ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾಂತ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಭಾಗ 24

1 ೧ ಆರೋನನ ಸಂತಾನದವರೂ ವರ್ಗಗಳಾಗಿ ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು. ಆರೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನಾದಾಬ್, ಅಬೀಹೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಈತಾಮಾರ್ ಎಂಬುವರು.

Now, the sons of Aaron, had their courses, —the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar;

2 ೨ ನಾದಾಬ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಬೀಹೂ ಎಂಬುವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಿಂತ ಮೊದಲೇ ಸತ್ತು ಹೋದುದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನೂ, ಈತಾಮಾರನೂ ಯಾಜಕ ಉದ್ಯೋಗವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

but Nadab and Abihu, died, before their father, and sons, had they none, —but Eleazar and Ithamar became priests;

3 ೩ ದಾವೀದನು ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನ ಸಂತಾನದವನಾದ ಚಾದೋಕನೂ, ಈತಾಮಾರನ ಸಂತಾನದವನಾದ ಅಹೀಮೆಲೆಕನು ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನು ಸರದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡತಕ್ಕ ವರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಿದರು.

and David apportioned to them courses, both to Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and to Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, —by their appointed place in their service.

4 ೪ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನ ಸಂತಾನದ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಈತಾಮಾರ್ಯರಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚೆಂದು ಕಂಡು ಬಂದುದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನರ ಲೆಕ್ಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹದಿನಾರು ವರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಈತಾಮಾರ್ಯರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳನ್ನು ಎಂಟು ವರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿ,

But the sons of Eleazar were found to be more numerous, by the chiefs of their able men, than were the sons of Ithamar, so they divided them, —the sons of Eleazar, had chiefs, of the ancestral house, sixteen, whereas, the sons of Ithamar, had of their ancestral house, eight.

5 ೫ ಈ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಚೀಟು ಹಾಕಿದರು. ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನ ಸಂತಾನದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಈತಾಮಾರನ ಸಂತಾನದವರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪವಿತ್ರಾಲಯದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು, ದೈವಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರೂ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಉಭಯ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ಸಮಾನ ಸ್ಥಾನದವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

They divided them, therefore, by [casting] lots, these with those, —for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, from among the sons of Eleazar, and among the sons of Ithamar.

6 ೬ ನೆತನೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶೆಮಾಯನೆಂಬ ಲೇವಿಯ ಲೇಖಕನು ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ, ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು, ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಚಾದೋಕ್, ಎಬ್ಯಾತಾರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀಮೆಲೆಕ್, ಯಾಜಕರ ಮತ್ತು ಲೇವಿಯರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಇವರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಆ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಬರೆದನು. ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಗದವರಾದ ನಂತರ ಈತಾಮಾರ್ಯರ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಗದವರು ಸೇವಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೇಮಿಸಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಸರದಿಯನ್ನು ಚೀಟಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಗೊತ್ತುಮಾಡಿದರು.

And Shemaiah son of Nethanel the scribe from among the Levites, wrote them down, before the king and the rulers and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, —one ancestral house, was taken for Eleazar, and, was equally taken, for Ithamar.

7 ೭ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಚೀಟು ಯೆಹೋಯಾರೀಬನಿಗೆ, ಎರಡನೆಯದು ಯೆದಾಯನಿಗೆ,

So then the first lot came forth for Jehoiarib, for Jedaiah, the second;

8 ೮ ಮೂರನೆಯದು ಹಾರೀಮನಿಗೆ, ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯದು ಸೆಯೋರೀಮನಿಗೆ,

for Harim, the third, for Seorim, the fourth;

9 ೯ ಐದನೆಯದು ಮಲ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೆ, ಆರನೆಯದು ಮಿಯ್ಯಾಮೀನನಿಗೆ,

for Malchijah, the fifth, for Mijamin, the sixth;

10 ೧೦ ಏಳನೆಯದು ಹಕ್ಕೋಚನಿಗೆ, ಎಂಟನೆಯದು ಅಬೀಯನಿಗೆ,

for Hakkoz, the seventh, for Abijah, the eighth;

11 ೧೧ ಒಂಬತ್ತನೆಯದು ಯೆಷೂವನಿಗೆ, ಹತ್ತನೆಯದು ಶೆಕನ್ಯನಿಗೆ,

for Jeshua, the ninth, for Shecaniah, the tenth;

12 ೧೨ ಹನ್ನೊಂದನೆಯದು ಎಲ್ಯಾಷೀಬನಿಗೆ, ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೆಯದು ಯಾಕೀಮನಿಗೆ,

for Eliashib, the eleventh, for Jakim, the twelfth;

13 ೧೩ ಹದಿಮೂರನೆಯದು ಹುಪ್ಪನಿಗೆ, ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯದು ಎಷೆಬಾಬನಿಗೆ,

for Huppah, the thirteenth, for Jeshebeab, the fourteenth;

14 ೧೪ ಹದಿನೈದನೆಯದು ಬಿಲ್ಗನಿಗೆ, ಹದಿನಾರನೆಯದು ಇಮ್ಮೇರನಿಗೆ,

for Bilgah, the fifteenth, for Immer, the sixteenth;

15 ೧೫ ಹದಿನೇಳನೆಯದು ಹೇಜೀರನಿಗೆ, ಹದಿನೆಂಟನೆಯದು ಹಪ್ಪಿಚ್ಚೇಚನಿಗೆ,

for Hezir, the seventeenth, for Happizzez, the eighteenth;

16 ೧೬ ಹತ್ತೊಂಬತ್ತನೆಯದು ಪೆತಹ್ಯನಿಗೆ, ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತನೆಯದು ಯೆಹೆಜ್ಕೇಲನಿಗೆ,

for Pethahiah, the nineteenth, for Jehezkel, the twentieth;

17 ೧೭ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೊಂದನೆಯದು ಯಾಕೀನನಿಗೆ, ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೆರಡನೆಯದು ಗಾಮೂಲನಿಗೆ,

for Jachin, the twenty-first, for Gamul, the twenty-second;

18 ೧೮ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತ ಮೂರನೆಯದು ದೆಲಾಯನಿಗೆ, ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯದು ಮಾಜ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿತು.

for Delaiah, the twenty-third, for Maaziah, the twenty-fourth.

19 ೧೯ ಆರೋನ್ಯರು ಈ ವರ್ಗ ಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಲೇವಿಯರ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನಾದ ಆರೋನನ ಮುಖಾಂತರವಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.

These, were their appointed places for their service, for entering the house of Yahweh, according to the regulation of them, by the hand of Aaron their father, —just as Yahweh God of Israel, commanded him.

20 ೨೦ ಉಳಿದ ಲೇವಿಯರ ಪಟ್ಟಿ. ಅಮ್ರಾಮನ ಸಂತಾನದವರಾದ ಶೂಬಾಯೇಲನ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹ್ದೆಯಾಹನು.

Now, as for the sons of Levi who remained, of the sons of Amram, Shubael, of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.

21 ೨೧ ರೆಹಬ್ಯನ ಸಂತಾನದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಷ್ಷೀಯನೂ,

Of Rehabiah, of the sons of Rehabiah, the chief Isshiah;

22 ೨೨ ಇಚ್ಹಾರನ ಸಂತಾನದ ಶೆಲೋಮೋತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಹತನೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು.

of the Izharites, Shelomoth, —of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath;

23 ೨೩ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನನ ಸಂತಾನದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರೀಯನು ಪ್ರಧಾನನು, ಅಮರ್ಯನು ಎರಡನೆಯವನು, ಯಹಜೀಯೇಲನು, ಮೂರನೆಯವನು ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಕಮ್ಮಾಮನು ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯವನು,

and, the sons [of Hebron], Jeriah, —Amariah, the second, Jehaziel, the third, Jekameam, the fourth;

24 ೨೪ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಮೀಕನ ಸಂತಾನದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಮೀರನೂ,

the sons of Uzziel, Micah, of the sons of Micah, Shamir;

25 ೨೫ ಮೀಕನ ತಮ್ಮನಾದ ಇಷ್ಷೀಯನ ಸಂತಾನದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಜೆಕರ್ಯನು ಪ್ರಧಾನರು.

the brother of Micah, Isshiah, of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.

26 ೨೬ ಮೆರಾರೀಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮಹ್ಲೀ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಷೀ ಎಂಬುವವರು. ಅವನ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾಜ್ಯನ ವಂಶದವನು ಬೆನೋ.

The sons of Merari, Mahli and Mushi, —the sons of Jaaziah, Beno;

27 ೨೭ ಮೆರಾರೀಯ ಸಂತಾನದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಜ್ಯ, ಬೆನೋ, ಶೋಹಮ್, ಜಕ್ಕೂರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇಬ್ರೀ ಇವರೇ.

the sons of Merari, of Jaaziah, Beno, and Shoham and Zaccur and Ibri:

28 ೨೮ ಮಹ್ಲೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸತ್ತನು.

of Mahli, Eleazar, who had no sons;

29 ೨೯ ಕೀಷನಿಂದ ಯೆರಹ್ಮೇಲನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.

of Kish—the sons of Kish, Jerameel;

30 ೩೦ ಮೂಷೀಯನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮಹ್ಲೀ, ಏದೆರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆರೀಮೋತ್ ಎಂಬುವವರು.

and, the sons of Mushi, Mahli and Eder and Jerimoth. These, were the sons of the Levites, belonging to their ancestral house.

31 ೩೧ ಇವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಲೇವಿ ಸಂತಾನದವರು. ಇವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ, ಕಿರಿಯರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಲ ಬಂಧುಗಳಾದ ಆರೋನ್ಯರಂತೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದ ಚಾದೋಕ್ ಅಹೀಮೆಲೆಕ್ ಇವರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ, ಯಾಜಕರ ಮತ್ತು ಲೇವಿಯರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಪ್ರಧಾನರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ, ಚೀಟಿನಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಸರದಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.

Moreover, they also, cast lots along with their brethren the sons of Aaron, before David the king and Zadok and Ahimelech, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, the ancestral chief along with his younger brethren.
