1 Per il Capo de’ musici. Per strumenti a corda. Salmo. Canto. Iddio abbia mercé di noi, e ci benedica, Iddio faccia risplendere il suo volto su noi; (Sela)

[For the Chief Musician. With stringed instruments. A Psalm. A song.] May God be merciful to us, bless us, and cause his face to shine on us. (Selah)

2 affinché la tua via sia conosciuta sulla terra, e la tua salvezza fra tutte le genti.

That your way may be known on earth, and your salvation among all nations,

3 Ti celebrino i popoli, o Dio, tutti quanti i popoli ti celebrino!

let the peoples praise you, God. Let all the peoples praise you.

4 Le nazioni si rallegrino e giubilino, perché tu giudichi i popoli con equità, e sei la guida delle nazioni sulla terra. (Sela)

Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you will judge the world in righteousness. You will judge the peoples with equity, and guide the nations on earth.

5 Ti celebrino i popoli, o Dio, tutti quanti i popoli ti celebrino!

Let the peoples praise you, God. Let all the peoples praise you.

6 La terra ha prodotto il suo frutto; Dio, l’Iddio nostro, ci benedirà.

The land has yielded its produce. May God, our God, bless us.

7 Iddio ci benedirà, e tutte le estremità della terra lo temeranno.

May God bless us. Every part of the earth shall fear him.
