ಹೋಶೇಯನು 2
So call your brothers, My People, and your sisters, Compassion.
2 ೨ “ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾದಮಾಡಿ; ಅವಳು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಲ್ಲ, ನಾನು ಅವಳ ಗಂಡನಲ್ಲ. ಅವಳು ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮುಖಸೌಂದರ್ಯದಿಂದ, ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರದ ಬೆಡಗನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ತನಮಧ್ಯದಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿಸಲಿ.
Accuse, accuse your mother: for she is not my wife, and I will not be her husband. Let her put her acts of infidelity out of her sight, and her lovers from between her breasts,
3 ೩ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವಳ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತು, ಅವಳನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದಾಗ ಇದ್ದಂತೆ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುವೆನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಗಾಡಾಗಿಸಿ, ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ತಂದು, ನೀರಡಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಸಾಯಿಸುವೆನು.
else I will strip her bare, expose her as she was on the day of her birth, make her like the wilderness, let her become like a parched land, and let her die of thirst.
And on her children I will have no pity, since they are children of adultery,
5 ೫ ಅವರ ತಾಯಿ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾಳೆ, ಹೆತ್ತವಳು ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೇಡಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ‘ತನಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಅನ್ನ ಪಾನಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಉಣ್ಣೆ ನಾರುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ತೈಲವನ್ನೂ ಪಾನಕಗಳನ್ನೂ ತನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಹಾಗೂ ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಗುವೆನು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.’”
for their mother has become a prostitute, she who conceived them has behaved shamefully. She has said, ‘I will go after my lovers who gave me my bread and my water, my wool, my flax, my oil, and my drink.’
6 ೬ ಹೀಗಿರಲು, ಆಹಾ, ನಾನು ಅವಳ ದಾರಿಗೆ ಮುಳ್ಳುಬೇಲಿ ಹಾಕುವೆನು, ತನಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಹಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯದಂತೆ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಗೋಡೆ ಕಟ್ಟುವೆನು.
That is why I am going to hedge up her ways with thorns, and build a wall about her, so that she cannot find her paths.
7 ೭ ಅವಳು ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದವರನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಹೋದರೂ ಅವರು ಸಿಕ್ಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಗ ಅವಳು, “‘ನಾನು ಮದುವೆಯಾದ ಗಂಡನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗುವೆನು, ಈಗಿನ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಿಂತ ಆಗಿನ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಲೇಸು’ ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಳು.
She will pursue her lovers, but will not overtake them. She will seek them, but not find them. In time she will say, ‘I will go back to my first husband, I was better off then than now.’
8 ೮ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಧಾನ್ಯ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ, ತೈಲಗಳು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ದೊರೆತವುಗಳೆಂದೂ, ಬಾಳನ ಪೂಜೆಗೆ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಬಂಗಾರಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಧಾರಾಳವಾದ ವರವೆಂದೂ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದು.
She herself did not know that it was I who gave her the grain, the sweet wine, and the oil, who lavished on her silver and gold – that they used in worshipping Baal!
9 ೯ ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಧಾನ್ಯ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯಾ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು, ಅವಳ ಮಾನವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಉಣ್ಣೆ, ನಾರುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
So I will take back my grain at the harvest, and my sweet wine in its season. I will withdraw my wool and my flax, given to cover her nakedness;
10 ೧೦ ಈಗ ಅವಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದವರ ಕಣ್ಣೆದುರಿಗೆ ಅವಳ ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೇಡಿತನವನ್ನು ಬೈಲಿಗೆ ತರುವೆನು; ಅವಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಯಾರೂ ಬಿಡಿಸರು.
and so I will strip her naked before her lovers, and no one shall deliver her out of my hand.
11 ೧೧ ನಾನು ಅವಳ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸ, ಹಬ್ಬ, ಹುಣ್ಣಿಮೆ, ಅಮಾವಾಸ್ಯೆ, ಸಬ್ಬತ್ತು, ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ, ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು.
I will end all her celebrations, her yearly feasts, her new moons, and her sabbaths, all her festivals.
12 ೧೨ ಅವಳು ಯಾವ ಅಂಜೂರ ಮತ್ತು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನು ‘ಇವು ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದವರಿಂದಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ’ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಳೋ, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿ ಕಾಡುಗಿಡಗಳ ಗತಿಗೆ ತರುವೆನು; ಅವು ಭೂಜಂತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರವಾಗುವವು.
I will lay waste her vines and her fig trees, of which she says, ‘These are my wages which my lovers have given me.’ I will make them a thicket, and the wild animals will eat them.
13 ೧೩ ಅವಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರೆತು ಮೂಗುತಿ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಒಡವೆಗಳಿಂದ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಶೃಂಗರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಿಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಬಾಳ್ ದೇವತೆಗಳ ಉತ್ಸವ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಧೂಪಹಾಕಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸುವೆನು, ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.”
In this way I will punish her for the days of the Baals, in which she made offerings to them, and decked herself with earrings and jewels, and went after her lovers, but forgot me, – declares the Lord.
So I am going to court her, bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.
15 ೧೫ ಅವಳ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೋಟಗಳನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು. ಆಕೋರಿನ ತಗ್ಗನ್ನೇ ಅವಳ ಸುಖ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ದ್ವಾರವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಯೌವನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಬಂದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಂತೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಯು ಮುಳುಗುವಳು.”
I will give her from there her vineyards, and the valley of Achor as a door of hope. There she will respond as in the days of her youth, as in the days when she came up from the land of Egypt.
At that time, declares the Lord, you will call me your husband, and will no more call me your master.
I will remove the name of the Baals from her mouth, their names never again uttered.
18 ೧೮ ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗಾಗಿ ಭೂಜಂತುಗಳಿಗೂ, ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೂ, ನೆಲದ ಕ್ರಿಮಿಕೀಟಗಳಿಗೂ ನಿಬಂಧನೆಮಾಡಿ ವಿಧಿಸಿ ಬಿಲ್ಲು, ಕತ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಳಗಗಳನ್ನು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ಧ್ವಂಸಪಡಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ನಿರ್ಭಯವಾಗಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
On that day I will make for them a covenant with the wild animals, the birds of the sky, and the creatures that crawl on the earth. I will break the bow and the sword, banish battle from the land, and I will make them lie down in safety.
19 ೧೯ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ವರಿಸುವೆನು; ಹೌದು, ನೀತಿ, ನ್ಯಾಯ, ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ದಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ವರಿಸುವೆನು.
I will take you for my wife forever, I will take you for my wife in righteousness, in justice, in kindness, and in mercy.
I will take you for my wife in faithfulness, and you will know the Lord.
21 ೨೧ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು, “ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಒಲುಮೆ ತೋರಿಸುವೆನು. ಬೇಡುವ ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಒಲಿಯಲು, ಬೇಡುವ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಅದು ಒಲಿಯುವುದು.
On that day I will answer – declares the Lord, I will answer the empty skies, and they will answer the dry earth.
The earth will answer with grain, and new wine and oil, and they will answer Jezreel,
23 ೨೩ ನಾನು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಜ್ರೇಲನ್ನು ನನಗಾಗಿ ಬಿತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು, ಲೋ ರುಹಾಮಳಿಗೆ ವಾತ್ಸಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವೆನು; ಲೋ ಅಮ್ಮಿಗೆ ‘ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯೇ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವೆನು. ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ‘ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ’ ಎಂದು ಭಜಿಸುವರು” ಎಂದು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
and I will plant her in the land. I will have compassion to No-Compassion, I will say to Not-My-People, ‘You are my people,’ and they will say, ‘You are my God.’
