< Galatia 3 >

1 Unye Agalatia ni miagila imahala, iti gwa nyenyu nai umulogile, unyenye naza u Yesu Kristo ai uikilwe kihenga ntongeela a miho anyu. Kina wagigwe?
Foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you not to obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly portrayed among you as crucified?
2 Unene ndoilwe kulinga ikani ling'wi kupuma kitalanyu, Iti gwa ai mumusingiye Ungg'wau ng'welu ku ntendo ni a malagiilyo, ang'wi kuhuuila iki nai mukigule?
I just want to learn this from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?
3 Itii gwa unyenye inge miapungu ngele iyi? iti gwa unyenye inge miapungu ngele iyi? Iti gwa ai mandilye mu ng'wa ng'welu iti mumale mumiili?
Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now completed in the flesh?
4 Iti gwa ai magile ku makani idu na nkanda, anga tai ai atulaa a nankanda?
Did you suffer so many things in vain, if it is indeed in vain?
5 Iti nuanso mupumyaa ung'wau n'wgelu kitalanyu nu kituma i ntendo ni angulu kati anyu witumaa ku ntendo ni a malagiilyo ang'wi ku kigiilya palung'wi nu uhuiili?
He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you and does miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?
6 Abrahamu; ''Ai umuhuiie Itunda aka aligwa kina munya tai''.
Even so, Abraham “believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness.”
7 Ku ndogoelyo yiyo yiyoo lingi kina, awo naza ahuiie inge ana ang'wa Abrahamu.
Know therefore that those who are of faith are children of Abraham.
8 Uukilisigwa ai ultile kina Itunda aza uze a aiilya tai ane antu a mahi ku nzila a uhuiili, nkani ninza ai itanantigwe hanza kung'wa Abrahamu; ''Ku ewe mahi ihi akukendetwa ''.
The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Good News beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you all the nations will be blessed.”
9 Iti panyambele awo naza akete uhuiili akembetwe palung'wi nu Abrahamu, naza watulaa nu uhuiili.
So then, those who are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.
For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who doesn’t continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them.”
11 Itungili inge ikihenga kina Itunda shanga ukumualya tai akwe ga nung'wi ku malagiilyo, ku nsoko, ''Munya tai ane ukukie ku uhuiili''.
Now that no man is justified by the law before God is evident, for, “The righteous will live by faith.”
12 Ilagiilyo shanga lipumiie mu uhuili ku iti badala akwe, ''Niiza witumaa imakani aya ku malagiilyo, ukikie ku malagiilyo''.
The law is not of faith, but, “The man who does them will live by them.”
13 Kristo ai ukugunile usese kupuma ku uzung'wa nui ilagiilyo itungo nai wizepilye kizug'wa akunsoko itu. Kunsoko ikilisigwe ''Uzumilwe kila muntu nuikakong, wa migulya ikota''.
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,”
14 Isigo ai lituile kina ukende naza watulaa kung'wa Ibrahimuaza uzee tula ku antu a mahi kung'wa Kristo Yesu, Iti kina kuhume kusingiilya u wigombya nua ng'wau ng'welu kukiila uhuiili.
that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
15 Muluna, kutambula ku mpyani aki binaadamu, ga ni itungo naza wigombyaa nu wakinadamu wakondile kuikwa ukomu kutile nuhumile kuleka uu ang'we kongeelya.
Brothers, speaking of human terms, though it is only a man’s covenant, yet when it has been confirmed, no one makes it void or adds to it.
16 Itungili i malago ai aligitigwe kung'wa Ibrahimu nu ku ulelwa nu akwe. shanga ai iligitigwe anga ''ku uutugi'' kusigiilya idu, ila badala akwe ku ung'wi wing'wene, ''ku utugi nu ako'' ni iza inge Kristo.
Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his offspring. He doesn’t say, “To descendants”, as of many, but as of one, “To your offspring”, which is Christ.
17 Itungili kiligitya iti, ilagiilyo naza lizile myaka 430 panyambele, Shanga lihejaa ilagiilyo ni la kunyuma nai liikilwe niItunda.
Now I say this: A covenant confirmed beforehand by God in Christ, the law, which came four hundred thirty years after, does not annul, so as to make the promise of no effect.
18 Ku nsoko anga ize uusali ai ize uzile ku nzila a malagiilyo, shnga ai uzee tula hangi uzile ku nzila a wigombya. Ku iti Itunda ai uupumilye nankanda kung'wa Ibrahimu ku nzila a wigombya.
For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise; but God has granted it to Abraham by promise.
19 Ku niki itungili ilagiilyo ai lipumgwe? Ai longeeigwe kunsoko a milandu, kupikiila mulewa nu ang'wa Ibrahimu waze ku awo naza kitalao ai ai watulaa ulagiilwe. Ilagiilyo ai liikilwe kuukinyila kukiila u malaika ku mukono nua mulamuli.
Then why is there the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise has been made. It was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator.
20 Itungili u mulamuli usigiiwe ku kilinkiila a muntu ung'wi, Ila Itunda inge ung'we wing'wene du.
Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one.
21 Ku lulo iti gwa ilagiilyo likoli nsuta ni ilagiilyo ni la ng'wi Itunda? A! a! kunsoko anga ize ilagiilyo nai atulaa ipumugwe ai atulaa nu uhumi nu akuleta u upanga, tai ane ai iziigela ki ilagiilyo.
Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could make alive, most certainly righteousness would have been of the law.
22 Ku iti badala akwe, Uukilisigwa ulugaie makani ihi pihi a milandu. Itunda ai uzepilye izi iti kina wigombya nu akwe nua kuuguna usese mu uhuiili mung'wa Kristo Yesu uhume kigeeleka ku awo ni akuhuiila.
But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
23 Ku iti ze ikili nu uhuiili kung'wa Kristo kuza, ai katulaa katung'waa nu kutula pihi ilagiilyo kupikiila uze uukunukulwa nu auhuiili.
But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, confined for the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24 Ku lulo ilagiilyo ai lizepigwe mutongeeli witu kupikiila Kristo nai akiza, iti kina kualigwe tai ane ku uhuiili.
So that the law has become our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 Itungili kunsoko uhuiilin wazilee kutili hangi pihi a mugozeeli.
But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.
26 Kunsoko unyenye mihi inge mi ana ang'wi Itunda kukiila uhuiili mung'wa Kristo Yesu.
For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus.
27 Ihi naza mogigwe mu ng'wa Kristo, Mumutugae Krusto.
For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 Kitili Muyahudi ang'wi mu Yunami, mutuung'wa ang'wi mulyuku, mugoha ang'wi musungu, kunsoko unyenye mihi inge ung'wi mung'wa Kristo Yesu. Anga ize unyenye inge mi ang'wa Kristo Yesu.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 Uu inge uutugwa nuang'wa Ibrahimu, Asali ku ngulu ilaggo.
If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring and heirs according to promise.
