マルコの福音書 16
1 さて、安息日が終ったので、マグダラのマリヤとヤコブの母マリヤとサロメとが、行ってイエスに塗るために、香料を買い求めた。
And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the [mother] of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
2 そして週の初めの日に、早朝、日の出のころ墓に行った。
And very early in the morning, the first [day] of the week, they came to the sepulcher at the rising of the sun:
3 そして、彼らは「だれが、わたしたちのために、墓の入口から石をころがしてくれるのでしょうか」と話し合っていた。
And they said among themselves, Who shall roll away for us the stone from the door of the sepulcher?
4 ところが、目をあげて見ると、石はすでにころがしてあった。この石は非常に大きかった。
(And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away) for it was very great.
5 墓の中にはいると、右手に真白な長い衣を着た若者がすわっているのを見て、非常に驚いた。
And entering into the sepulcher, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were frightened.
6 するとこの若者は言った、「驚くことはない。あなたがたは十字架につけられたナザレ人イエスを捜しているのであろうが、イエスはよみがえって、ここにはおられない。ごらんなさい、ここがお納めした場所である。
And he saith to them, Be not frightened: ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him:
7 今から弟子たちとペテロとの所へ行って、こう伝えなさい。イエスはあなたがたより先にガリラヤへ行かれる。かねて、あなたがたに言われたとおり、そこでお会いできるであろう、と」。
But go, tell his disciples and Peter, that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said to you.
8 女たちはおののき恐れながら、墓から出て逃げ去った。そして、人には何も言わなかった。恐ろしかったからである。〔
And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulcher; for they trembled, and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any [man]; for they were afraid.
9 (note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) 週の初めの日の朝早く、イエスはよみがえって、まずマグダラのマリヤに御自身をあらわされた。イエスは以前に、この女から七つの悪霊を追い出されたことがある。
(note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) Now when [Jesus] was risen early, the first [day] of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven demons.
10 マリヤは、イエスと一緒にいた人々が泣き悲しんでいる所に行って、それを知らせた。
[And] she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
11 彼らは、イエスが生きておられる事と、彼女に御自身をあらわされた事とを聞いたが、信じなかった。
And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, believed not.
12 この後、そのうちのふたりが、いなかの方へ歩いていると、イエスはちがった姿で御自身をあらわされた。
After that, he appeared in another form to two of them, as they were walking and going into the country.
13 このふたりも、ほかの人々の所に行って話したが、彼らはその話を信じなかった。
And they went and told [it] to the residue: neither believed they them.
14 その後、イエスは十一弟子が食卓についているところに現れ、彼らの不信仰と、心のかたくななことをお責めになった。彼らは、よみがえられたイエスを見た人々の言うことを、信じなかったからである。
Afterward he appeared to the eleven, as they sat at table, and upbraided them with their unbelief, and hardness of heart, because they believed not them who had seen him after he was risen.
15 そして彼らに言われた、「全世界に出て行って、すべての造られたものに福音を宣べ伝えよ。
And he said to them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 信じてバプテスマを受ける者は救われる。しかし、不信仰の者は罪に定められる。
He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 信じる者には、このようなしるしが伴う。すなわち、彼らはわたしの名で悪霊を追い出し、新しい言葉を語り、
And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak in new languages;
18 へびをつかむであろう。また、毒を飲んでも、決して害を受けない。病人に手をおけば、いやされる」。
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 主イエスは彼らに語り終ってから、天にあげられ、神の右にすわられた。
So then after the Lord had spoken to them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 弟子たちは出て行って、至る所で福音を宣べ伝えた。主も彼らと共に働き、御言に伴うしるしをもって、その確かなことをお示しになった。〕
And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with [them], and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
