನಡೆದ ದಾರಿಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವನಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

He has obstructed my path, and torn me in pieces; he has made me desolate.

12 ೧೨ ತನ್ನ ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಬೊಗ್ಗಿಸಿ ಬಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

He has bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.

13 ೧೩ ತನ್ನ ಬತ್ತಳಿಕೆಯ ಅಂಬುಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಇರಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

He has caused the arrows of his quiver to pierce my inward parts.

14 ೧೪ ನಾನು ಸ್ವಜನರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಹಾಸ್ಯಾಸ್ಪದನಾಗಿ, ಹಗಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರ ಗೇಲಿಯ ಮಾತು ಮತ್ತು ಹಾಡುಗಳಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

I have become a laughingstock to all peoples, and their song all the day.

15 ೧೫ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಕಹಿಯಾದ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ವಿಷ ಪಾನವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

He has filled me with bitterness, he has given me in full measure wormwood.

16 ೧೬ ನಾನು ಗರಸು ಕಲ್ಲುಚೂರುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಗೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ ನನ್ನ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟು, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಳ್ಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

He has also broken my teeth with gravel; he has pressed me down in the dust.

17 ೧೭ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಹಾಕಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನಕ್ಕೆ ದೂರಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಾನು ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನು ಮರೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

You have removed my soul far away from peace; I have forgotten what prosperity is.

18 ೧೮ “ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ನನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಳಾಯಿತು, ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಯಿತು” ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.

And I said, "My strength and my hope has perished from the LORD."

19 ೧೯ ನಾನು ಅಲೆದು ಕಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೋ, ಕಹಿಯಾದ ನನ್ನ ಆಹಾರಪಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೋ.

Remember my affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.

20 ೨೦ ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ನನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಕುಗ್ಗಿದೆ.

My soul considers them, and is depressed.

21 ೨೧ ಹೀಗಿರಲು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕರುಣೆಯನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಅದರಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯುಂಟಾಗುತ್ತದೆ!

But this I call to my mind; therefore I have hope:

22 ೨೨ ನಾನು ಉಳಿದಿರುವುದು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವ ಆತನ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೇ; ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕೃಪಾವರಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ನಿಂತುಹೋಗವು.

The LORD's faithful love does not cease; his compassion does not fail.

23 ೨೩ ದಿನದಿನವು ಹೊಸಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಒದಗುತ್ತವೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತಿಕೆಯು ದೊಡ್ಡದು!

They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

24 ೨೪ “ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ನನ್ನ ಪಾಲು, ಆದಕಾರಣ ಆತನನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವೆನು” ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಾತ್ಮವು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.

"The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in him."

25 ೨೫ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವವರಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಹುಡುಕುವವರಿಗೂ ಮಹೋಪಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul that seeks him.

26 ೨೬ ಯೆಹೋವನ ರಕ್ಷಣಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಎದುರುನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಶಾಂತವಾಗಿ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೇಯದು.

It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

27 ೨೭ ಯೌವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೊಗಹೊರುವುದು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಹಿತಕರ.

It is good for a man that he bear the yoke while he is young.

28 ೨೮ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಹೊರಿಸಿದವನು ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ಎಂದು ಅವನು ಒಂಟಿಗನಾಗಿ ಕುಳಿತು ಮೌನವಾಗಿರಲಿ.

Let him sit alone and keep silence when he is disciplining him.

29 ೨೯ ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದ ಸುಗತಿಯಾದೀತೆಂಬ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಕೊಳಕಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಲಿ.

Let him put his mouth to the dust, there may yet be hope.

30 ೩೦ ಹೊಡೆಯುವವನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೆನ್ನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವಮಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊಟ್ಟೆತುಂಬಾ ತಿನ್ನಲಿ.

Let him give his cheek to him who strikes him; let him be filled with insults.

31 ೩೧ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿರಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಕೈ ಬಿಡುವವನಲ್ಲ.

For the LORD will not reject forever.

32 ೩೨ ಆತನು ವ್ಯಥೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದರೇನು, ತನ್ನ ಕೃಪಾತಿಶಯದಿಂದ ಕನಿಕರಿಸುವನು.

For though he may cause grief, yet he will have compassion according to the abundance of his loving kindness.

33 ೩೩ ನರಜನ್ಮದವರನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸಿ, ವ್ಯಥೆಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲ.

For he is not predisposed to bring affliction or suffering to human beings.

34 ೩೪ ಲೋಕದ ಸೆರೆಯವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ತುಳಿದುಬಿಡುವುದೂ,

To crush under foot all the prisoners of the earth;

35 ೩೫ ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದೂ,

to deprive a man of justice before the face of the Most High,

36 ೩೬ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿ ತೀರಿಸುವುದೂ, ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಾರನೇ?

to subvert a man in his cause, the LORD does not approve.

37 ೩೭ ಕರ್ತನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾರ ಮಾತು ಸಾರ್ಥಕವಾದೀತು?

Who can speak a thing and have it come to pass, unless the LORD has commanded it?

38 ೩೮ ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಮಾತಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಮೇಲು ಮತ್ತು ಕೇಡುಗಳು ಸಂಭವಿಸುತ್ತವಲ್ಲಾ.

Doesn't both calamity and good come out of the mouth of the Most High?

39 ೩೯ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಜೀವ ವರವಿರಲು ತನ್ನ ಪಾಪದ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗಾಗಿ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟುವುದೇಕೆ?

Why does a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?

40 ೪೦ ನಮ್ಮ ನಡತೆಯನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸಿ, ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ.

Let us examine and search our ways, and return to the LORD.

41 ೪೧ ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳೊಡನೆ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನೂ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ ಸ್ತುತಿಸೋಣ.

Let us lift up our heart with our hands to God in the heavens.

42 ೪೨ “ನಾವು ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿ ದ್ರೋಹಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ನೀನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.

We have transgressed and have rebelled, and you have not forgiven.

43 ೪೩ ನೀನು ರೋಷವನ್ನು ಹೊದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ; ಕನಿಕರಿಸದೆ ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದೀ.

You have covered yourself with anger and pursued us; you killed without sparing.

44 ೪೪ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯು ನಿನಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಬಾರದೆಂದು ಮೋಡವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀ.

You have covered yourself with a cloud, so that no prayer can pass through.

45 ೪೫ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಸವನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಲಸನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಹಾಕಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ.

You have made us rubbish and refuse in the midst of the peoples.

46 ೪೬ ನಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.

All our enemies have opened their mouth wide against us.

47 ೪೭ ಭಯವೂ, ಗುಂಡಿಯೂ, ಸಂಹಾರವೂ ಮತ್ತು ಭಂಗವೂ ನಮಗೆ ಕಾದಿವೆ.”

Fear and the pit have come on us, devastation and destruction.

48 ೪೮ ಸ್ವಜನರು ನಾಶವಾದ ಕಾರಣ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಹೊಳೆಹೊಳೆಯಾಗಿ ಹರಿಯುವುದು.

Streams of tears run down from my eyes because of the destruction of the daughter of my people.

49 ೪೯ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ನೋಡುವ ತನಕ

My tears flow and do not cease, without respite,

50 ೫೦ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಅಶ್ರುಧಾರೆ ಸುರಿಸುವುದನ್ನು, ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಬಿಡದು.

until the LORD looks down and sees from heaven.

51 ೫೧ ನನ್ನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಕನ್ಯೆಯರಿಗಾಗಿ ಅಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಾನು ಕಣ್ಣುರಿಯಿಂದ ಪೀಡಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

My eyes bring my soul grief, because of all the daughters of my city.

52 ೫೨ ನಿಷ್ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳು ಪಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆತುರದಿಂದ ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿದರು.

They have chased me relentlessly like a bird, those who are my enemies without cause.

53 ೫೩ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೆಲಮಾಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿಸಿ ಕಲ್ಲುಮುಚ್ಚಿ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟರು

They have cut off my life in a pit, and have cast a stone on me.

54 ೫೪ ಪ್ರವಾಹವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಣುಗಿಸಿತು; ಆಗ ಸತ್ತೆನು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.

Waters flowed over my head; I said, 'I am finished.'

55 ೫೫ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಅಗಾಧವಾದ ನೆಲಮಾಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರೆತ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದೆನು.

I called on your name, LORD, out of the depths of the pit.

56 ೫೬ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಿ; ನನ್ನ ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಮೊರೆಗೂ ಕಿವಿಯನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ!

You heard my voice; do not hide your ear at my sighs, to my cry.

57 ೫೭ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು “ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ” ಎಂದು ಅಭಯವಚನ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

You drew near in the day that I called on you; you said, "Do not be afraid."

58 ೫೮ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿದ್ದೀ.

LORD, you have taken up the case for my soul; you have redeemed my life.

59 ೫೯ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನಗಾದ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀ, ನನಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸು.

You have seen, LORD, the wrong done to me; judge my case.

60 ೬೦ ನನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ತೀರಿಸಿದ ಹಗೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಯುಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀಯಲ್ಲಾ.

You have seen all their vengeance and all their plots against me.

61 ೬೧ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ದೂಷಣೆಯೂ, ನನ್ನ ಹಾನಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಗಳೂ,

You have heard their insults, LORD, and all their plots against me.

62 ೬೨ ನಿತ್ಯ ನಡಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ತಂತ್ರೋಪಾಯವೂ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಎದುರಾಳಿಗಳ ನಿಂದೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿವೆಯಷ್ಟೆ.

The lips of those that rose up against me, and their plots against me all day long.

63 ೬೩ ಅವರು ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ, ಏಳಲಿ ನೋಡುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರು; ನಾನು ಅವರ ಗೇಲಿಯ ಹಾಡಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

Look their sitting down, and their rising up; I am their mocking song.

64 ೬೪ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಅವರ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವಿ;

You will render to them what they deserve, LORD, according to the work of their hands.

65 ೬೫ ಅವರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಶಾಪವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲಿರಲಿ!

You will give them hardness of heart as your curse to them.

66 ೬೬ ನೀನು ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಕೆಲಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಉಳಿಯದಂತೆ ಅಳಿಸಿಬಿಡುವಿ.

You will pursue them in anger, and destroy them from under the heavens of the LORD.
