ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾಂತ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಭಾಗ 23
1 ೧ ದಾವೀದನು ವಯೋವೃದ್ಧನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಜೀವಮಾನದ ಕೊನೆಯ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.
Now, David, was old, and satisfied with days, —so he made Solomon his son king, over Israel;
and gathered together all the rulers of Israel, with the priests, and the Levites.
3 ೩ ಮೂವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಿದಾಗ ಗಂಡಸರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯು ಮೂವತ್ತೆಂಟು ಸಾವಿರವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
Now the Levites were numbered, from thirty years old and upwards, —and their number by their polls, of mature men, was thirty-eight thousand.
4 ೪ ದಾವೀದನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವವರ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಆರು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು,
Of these—to preside over the work of the house of Yahweh, were twenty-four thousand, —and officers and judges, six thousand;
5 ೫ ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರನ್ನಾಗಿ, ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ತಾನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಭಜಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.
and four thousand, were doorkeepers, —and, four thousand, were offerers of praise unto Yahweh, with instruments, which [said David] I made for offering praise.
6 ೬ ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಲೇವಿಯ ಸಂತಾನದವರಾದ ಗೇರ್ಷೋನ್ಯರು, ಕೆಹಾತ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಮೆರಾರೀಯರು ಇವರನ್ನು ವಿವಿಧ ವರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಿದನು.
And David divided them into courses, —pertaining to the sons of Levi, to Gershon, Kohath and Merari.
Of the Gershonites, Ladan and Shimei.
The sons of Ladan, the chief Jehiel, and Zetham and Joel, three.
The sons of Shimei, Shelomoth and Haziel and Haran, three, —these, were the ancestral chiefs of Ladan.
And, the sons of Shimei, Jahath, Zina, and Jeush, and Beriah, —these, were the sons of Shimei, four.
11 ೧೧ ಯಹತನು ಪ್ರಧಾನನು, ಜೀಜನು ಎರಡನೆಯವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು, ಯೆಯೂಷ್, ಬೆರೀಯರಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿರಲಿಲ್ಲವಾದುದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಂದೇ ಕುಟುಂಬವಾಗಿ ವರ್ಗವಾಗಿಯೂ ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು.
And Jahath was chief, and Zizah the second, —but, Jeush and Beriah, had not many sons, so they became an ancestral house, by one reckoning.
The sons of Kohath, Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, four.
13 ೧೩ ಅಮ್ರಾಮನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಆರೋನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮೋಶೆ ಎಂಬುವವರು. ಆರೋನನು ಅವನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ಮಹಾ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು. ಇವರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸದಾಕಾಲ ಧೂಪಹಾಕುವವರೂ, ಆತನ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವವರೂ, ಆತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು.
The sons of Amram, Aaron and Moses, —and Aaron was separated, to hallow the holy of holies, he and his sons, unto times age-abiding, to make a perfume before Yahweh, to be in attendance upon him, and to bless in his name, unto times age-abiding;
and, as for Moses, the man of God, his sons, were called unto the tribe of Levi.
The sons of Moses, were Gershom, and Eliezer.
the sons of Gershom, were Shebuel the chief;
17 ೧೭ ಪ್ರಧಾನನಾದ ರೆಹಬ್ಯ ಎಲೀಯೆಜೆರನ ಮಗನು. ಎಲೀಯೆಜೆರನಿಗೆ ಬೇರೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ರೆಹಬ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿದ್ದರು.
and the sons of Eliezer were Rehabiah the chief, —and Eliezer had no other sons, but, the sons of Rehabiah, were very many.
The sons of Izhar, Shelomith the chief.
19 ೧೯ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರೀಯನು ಪ್ರಧಾನನು, ಅಮರ್ಯನು ಎರಡನೆಯವನು, ಯಹಜೀಯೇಲನು ಮೂರನೆಯವನು, ಯೆಕಮ್ಮಾಮ್ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯವನು.
The sons of Hebron, Jeriah the chief, Amariah the second, Jehaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.
The sons of Uzziel, Micah the chief, and Isshiah the second.
The sons of Merari, were Mahli and Mushi. The sons of Mahli, were Eleazar and Kish.
22 ೨೨ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನು ಗಂಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸತ್ತನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ಇದ್ದರು. ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಂಧುಗಳಾದ ಕೀಷನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾದರು.
But Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters only, —and so the sons of Kish their brethren took them.
The sons of Mushi, were Mahli and Eder and Jeremoth, three.
24 ೨೪ ಲೇವಿಯರ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹೆಸರುಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇವರೇ ಆಯಾ ಲೇವಿ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು. ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡತಕ್ಕವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
These, were the sons of Levi by their ancestral house, the ancestral chiefs of them who were counted in the number of their names, by their polls, doing the work, for the service of the house of Yahweh, —from twenty years old, and upwards.
25 ೨೫ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು, ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ, ಆತನು ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವನಾದುದರಿಂದ,
For, said David, Yahweh the God of Israel hath given rest unto his people, —and hath taken up his habitation in Jerusalem, unto times age-abiding;
26 ೨೬ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಆತನ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನೂ, ಆರಾಧನಾ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೊರುವುದು ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ದಾವೀದನು ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ವಿಧಿಸಿದನು.
moreover also, as for the Levites, they have no need to bear the habitation, nor any of its vessels in the laborious work thereof.
27 ೨೭ ದಾವೀದನ ಈ ಕಡೇ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಲೇವಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.
For, by the last words of David, the same, were the number of the sons of Levi, —from twenty years old, and upwards.
28 ೨೮ ಅವರು ಆರೋನ್ಯರ ಕೈಕೆಳಗಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದ ಪರಿಚಾರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಕೆಲಸಗಳು ಯಾವುದೆಂದರೆ, ಅಂಗಳಗಳ ಕೋಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛಮಾಡಿ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೂ, ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವುದೂ,
For, their duty, was—to be in attendance upon the sons of Aaron, in the laborious work of the house of Yahweh, over the courts, and over the chambers, and over the purifying of everything holy, —and doing the laborious work, of the house of God;
29 ೨೯ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವುದೂ, ನೈವೇದ್ಯದ ಮೀಸಲು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ, ನೈವೇದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಗೋದಿಹಿಟ್ಟು, ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಹಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಟ್ಟ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ, ಎಣ್ಣೆಯಿಂದ ನೆನೆದ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಗಳು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವುದೂ, ಸೇರು, ಅಳತೆಗೋಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದೂ,
and for the bread set in array, and for the fine meal for the meal-offering, and for the unleavened cakes, even for that which is baked in a pan, for the moistened food, —even of every measure, and size;
and to stand, morning by morning, to give thanks and offer praise unto Yahweh, —and, likewise, at even;
31 ೩೧ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನ, ಅಮಾವಾಸ್ಯೆ, ಜಾತ್ರೆ ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮುಂದೆ ತಪ್ಪದೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮ, ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯ ಹೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದೂ ಇವೇ.
and for all the offering of ascending-sacrifices unto Yahweh, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the set feasts, —by number, according to the manner prescribed for them continually, before Yahweh; —
32 ೩೨ ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಆರೋನನ ಸಹಾಯಕರಾಗಿದ್ದು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನೂ, ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೇ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಗಳು.
and they shall keep the charge of the tent of meeting, and the charge of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of Aaron, their brethren, —in the laborious work of the house of Yahweh.
