ಯೆಹೆಜ್ಕೇಲನು 20
1 ೧ ಏಳನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ, ಐದನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡರು.
And it came to pass in the seventh year in the fifth month, on the tent of the month, that there came in men of the elders of Israel to enquire of Yahweh, —and they sat before me.
Then came the word of Yahweh unto me saying: -
3 ೩ “ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನು ಸಂಬೋಧಿಸಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು, ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ‘ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿರೋ? ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ’” ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
Son of man Speak thou with the elders of Israel and say unto them, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, To enquire of me, are ye coming in? As I live, verily I will not be enquired of by you, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
4 ೪ “ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಇವರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಲು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿದೆಯೋ? ಇವರ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ದುರಾಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಇವರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸು,
Wilt thou judge them, wilt thou judge, O son of man? The abominations of their fathers, let them know:
5 ೫ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ‘ಯಾವ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಯಾಕೋಬ ಸಂತಾನದವರಿಗೆ ಮಾತುಕೊಟ್ಟು, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು’ ಎಂದು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿದೆನೋ,
So then thou shalt say unto them Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, In the day when I made choice of Israel, then lifted I up my hand. to the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known to them, in the land of Egypt, - Yea I lifted up my hand to them, saying, I Yahweh, am your God.
6 ೬ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, ‘ಸಕಲ ದೇಶ ಶಿರೋಮಣಿಯಾದ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಉದ್ಧರಿಸಿ ಹಾಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ಜೇನೂ ಹರಿಯುವ ಆ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಸುವೆನು’ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
In that day, lifted I up my hand to them, to bring them forth out of the land of Egypt, —into a land that I had looked out for them flowing with milk and honey, The beauty, it was of all lands,
7 ೭ ‘ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಕಾಣುವ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದ ಅಸಹ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಸಾಡಿಬಿಡಿರಿ, ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊಲಸು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ; ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು’” ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದೆನು.
And I said unto them. Every one the abomination of his eyes, cast ye away, And with the manufactured gods of Egypt, let it not be that ye defile yourselves: I, Yahweh, am your God.
8 ೮ “‘ಅವರಾದರೋ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದರು; ತಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಕಾಣುವ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದ ಅಸಹ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಬಿಸಾಡಿಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆಗ ನಾನು ಇವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದೊಳಗೆ ನನ್ನ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು’ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.
But they rebelled against me And were not willing to hearken unto me, Every man the abominations of their eyes, they cast not away, And the manufactured gods of Egypt, forsook they not; Therefore spake I of pouring out mine indignation upon them to bring mine anger to an end against them, in the midst of the land of Egypt.
9 ೯ ‘ಆದರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಪಾರುಮಾಡುವೆನು ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆನಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂದು ಯೋಚಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ಸುತ್ತಣ ಆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಅಪಕೀರ್ತಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗದಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೇ ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆನು.
Howbeit I wrought with effect, for the sake of mine own Name, that it might not be profaned—before the eyes of the nations in whose midst they were, —before whose eyes I made myself known unto them, by bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt.
Therefore brought I them forth out of the land of Egypt, —and caused them to come into the desert.
Then gave I unto them my statutes, And my regulations, caused I them to know, - By the which the man that doeth them shall live.
12 ೧೨ ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಜನರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಾನೇ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ನನಗೂ, ಅವರಿಗೂ ಗುರುತಾದ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಗುರುತಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದೆನು.
Moreover also my sabbaths, gave I unto them, to become a sign betwixt me and them, —that it might be known that, I, Yahweh, was hallowing them.
13 ೧೩ “‘ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದರು. ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವವರಿಗೆ ಜೀವಾಧಾರವಾದ ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸದೆ ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿದರು, ನಾನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಹೊಲೆಮಾಡಿದರು; ಆಗ ನಾನು ಇವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಣ್ಯದೊಳಗೆ ನನ್ನ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿ ಇವರನ್ನು ಧ್ವಂಸಮಾಡುವೆನು’ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.
But the house of Israel, rebelled against me, in the desert, In my statutes, walked they not, And my regulations, they rejected By the which the man, that doeth them, shall live, My sabbaths also, they profaned exceedingly. Therefore spake I of pouring out mine indignation upon them in the desert, to make an end of them.
14 ೧೪ ‘ಆದರೂ ಯಾವ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪಾರುಮಾಡಿದೆನೋ, ಆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಅಪಕೀರ್ತಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಬಾರದೆಂದು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೇ ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆನು.
Howbeit I wrought with effect for the sake of mine own Name, —that it should not be profaned in the eyes of the nations, in whose eyes I had brought them forth.
15 ೧೫ ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಕಲ ದೇಶ ಶಿರೋಮಣಿಯಾದ ಯಾವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ವಾಗ್ದಾನಮಾಡಿದೆನೋ, ಹಾಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ಜೇನು ಹರಿಯುವ ಆ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
Yet even I lifted up my hand to them. in the desert, — That I would not bring them into the land which I had given to them flowing with milk and honey, The beauty, it was. of all lands:
16 ೧೬ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವು ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಕ್ತರಾಗಿ, ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸದೆ ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿ, ನಾನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
Because my regulations, they had rejected. And as for my statutes, they had not walked therein, My sabbaths also, had they profaned; For after their manufactured gods, their heart had been going.
17 ೧೭ ಆದರೂ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ಕಟಾಕ್ಷವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿತು; ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.’”
Nevertheless mine eye threw a shield over them that they should not be destroyed; So I made not of them a full end in the desert.
18 ೧೮ ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಸಂತಾನದವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸದೆ, ಅವರ ವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ, ಅವರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊಲಸು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇರಬೇಕು.
But I said unto their children in the desert, In the statutes of your fathers, let it not be that ye walk, And their regulations, let it not be that ye observe, — And with their manufactured gods, let it not be that ye defile yourselves.
I, Yahweh, am your God, In my statutes, walk ye, — And my regulations, observe ye and do them;
20 ೨೦ ನಾನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ದಿನಗಳೆಂದು ಆಚರಿಸಿರಿ; ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಎಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಅವು ನಿಮಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ನನಗೂ ಗುರುತಾಗಿರುವುವು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
My sabbaths also, hallow ye, — And they shall become a sign betwixt me and you, That it may be known that I Yahweh am your God.
21 ೨೧ “ಆದರೆ ಆ ಸಂತಾನದವರಾದರೋ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದರು; ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಕೈಗೊಂಡವರಿಗೆ ಜೀವಾಧಾರವಾದ ನನ್ನ ವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು; ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು” ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.
Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me, In my statutes, walked they not, And my regulations, observed they not to do them Wherein the man who shall do them shall live, My sabbaths, they profaned. Therefore spake I of pouring out mine indignation upon them to bring mine anger to an end against them. in the desert.
22 ೨೨ “ಆದರೂ ನಾನು ಯಾವ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪಾರು ಮಾಡಿದೆನೋ ಆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಅಪಕೀರ್ತಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಬಾರದೆಂದು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೇ ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.
Howbeit I withdrew my hand, and wrought with effect for the sake of mine own Name, —that it should not be profaned before the eyes of the nations, before whose eyes I had brought them forth:
23 ೨೩ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆಂದೂ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆಂದೂ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದೆ.
Even, I, lifted up my hand to them in the desert, — That I would disperse them throughout the nations, And scatter them throughout the lands;
24 ೨೪ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ, ನನ್ನ ವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿ ನಾನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಮಾಡಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಣ್ಣುಹಾಕಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದರಿಸಿ, ದೇಶ ದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ಚೆಲ್ಲಾಪಿಲ್ಲಿಯಾಗಿಸುವೆನು.” ಎಂದು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
Because my regulations, had they not done And my statutes, they had rejected, My sabbaths also, they had profaned, - And after the manufactured gods of their fathers, were their eyes turned.
25 ೨೫ “ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಹಿತವಾದ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಜೀವಾಧಾರವಲ್ಲದ ವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದೆನು.
I myself, indeed, suffered them to walk in statutes which were not good, — And regulations in which they could not live.
26 ೨೬ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಆಹುತಿಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬಲಿಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಗೆಡಿಸಿ, ಕೇವಲ ದುರಾವಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ತಂದೆನು.”
Yea I let them defile themselves with their gifts, when they caused every firstborn to pass through the fire, -. that I might make them desolate. To the end they might know that, I, am Yahweh.
27 ೨೭ ಹೀಗಿರಲು, “ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳು, ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ‘ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ದ್ರೋಹವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Therefore speak thou unto the house of Israel Son of man, and say unto them, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, — Yet further in this, did your fathers insult me, by the treachery wherewith they dealt treacherously against me;
28 ೨೮ ನಾನು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸೊಂಪಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮರಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ವಧಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರೇಗಿಸುವ ನೈವೇದ್ಯವನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಸುಗಂಧ ಹೋಮಮಾಡಿ, ಪಾನದ್ರವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸುರಿದು, ಬಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.’
When I brought them into the land as to which I had lifted up mine hand to give it them, then beheld they every high hill and every tangled tree And offered there their sacrifices, And presented there, their provoking gift, And placed there, their satisfying odour, And poured out there, their drink- offerings.
29 ೨೯ ನೀವು ಹೋಗುವ, ‘ಬಾಮಾ ಎಂಬ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಾನ ಇದು ಎಂಥ ಸ್ಥಳ?’” (ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಇಂಥಾ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಾನಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಾಮಾ ಎಂದೇ ಹೆಸರು).
Therefore said I unto them, What! a high-place, whereinto ye are entering? And so the name thereof hath been called High-place, until this day.
30 ೩೦ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು, ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೀವೇ ಹೊಲಸು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀರೋ? ಅವರು ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅಸಹ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ನೀವೂ ಪೂಜಿಸಿ ದೇವದ್ರೋಹ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರೋ?
Therefore say thou unto the house of Israel. Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Is it in the way of your fathers, ye are defiling yourselves, - And after their abominations, that ye are committing lewdness?
31 ೩೧ ನೀವು ಬಲಿಯರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಆಹುತಿಕೊಟ್ಟು ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರೋ? ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರೇ, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮಂಥವರಿಗೆ ದೈವೋತ್ತರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಬಹುದೋ? ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ನಿಮಗೆ ದೈವೋತ್ತರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
Yea when ye lift up your gifts When ye cause your children to pass through the fire, Ye are defiling yourselves unto all your manufactured gods unto this day, And shall, I, be enquired of by you O house of Israel? As I live, Declareth My Lord Yahweh, Surely I will not be enquired of by you.
32 ೩೨ “ನಾವು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಂತೆ, ಅನ್ಯದೇಶಗಳವರಂತೆ ಮರಕಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಬೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ಭಜಿಸುವೆವು ಎಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟುವ ಯೋಚನೆಯು ಖಂಡಿತ ನೆರವೇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.”
And as for that which is rising up on your spirit, it shall, not at all come to pass, In that ye are saying Let us be like the nations Like the families of the lands, By ministering unto Wood and Stone!
33 ೩೩ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ನಾನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಾಹಸ್ತವನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ, ಭುಜಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ, ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ದೊರೆತನ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
As I live, Declareth My Lord Yahweh, Surely, with a strong hand and With an outstretched arm and With outpoured indignation, Will I be king over you;
34 ೩೪ ಹೌದು, ನಾನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಾಹಸ್ತವನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ಭುಜಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ, ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಪಾರುಮಾಡಿ ನೀವು ಚದರಿಹೋಗಿರುವ ದೇಶಗಳಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವೆನು.
And I will bring you forth from among the peoples, And gather you together out of the lands, throughout which ye have been dispersed, With a strong hand and With an outstretched arm, and With outpoured indignation;
And I will bring you into the desert of the peoples, —and will contend with you there, face to face.
36 ೩೬ ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾದಿಸಿದಂತೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ವಾದಿಸುವೆನು” ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
Just as I contended with your fathers in the desert of the land of Egypt, So will I contend with you, Declareth My Lord Yahweh;
37 ೩೭ “ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸುವಂತೆ, ದಂಡನೆಯ ಕೋಲಿನ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಕಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಬಂಧಿಸುವೆನು.
And I will cause you to pass under the rod And will bring you into the bond of the covenant;
38 ೩೮ ನನಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳಾದವರನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುವೆನು; ಅವರು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಪಾರು ಮಾಡಿದರೂ, ಅವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ; ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು” ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವುದು.
And will sever from you those who are rebelling and those who are transgressing against me, Out of the land of their sojournings, will I bring them forth, Yet upon the soil of Israel, shall they not enter, So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh.
39 ೩೯ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರೇ, ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ಹೋಗಿರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಯೇ ಕೇಳುವಿರಿ, ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲಾದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ, ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನೀವು ಅಪಕೀರ್ತಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಮಾಡುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.”
But as for you, O house of Israel Thus, saith my Lord. Yahweh, Go. serve every man his own manufactured gods, Yet afterwards, surely Ye shall be ready to hearken unto me, — And my holy name, shall ye profane no more, With your gifts, and With your manufactured gods.
40 ೪೦ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪರ್ವತಾಗ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವರು; ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನನಾಗುವೆನು, ಅಲ್ಲೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಉತ್ತಮ ನೈವೇದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಮೀಸಲಾದ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
For in my holy mountain. In the mountain of the height of Israel, Declareth, My Lord Yahweh, There shall all the house of Israel serve me, all of it, in the land, There will I accept them, and There, will I seek your heave-offerings and the firstfruits of your gifts, in all your holy things:
41 ೪೧ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಪಾರುಮಾಡಿ, ನೀವು ಚದರಿಹೋಗಿರುವ ದೇಶಗಳಿಂದ ತಂದು ಕೂಡಿಸುವಾಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸುಗಂಧಹೋಮವನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿ, ನಿಮಗೆ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನನಾಗುವೆನು; ಸಕಲ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೆದುರಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ನನ್ನ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
As a satisfying odour, will I accept you, Through my bringing you forth from among the peoples, And gathering you out of the lands, throughout which ye have been dispersed; Thus will I hallow myself in you before the eyes of the nations.
42 ೪೨ ನಾನು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನೋ, ಆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುವಾಗ ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವುದು.
So shall ye know that I am Yahweh, Through my bringing you in unto the soil of Israel, Unto the land as to which I lifted up my hand, to give it unto your fathers.
43 ೪೩ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊಲಸು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಡತೆಯನ್ನೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದುಕೊಂಡು, ನೀವು ನಡೆಸಿರುವ ಸಕಲ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ನೀವೇ ಅಸಹ್ಯಪಡುವಿರಿ.
Then shall ye call to mind. there, your own ways and all your own doings, wherewith ye had defiled yourselves, - And ye shall become loathsome in your own sight, for all your wickednesses, which ye have done.
44 ೪೪ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದುರ್ನಡತೆಗೂ, ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೂ ತಕ್ಕ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸದೆ, ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೇ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವಾಗ ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವುದು” ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh, Through my dealing effectively with you, for the sake of mine own Name, - Not according to your own wicked ways. Nor according to your corrupted doings. O house of Israel, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
Then came the word of Yahweh unto me. saying:
Son of man Set thy face the way towards Teman, And drop thy word against the land of the sun, And prophesy unto the forest of the field of the South;
47 ೪೭ ಆ ವನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸು, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳು, ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ‘ಆಹಾ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತಿಸುವೆನು, ಅದು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಸಿರು ಮರಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಒಣಮರಗಳನ್ನೂ ನುಂಗಿ ಬಿಡುವುದು; ಧಗಧಗಿಸುವ ಉರಿಯು ಆರದೆ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರದವರೆಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮುಖಗಳು ಸುಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗುವವು.
And thou shalt say to the forest of the South Hear the word of Yahweh, — Thus saith My Lord Yahweh-Behold me! kindling in thee a fire. And it shall devour in thee every moist tree and every dry tree. The spreading flame shall not be quenched, Then shall be scorched thereby all faces from south to north;
And all flesh shall see that I. Yahweh have kindled it, - It shall not be quenched.
49 ೪೯ “ಆಗ ನಾನು, ‘ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಇವನು ಒಗಟುಗಾರನಲ್ಲವೇ?’ ಎಂದು ಈ ಜನರು ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ” ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಅರಿಕೆಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
Then said I, Ah! My Lord Yahweh: They are saying of me, Is not he a putter forth of parables?
