1 Tima eriante fatgo'ma higeno kama'are vu fatgo hiankna huno, Ra Anumzamo'a kini vahe'mofo agu'agesa azeri antefatgo nehigeno, Agri avesite nevie.
[Like] channels of water, is the heart of a king, in the hand of Yahweh, —whithersoever he will, he turneth it.
2 Vahe'mo'za maka zamavu'zamava'ma nehaza zankura, fatgo avu'avaza nehune hu'za hugahazanagi, Ra Anumzamoke zamagu'a refako huno nezamage.
Every way of a man, may be right in his own eyes, but, he that testeth hearts, is Yahweh.
3 Ra Anumzamofo avurera fatgo avu'ava zane, fatgo huno refako hu'zamo'a, Kresramanama vu zana agatere'ne.
To do righteousness and justice, is more choice to Yahweh than sacrifice.
4 Vahe'ma ke fenkamite zane, avufga ra hu'zamo'a, nena raga'a rentesiana kumire.
Loftiness of eyes, and ambition of heart—the lamp of the lawless, are sin.
5 Knare huno antahintahima retro huteno, hanavetino eri'zama eri'zamo'a, rama'aza erifore hugahie. Hianagi ame'ama hu'zamo'a, amunte omane vahe manigahie.
The plans of the diligent, tend only to abundance, but, of every one that is urgent, only to want.
6 Havigereti eri fenomo'a, hampogino kirga hiankna huno fanane nehuno, frikante kavreno vugahie.
The gaining of treasures with a tongue of falsehood, is a vapour driven away, [they who seek them] seek death,
7 Kefo avu'ava'ma nehaza vahe'mokizmi hazenke'zamo'a, zamavazu huno zamazeri haviza hugahie. Na'ankure zamagra fatgo zamavu'zamava huzankura, zamavesra hunentaze.
The violence of the lawless, shall drag them away, —because they have refused to do justice.
8 Hazenke zamima me'nea vahe'mo'za mani fatgo hu'za nomanize. Hianagi hazenke zamima omane vahe'mo'za fatgo avu'avate nemanize.
Crooked is the way of a guilty man, but, as for the pure, straight is his dealing.
9 Fra vazivava a'ene mago nompi omanino, agraku'ma nomofo fegu'a mani'zamo'a, knare hu'ne.
Better to dwell on the corner of the roof, than a quarrelsome wife, and a house in common.
The soul of the lawless man, craveth mischief, his own friend, findeth no favour in his eyes.
When the scoffer is punished, the simple, becometh wise, when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.
12 Ra Anumzamo'a fatgo hu'neankino, kefo vahe'mo'ma noma'afima hia avu'ava'zana keno antahino nehiankino, ana vahera zamazeri haviza hugahie.
The Righteous One observeth the house of the lawless, —He is ready to cast down lawless men into misfortune.
He that shutteth his ear from the cry of the poor, even he, shall call, and not be answered.
14 Rimpama hegante'nesia vahe'ma oku'ama musezama ami'zamo'a arimpa ahegante'nesia zana eri fru hugahane.
A gift in secret, quencheth anger, and, a present in the bosom, mighty wrath.
It is a joy, to a righteous man, to do justice, but, dismay, to the workers of iniquity.
16 Mago'mo'ma antahi ama'ma hu antahi'zamofo kama atreno havifima vanimo'a, frino ko'ma fri'naza vahe'ene umanigahie.
The man who wandereth from the way of discretion, in the gathered host of the shades, shall settle down.
17 Knare ne'zama neneno, tima neno musehu zanku'ma mika zupama avesivava hanimo'a, zago'amo'a vagaresigeno amunte omane vahe manigahie.
A needy man, shall he be that loveth merriment, the lover of wine and oil, shall not become rich.
A ransom for the righteous, is the lawless, and, instead of upright men, the traitor.
19 Mago ne'mo'ma kehakare nehuno, rimpa hevava nehania a'amofoma atreno ka'ma kopima umanisiana knare hugahie.
Better to dwell in a desert land, than with a woman, quarrelsome and provoking.
20 Ama' antahi'zama eri'nesia ne'mo'a, knare feno zantamine olivi masavena noma'afina erivitegahie. Hianagi neginagi antahi'zane vahe'mo'za, mika fenozazmia atre vaganeraze.
Desirable treasure and oil, are in the home of the wise, but, a man who is a dullard, will destroy it.
21 Mago vahe'mo'ma fatgo avu'avazane vahe'ma avesinte avu'ava'ma hankavetino avaririsimo'a, knare nomani'zanki, fatgo avu'ava'ene ra agine erigahie.
He that pursueth righteousness and lovingkindness, shall find life, righteousness and honour.
A city of heroes, doth a wise man scale, and bringeth down the strength of its confidence.
23 Iza'o kema hu'zampima agi'ene aganefu'nanema kegavama hanimo'a, hazenkea e'origahie.
He that keepeth his mouth and his tongue, keepeth, out of distresses, his soul.
24 Vahe'ma huhavizama huzamante vahe'mo'a, avufga ra nehuno, vahera zamage fenkami netreno, agra'a avufga erisga hu'zanke nehie.
A haughty insolent one—Scoffer is his name, is he that acteth in a transport of pride.
The craving of the sluggard, killeth him, for his hands have refused to work.
26 Feru ne'mo'a mika'zama eri'zankura antahi vava nehie. Hianagi fatgo ne'mo'a agra'agura ontahino, mika fenozana vahera nezamie.
All the day, he greatly craveth, whereas, the righteous, giveth, and doth not spare.
27 Kefo avu'ava ene vahe'mo'ma kresramnama nevia zankura, Ra Anumzamo'a agoteno avesra hunenteankino, kefo zamagu'zamage'sareti'ma eri'za aza vahera mago'ane agatereno avesra hunezamante.
The sacrifice of the lawless, is an abomination, how much more, when, with wickedness, he bringeth it in!
28 Keagama refako hu trate'ma havigema huno hu ama'ma huntesimo'a, frigahie. Hianagi tamage kema hanimofona, ana agenke'amo'a mevava huno vugahie.
A false witness, shall perish, but, the man who hearkeneth, with abiding effect, shall speak.
29 Kefo avu'ava'ma hu vahe'mo'a, havige huno nagra knare vahe mani'noe nehie. Hianagi fatgo vahe'mo'za zamagesa antahi so'e hute'za kana nevaze.
A lawless man emboldeneth his face, but, as for the upright, he, directeth his ways.
30 Ama' antahi'zana eri'nenka, antahi ama'ma hu antahi'zana erigahananagi, Ra Anumzamofoma ha'ma rente'sanana ana antahi zankamo'a amne zankna hugahie.
There is no wisdom, nor understanding, nor counsel, to confront Yahweh.
The horse, is prepared for the day of battle, but, to Yahweh, pertaineth the victory.
