Yosua 6
1 Di kota Yerikho pintu-pintu gerbang sudah dijaga ketat dan ditutup rapat-rapat supaya orang Israel tidak dapat masuk. Tidak seorang pun diperbolehkan masuk atau keluar kota itu.
Forsothe Jerico was closid and wardid, for the drede of the sones of Israel, and no man durste entre, ethir go out.
2 TUHAN berkata kepada Yosua, "Sekarang Aku serahkan kepadamu Yerikho dengan rajanya dan semua tentaranya yang berani-berani itu.
And the Lord seide to Josue, Lo! Y yaf in to thin hondis Jerico, and the king therof, and alle strong men.
3 Engkau dan tentaramu harus berbaris mengelilingi kota itu sekali sehari selama enam hari.
Alle ye fiyteris, cumpasse the citee onys bi the day; so ye schulen do in sixe daies.
4 Tujuh orang imam, masing-masing membawa trompet, harus berjalan di depan Peti Perjanjian. Pada hari ketujuh, engkau dan tentaramu harus mengelilingi kota itu tujuh kali sementara para imam meniup trompetnya.

5 Kemudian imam-imam itu harus meniup trompetnya dengan bunyi yang panjang. Begitu kalian mendengar bunyi yang panjang itu, semua tentara harus bersorak dengan gemuruh, maka tembok kota itu akan runtuh. Lalu kalian semua harus langsung memasuki kota itu."
And whanne the vois of the trumpe schal sowne lengere, and more bi whiles, and schal sowne in youre eeris, al the puple schal crie togidere with gretteste cry; and the wallis of the citee schulen falle alle doun, and alle men schulen entre bi the place, ayens which thei stonden.
6 Maka Yosua memanggil para imam, dan berkata, "Angkatlah Peti Perjanjian itu; tujuh orang dari antara kalian harus berjalan di depannya sambil membawa trompet."
Therfor Josue, the sone of Nun, clepide preestis, and seide to hem, Take ye the ark of boond of pees, and seuene othere preestis take seuene clariouns of iubile yeeris, and go thei bifor the arke of the Lord.
7 Lalu Yosua menyuruh tentaranya berbaris mengelilingi kota itu, didahului oleh barisan pengawal depan yang berjalan mendahului Peti Perjanjian TUHAN.
Also Josue seide to the puple, Go ye, and cumpasse ye the citee, and go ye armed bifor the arke of the Lord.
8 Sesuai dengan perintah Yosua, berangkatlah barisan pengawal depan mendahului imam-imam peniup trompet, diikuti oleh imam-imam yang memikul Peti Perjanjian, kemudian diakhiri oleh barisan pengawal belakang. Sementara mereka berjalan, trompet terus-menerus dibunyikan.
And whanne Josue hadde endid the wordis, and seuene preestis trumpiden with seuen clariouns bifor the arke of boond of pees of the Lord,
and al the puple armed yede bifore, the tothir comyn puple of fiyteris suede the arke, and alle thingis sowneden with clariouns.
10 Semua tentara sudah diperintahkan untuk tidak bersorak dan tidak mengucapkan sepatah kata pun kalau Yosua belum memberi aba-aba.
Sotheli Josue comaundide to the puple, and seide, Ye schulen not crye, nethir youre vois schal be herd, nethir ony word schal go out of youre mouth, til the dai come, in which Y schal seie to you, Crye ye, and make ye noyse.
11 Demikianlah Yosua menyuruh tentaranya membawa Peti Perjanjian mengelilingi kota itu satu kali, kemudian kembali ke perkemahan, dan bermalam di situ.
Therfor the arke of the Lord cumpasside the citee onys bi day, and turnede ayen in to the castels, and dwellide there.
12 Besoknya, pagi-pagi sekali, Yosua bangun lalu untuk kedua kalinya para imam dan tentara berbaris mengelilingi kota itu dalam urutan barisan seperti hari sebelumnya: mula-mula barisan pengawal depan, kemudian ketujuh imam peniup trompet, disusul oleh imam-imam yang memikul Peti Perjanjian, dan akhirnya barisan pengawal belakang. Sementara itu trompet terus-menerus dibunyikan.
Therfor while Josue roos bi nyyt, preestis tooken the arke of the Lord;
and seuene of the preestis token seuen clariouns, of whiche `the vss is in iubilee, and yeden bifor the arke of the Lord, `and yeden, and trumpiden; and the puple yede armed bifor hem. Sotheli the tother comyn puple suede the arke, and sownede with clariouns.
14 Pada hari kedua itu mereka mengelilingi kota satu kali kemudian kembali ke perkemahan. Begitulah mereka lakukan setiap hari selama enam hari.
And thei cumpassiden the citee in the secunde dai onys, and turneden ayen in to the castels; so thei dyden in sixe daies.
15 Pada hari ketujuh mereka bangun pagi-pagi ketika matahari baru terbit, lalu berbaris tujuh kali mengelilingi kota Yerikho itu dengan cara yang sama. Hanya pada hari ketujuh itu saja, mereka mengelilingi kota itu tujuh kali.

16 Pada kali yang ketujuh, begitu para imam meniup trompetnya, Yosua memberi aba-aba kepada seluruh pasukan untuk bersorak. Yosua berkata, "TUHAN sudah menyerahkan kota ini kepadamu!
And whanne in the seuenthe cumpas preestis sowneden with clariouns, Josue seide to al Israel, Crie ye, for the Lord hath bitake the citee to vs;
17 Seluruh kota dengan segala isinya harus dimusnahkan sama sekali sebagai persembahan untuk TUHAN. Hanya Rahab, wanita pelacur itu dengan kaum keluarganya saja boleh dibiarkan hidup, karena ia sudah menolong mata-mata kita.
and this citee be cursid, ethir distried, and alle thingis that ben therynne be halewid to the Lord. Raab the hoor aloone lyue, with alle men that ben with hir in the hows; for sche hidde the messangeris whiche we senten.
18 Tidak boleh mengambil sesuatu pun dari semua yang harus dimusnahkan. Kalau kalian mengambilnya, perkemahan Israel akan ditimpa celaka dan bencana.
Forsothe be ye war, lest ye touchen ony thing of these that ben comaundid to you, and ye ben gilti of trespassyng; and alle the castels of Israel be vndur synne, and be troblid.
19 Semua barang perak, emas, tembaga, dan besi harus dikhususkan untuk TUHAN, dan disimpan di dalam tempat penyimpanan harta milik TUHAN."
Sotheli what euer thing is of gold, and of siluer, and of brasun vessels, and of yrun, be halewid to the Lord, and be kept in hise tresoris.
20 Lalu para imam meniup trompetnya. Dan begitu orang-orang Israel mendengar bunyi trompet itu, mereka bersorak kuat-kuat, lalu tembok kota Yerikho runtuh. Seluruh tentara Israel langsung naik, dan memasuki kota itu lalu merebutnya.
Therfor while al the puple criede, and the trumpis sowneden, aftir that the sowne sownede in the eeris of the multitude, the walles felden doun anoon; and ech man stiede bi the place that was ayens hym. And thei token the citee,
21 Semua yang di dalam kota itu, tua muda, pria wanita, dibunuh dengan pedang. Segala ternak sapi, domba dan keledai pun dibunuh.
and killiden alle thingis that weren therynne, fro man `til to womman, fro yong child `til to eld man; also thei smytiden bi the scharpnesse of swerd, oxun, and scheep, and assis.
22 Kepada kedua orang yang telah menjadi mata-mata, Yosua berkata, "Pergilah ke rumah wanita pelacur itu, dan bawalah dia keluar bersama-sama dengan keluarganya seperti yang sudah kalian janjikan kepadanya."
Forsothe Josue seide to twei men, that weren sent aspieris, Entre ye in to the hows of the womman hoore, and brynge ye forth hir, and alle thingis that ben herne, as ye maden stedfast to hir bi an ooth.
23 Maka kedua mata-mata itu pergi, dan membawa keluar Rahab bersama dengan ayah ibunya, saudara-saudaranya, dan kaum keluarganya yang lain. Seluruh keluarga Rahab itu dengan hamba-hambanya dibawa keluar ke tempat yang aman dekat perkemahan Israel.
And the yonge men entriden, and ledden out Raab, and her fadir, and modir, and britheren, and al the purtenaunce of houshold, and the kynrede `of hir; and maden to dwelle without the castels of Israel.
24 Kemudian tentara Israel membakar habis seluruh kota itu dengan segala sesuatu yang ada di dalamnya, kecuali barang-barang emas, perak, tembaga dan besi. Barang-barang itu mereka ambil dan bawa ke tempat penyimpanan harta milik TUHAN.
Sotheli thei brenten the citee, and alle thingis that weren foundun therynne, without gold, and siluer, and brasun vesselis, and yrun, which thei halewiden in to the `treserie of the Lord.
25 Tetapi Rahab wanita pelacur itu dengan seluruh kaum keluarganya dibiarkan hidup oleh Yosua, karena ia sudah menolong kedua mata-mata yang diutus Yosua ke Yerikho. (Sampai pada hari ini keturunan Rahab masih ada di Israel.)

26 Pada waktu itu Yosua mengeluarkan larangan ini, "Siapa pun yang berusaha membangun kembali kota Yerikho ini, akan terkena kutukan TUHAN. Siapa yang meletakkan pondasinya akan kehilangan anak sulungnya; dan siapa yang memasang pintu-pintu gerbangnya akan kehilangan anak bungsunya."
and seide, Cursid bifor the Lord be the man, that reisith and bildith the citee of Jerico! Leie he the foundementis therof in his firste gendrid sone, and putte he the yatis therof in the laste of fre children.
27 TUHAN menyertai Yosua, dan nama Yosua menjadi termasyhur di seluruh negeri itu.
Therfor the Lord was with Josue, and his name was pupplischid in ech lond.
