Mazmur 61

1 Untuk pemimpin biduan. Dengan permainan kecapi. Dari Daud. Dengarkanlah kiranya seruanku, ya Allah, perhatikanlah doaku!

[For the Chief Musician. For a stringed instrument. By David.] Hear my cry, God. Listen to my prayer.

2 Dari ujung bumi aku berseru kepada-Mu, karena hatiku lemah lesu; tuntunlah aku ke gunung batu yang terlalu tinggi bagiku.

From the most remote place of the earth, I will call to you, when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

3 Sungguh Engkau telah menjadi tempat perlindunganku, menara yang kuat terhadap musuh.

For you have been a refuge for me, a strong tower from the enemy.

4 Biarlah aku menumpang di dalam kemah-Mu untuk selama-lamanya, biarlah aku berlindung dalam naungan sayap-Mu! (Sela)

I will dwell in your tent forever. I will take refuge in the shelter of your wings. (Selah)

5 Sungguh, Engkau, ya Allah, telah mendengarkan nazarku, telah memenuhi permintaan orang-orang yang takut akan nama-Mu.

For you, God, have heard my vows. You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.

6 Tambahilah umur raja, tahun-tahun hidupnya kiranya sampai turun-temurun;

You will prolong the king's life; his years shall be for generations.

7 kiranya ia bersemayam di hadapan Allah selama-lamanya, titahkanlah kasih setia dan kebenaran menjaga dia.

He shall be enthroned in God's presence forever. Appoint your loving kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.

8 Maka aku hendak memazmurkan nama-Mu untuk selamanya, sedang aku membayar nazarku hari demi hari.

So I will sing praise to your name forever, that I may fulfill my vows day after day.
