詩篇 15

1 ヱホバよなんぢの帷幄のうちにやどらん者はたれぞ なんぢの聖山にすまはんものは誰ぞ

A psalm of David. Lord, who can be guest in your tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?

2 直くあゆみ義をおこなひ そのこころに眞實をいふものぞその人なる

The person whose walk is blameless, whose conduct is right, whose words are true and sincere;

3 かかる人は舌をもてそしらず その友をそこなはず またその隣をはぢしむる言をあげもちひず

on whose tongue there sits no slander, who will not harm a friend,

4 惡にしづめるものを見ていとひかろしめ ヱホバをおそるるものをたふとび 誓ひしことはおのれに禍害となるも變ることなし

nor cruelly insult a neighbour, who regards with contempt those rejected by God; but honours those who obey the Lord, who keeps an oath, whatever the cost,

5 貨をかして過たる利をむさぼらず 賄賂をいれて無辜をそこなはざるなり 斯ることどもを行ふものは永遠にうごかさるることなかるべし

whose money is lent without interest, and never takes a bribe to hurt the innocent. The person who does these things will always stand firm.
