ಯೆಶಾಯನು 24

1 ೧ ಇಗೋ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಬರಿದುಮಾಡಿ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಜನಮಾಡಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ವಿಕಾರಪಡಿಸಿ, ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಚದುರಿಸಿಬಿಡುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

Lo! Yahweh emptying the earth and laying it waste, —And he will overturn the face thereof, And scatter them who dwell therein.

2 ೨ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳು ಯಾಜಕ, ದಾಸ ಯಜಮಾನ, ದಾಸಿ, ಯಜಮಾನಿ, ಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು, ಮಾರುವವನು, ಸಾಲ ಕೊಡುವವನು ಸಾಲ ಪಡೆಯುವವನು, ಬಡ್ಡಿ ಪಡೆಯುವವನು ಬಡ್ಡಿ ತೆರುವವನು, ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಒಂದೇ ಗತಿಯಾಗುವುದು.

And it shall be—As the people, so, the priest, As the servant, so his lord, As the maid, so, her mistress, —As the buyer, so, the seller, As the lender, so, the borrower, As the debtor, so! his creditor.

3 ೩ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಬಟ್ಟಬರಿದಾಗುವುದು, ಅದು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸುಲಿಗೆಯಾಗುವುದು, ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ಇದನ್ನು ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

Emptied—emptied—shall be the earth yea pillaged—pillaged, —For, Yahweh, hath spoken this word.

4 ೪ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಪ್ರಲಾಪಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಳಲಿದೆ, ಲೋಕವು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋಗಿದೆ, ಲೋಕದ ಉನ್ನತರು ಕಂಗೆಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Mourneth, fadeth, the earth Languisheth, fadeth, the world, —Languished have the lofty of the people of the earth.

5 ೫ ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ದೈವಾಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ, ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿ, ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಭಂಗಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಅವರ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಿಂದ ಅಪವಿತ್ರವಾಯಿತು.

Yea the earth itself is profaned under them who dwell therein, —For they have Set aside laws, Gone beyond statute, Broken an age-abiding covenant.

6 ೬ ಆದಕಾರಣ ಶಾಪವು ಲೋಕವನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ, ಅಲ್ಲಿನವರು ದಂಡನೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಸುಟ್ಟುಹೋಗಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಉಳಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

For this cause, a curse, hath devoured the earth, And punished are the dwellers therein, —For this cause, are burned the inhabitants of the earth, And the men left remaining—are few.

7 ೭ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವು ಬತ್ತಿ ಹೋಗುವುದು, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಬಳ್ಳಿಯು ಕ್ಷೀಣಿಸುವುದು, ಹರ್ಷ ಹೃದಯರೆಲ್ಲಾ ನರಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Mourneth the new wine. Withereth the vine, —Sighing are all the merryhearted:

8 ೮ ದಮ್ಮಡಿಗಳ ಉತ್ಸಾಹವು ಮುಗಿದಿದೆ, ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಗಳ ಕೋಲಾಹಲವು ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿದೆ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿಯ ಆನಂದವು ಅಡಗಿದೆ.

Ceased hath the mirth of timbrels, Ended is the noise of the uproarious, —Ceased hath the mirth of the lyre:

9 ೯ ಇನ್ನು ಗಾನದೊಡನೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯರು, ಮದ್ಯವು ಕುಡಿಯುವವರಿಗೆ ಕಹಿಯಾಗುವುದು.

With a song, they drink not wine, —Bitter is strong drink, to them who drink it:

10 ೧೦ ಹಾಳುಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗಿದೆ, ಯಾರೂ ಹೋಗದಂತೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮನೆಯೂ ಮುಚ್ಚಿದೆ.

Broken down is the city of desolation, —Shut up every house that it cannot be entered.

11 ೧೧ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಂದ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಚುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಉಲ್ಲಾಸವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿದೆ; ಲೋಕದ ಸಡಗರವು ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ತೊಲಗಿದೆ.

There is an outcry concerning wine in the streets, —Darkened is all joy, Departed the gladness of the earth.

12 ೧೨ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಹಾಳೂರಾಗಿ ಉಳಿದಿದೆ; ನಾಶವು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಬಡಿದಿದೆ.

There is left in the city. desolation, —And to ruins, have been broken the gate.

13 ೧೩ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯ ಮರವನ್ನು ಕಡಿದ ಬಳಿಕ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಸುಗ್ಗಿಯು ತೀರಿದ ನಂತರ ಉಳಿದ ಕಾಯಿಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಭೂಮಂಡಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಉಳಿದಿರುವುದು.

When, thus, it shall be in the earth in the midst of the peoples, [There shall be] like the shaking of an olive-tree, like the going round to pick when closed is the harvest.

14 ೧೪ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಧ್ವನಿ ಎತ್ತಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹಾಡುವರು. ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸುವರು.

They, shall lift up their voice—shall raise a tremulous note, —On account of the splendour of Yahweh, have they made a shrill cry, on the West;

15 ೧೫ ಮೂಡಣದವರೇ, “ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿರಿ. ದ್ವೀಪ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಕೂಗುವರು.

For this cause, In the Regions of Light, give ye glory to Yahweh, —In the Coastlands of the Sea, unto the Name of Yahweh. God of Israel,

16 ೧೬ ಭೂಮಂಡಲದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯಿಂದ, “ನೀತಿವಂತರಿಗೆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಾಗಲಿ” ಎಂಬ ಗೀತೆಗಳು ನಮಗೆ ಕೇಳಿ ಬಂದಿವೆ, ಆದರೆ “ನಾನಾದರೋ ಕ್ಷಯಿಸಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನನ್ನ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ! ಬಾಧಕರು ಬಾಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಹೌದು, ಬಾಧಕರು ಬಾಧಿಸೇ ಬಾಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ” ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.

From the uttermost part of the earth, melodies, have we heard—Beauty, to the righteous one! But I had said—Ruin to me! Ruin to me! Woe to me! Traitors, have betrayed, Yea traitorously, have traitors betrayed!

17 ೧೭ ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಭಯವೂ, ಗುಂಡಿಯೂ, ಬಲೆಯೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಾದಿವೆ.

Terror and pit and snare, —are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth!

18 ೧೮ ಭಯದ ಸಪ್ಪಳದಿಂದ ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುವವನು ಗುಂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುವನು, ಗುಂಡಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಬರುವವನು ಬಲೆಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವನು. ನೋಡು, ಆಕಾಶದ ದ್ವಾರಗಳು ತೆರೆದಿವೆ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳು ಕಂಪಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ.

So shall it be—He that fleeth from the sound of the terror! shall fall into the pit, And, he that getteth up out of the midst of the pit, shall be captured in the snare, —For, the windows on high, have opened, And shaken are the foundations of earth.

19 ೧೯ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಒಡೆದೇ ಇದೆ, ಬಿರಿದಿದೆ, ಕದಲಿಯೇ ಹೋಗಿದೆ.

The earth breaketh, breaketh, —The earth crasheth, crasheth, The earth tottereth, tottereth;

20 ೨೦ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಅಮಲೇರಿದವನ ಹಾಗೆ ಓಲಾಡುತ್ತದೆ, ಗುಡಿಸಲಂತೆ ತೂಗಾಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಅದರ ದ್ರೋಹವು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಭಾರವಾಗಿದೆ, ಅದು ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದೆ, ತಿರುಗಿ ಏಳುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.

The earth staggereth—staggereth like a drunken man, And rocketh to and fro like a night-hut, —So shall be heavy upon her, her transgression, And she shall fall and not again rise.

21 ೨೧ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲದ ದೂತಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನೂ, ಭೂಮಂಡಲದ ಒಡೆಯರನ್ನೂ ದಂಡಿಸುವನು.

And it shall be in that day, That Yahweh will bring punishment Upon the host of the height in the height, —And upon the kings of the ground on the ground.

22 ೨೨ ಅವರು ಕೈದಿಗಳ ಗುಂಪಿನಂತೆ ನೆಲಮಾಳಿಗೆಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ತಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಡುವರು. ಬಹಳ ದಿನಗಳ ನಂತರ ದಂಡನೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುವರು.

And they shall be swept together in a crowd, fettered for a pit, And shall be lowered into a dungeon, —And, after many days, shall they be punished.

23 ೨೩ ಆಮೇಲೆ ಚಂದ್ರನು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡುವನು, ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಲಜ್ಜೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ಆಳುವನು. ಆತನ ಪರಿವಾರದ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ಪ್ರಭಾವವು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾಗುವುದು.

Then shall blush the silvery moon, Then turn pale the glowing sun, —Because Yahweh of hosts hath become king In Mount Zion And in Jerusalem, And before his Elders in glory,
