Geremia 9
1 Chi farà del mio capo una fonte di acqua, dei miei occhi una sorgente di lacrime, perché pianga giorno e notte gli uccisi della figlia del mio popolo?
Who? will he give head my [was] water and eye my [was] a fountain of tear[s] so I may bewail by day and night [those] slain of [the] daughter of people my.
2 Chi mi darà nel deserto un rifugio per viandanti? Io lascerei il mio popolo e mi allontanerei da lui, perché sono tutti adùlteri, una massa di traditori.
Who? will he give me in the wilderness a lodging place of travelers and I will leave people my and I will go from with them for all of them [are] adulterers an assembly of treacherous [people].
3 Tendono la loro lingua come un arco; la menzogna e non la verità domina nel paese. Passano da un delitto all'altro e non conoscono il Signore.
And they have bent tongue their bow of their falsehood and not to faithfulness they are strong in the land for from evil to evil - they have gone out and me not they know [the] utterance of Yahweh.
4 Ognuno si guardi dal suo amico, non fidatevi neppure del fratello, poiché ogni fratello inganna il fratello, e ogni amico va spargendo calunnie.
Each from neighbor his take heed and on any brother may not you rely for every brother certainly he cheats and every neighbor a slanderer he goes about.
5 Ognuno si beffa del suo prossimo, nessuno dice la verità. Hanno abituato la lingua a dire menzogne, operano l'iniquità, incapaci di convertirsi.
And each neighbor his they deceive and truth not they speak they have taught tongue their to speak falsehood to iniquire they are weary.
6 Angheria sopra angheria, inganno su inganno; rifiutano di conoscere il Signore.
Dwelling you in among deceit on deceit they have refused to know me [the] utterance of Yahweh.
7 Perciò dice il Signore degli eserciti: «Ecco li raffinerò al crogiuolo e li saggerò; come dovrei comportarmi con il mio popolo?
Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts here I [am] about to refine them and I will test them for how? will I act because of [the] daughter of people my.
8 Una saetta micidiale è la loro lingua, inganno le parole della loro bocca. Ognuno parla di pace con il prossimo, mentre nell'intimo gli ordisce un tranello
[is] an arrow (Beaten *QK) tongue their deceit it speaks with mouth his peace with neighbor his someone speaks and in inner being his he sets ambush his.
9 Non dovrei forse punirli per tali cose? Oracolo del Signore. Di un popolo come questo non dovrei vendicarmi?».
¿ On these [things] not will I visit them [the] utterance of Yahweh or? on a nation which [is] like this [one] not will it avenge itself self my.
10 Sui monti alzerò gemiti e lamenti, un pianto di lutto sui pascoli della steppa, perché sono riarsi, nessuno più vi passa, né più si ode il grido del bestiame. Dagli uccelli dell'aria alle bestie tutti sono fuggiti, scomparsi.
On the mountains I will take up weeping and wailing and on [the] pastures of [the] wilderness lamentation for they are left desolate because not anyone [who] passes through and not people hear [the] sound of livestock from [the] bird[s] of the heavens and unto animal[s] they have fled they have gone.
11 «Ridurrò Gerusalemme un cumulo di rovine, rifugio di sciacalli; le citta di Giuda ridurrò alla desolazione, senza abitanti».
And I will make Jerusalem into heaps of stones a habitation of jackals and [the] cities of Judah I will make a waste because not inhabitant.
12 Chi è tanto saggio da comprendere questo? A chi la bocca del Signore ha parlato perché lo annunzi? Perché il paese è devastato, desolato come un deserto senza passanti?
Who? [is] the person wise and he may understand this and whom it has spoken [the] mouth of Yahweh to him so he may declare it concerning what? has it been destroyed the land has it become desolate? like wilderness because not [one who] passes by.
13 Ha detto il Signore: «E' perché hanno abbandonato la legge che avevo loro posto innanzi e non hanno ascoltato la mia voce e non l'hanno seguita,
And he said Yahweh because have forsaken they law my which I set before them and not they have listened to voice my and not they have walked in it.
14 ma han seguito la caparbietà del loro cuore e i Baal, che i loro padri avevano fatto loro conoscere».
And they have walked after [the] stubbornness of own heart their and after the Baals which they taught them ancestors their.
15 Pertanto così dice il Signore degli eserciti, Dio di Israele: «Ecco, darò loro in cibo assenzio, farò loro bere acque avvelenate;
Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to feed them the people this wormwood and I will give to drink them water of poison.
16 Così dice il Signore degli eserciti: li disperderò in mezzo a popoli che né loro né i loro padri hanno conosciuto e manderò dietro a loro la spada finché non li abbia sterminati».
And I will scatter them among the nations which not they knew they and ancestors their and I will send forth after them the sword until have made an end of I them.
17 Attenti, chiamate le lamentatrici, che vengano! Fate venire le più brave! Accorrano
Thus he says Yahweh of hosts consider and summon the wailing [women] and they may come and to the skillful [women] send so they may come.
18 e facciano presto, per intonare su di noi un lamento. Sgorghino lacrime dai nostri occhi, il pianto scorra dalle nostre ciglia,
And they may hasten and they may take up on us wailing so they may run down eyes our tear[s] and eyelids our they may flow water.
19 perché una voce di lamento si ode da Sion: «Come siamo rovinati, come profondamente confusi, poiché dobbiamo abbandonare il paese, lasciare le nostre abitazioni».
For a sound of wailing it has been heard from Zion how! we have been devastated we have been put to shame exceedingly for we have left [the] land for people have cast down dwellings our.
20 Udite, dunque, o donne, la parola del Signore; i vostri orecchi accolgano la parola della sua bocca. Insegnate alle vostre figlie il lamento, l'una all'altra un canto di lutto:
For hear O women [the] word of Yahweh so it may receive ear your [the] word of mouth his and teach daughters your a mourning song and every woman neighbor her a lamentation.
21 «La morte è entrata per le nostre finestre, si è introdotta nei nostri palazzi, abbattendo i fanciulli nella via e i giovani nelle piazze.
For it has come up death in windows our it has come in fortresses our to cut off child[ren] from [the] street young men from [the] open places.
22 I cadaveri degli uomini giacciono - dice il Signore - come letame sui campi, come covoni dietro il mietitore e nessuno li raccoglie».
Speak thus [the] utterance of Yahweh and it will fall [the] corpse[s] of people like dung on [the] surface of the field[s] and like cut grain from behind the reaper and there not [will be one who] gathers.
23 Così dice il Signore: «Non si vanti il saggio della sua saggezza e non si vanti il forte della sua forza, non si vanti il ricco delle sue ricchezze.
Thus - he says Yahweh may not he boast a wise [person] in wisdom his and may not he boast the mighty [person] in might his may not he boast a rich [person] in rich[es] his.
24 Ma chi vuol gloriarsi si vanti di questo, di avere senno e di conoscere me, perché io sono il Signore che agisce con misericordia, con diritto e con giustizia sulla terra; di queste cose mi compiaccio». Parola del Signore.
That except in this let him boast who [-ever] boasts he has insight and he knows me that I [am] Yahweh [who] does covenant loyalty justice and righteousness on the earth for in these things I delight [the] utterance of Yahweh.
25 «Ecco, giorni verranno - oracolo del Signore - nei quali punirò tutti i circoncisi che rimangono non circoncisi:
Here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will visit [judgment] on every [man] circumcised in a foreskin.
26 l'Egitto, Giuda, Edom, gli Ammoniti e i Moabiti e tutti coloro che si tagliano i capelli alle estremità delle tempie, i quali abitano nel deserto, perché tutte queste nazioni e tutta la casa di Israele sono incirconcisi nel cuore».
On Egypt and on Judah and on Edom and on [the] people of Ammon and on Moab and on all [those who] are cut off of [the] corner who dwell in the wilderness for all the nations [are] uncircumcised and all [the] house of Israel [are] uncircumcised of heart.
