< Marcos 9 >

1 Kinunana kadakuada, “Pudno daytoy ibagak kadakayo, adda sumagmamano kadakayo nga agtaktakder ditoy ti saanto a makapadas iti ipapatay sakbay a makitada ti pagarian ti Dios nga umay nga addaan iti pannakabalin.”
And He said to them, “I tell you assuredly: there are some standing here who will certainly not taste death until they see the Kingdom of God present with power.”
2 Ket kalpasan iti innem nga aldaw, inkuyog ni Jesus da Pedro, Santiago ken Juan idiay nangato a bantay, napanda nga is-isuda laeng. Ket nagbaliw ti langana iti sangoananda.
After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John and led them up on a high mountain alone by themselves. Then He was transfigured in front of them;
3 Rimmanniag ti pagan-anayna, kasta unay ti pudawna, napudpudaw ngem iti mabalin a panangpapudaw ti siasinoman a mangpappapudaw ditoy daga.
His clothing became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth is able to whiten.
4 Kalpasanna, nagparang da Elias ken Moises kadakuada, ken makisarsarita dagitoy ken ni Jesus.
And Elijah appeared to them, along with Moses, and they were conversing with Jesus.
Well Peter reacted by saying to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; let us make three shelters: one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”
6 (Ta saan nga ammo ni Pedro ti ibagana, ta kasta unay ti panagbutengda.)
(Because they were terrified, he didn't know what to say.)
7 Adda ulep nga immay nanglinong kadakuada. Ket adda timek a nagtaud iti ulep, “Daytoy ti Anakko a dungdungoek. Dumngegkayo kenkuana.”
With that a cloud was covering them and a Voice came out of the cloud: “This is my Son, the beloved. Listen to Him!”
8 Pagamoan, idi kimmitada iti aglawlaw, awan nakitada a kaduada, ngem ni laeng Jesus.
And then, looking around, they no longer saw anyone with them except Jesus.
9 Idi sumalsalogda iti bantay, binilinna ida nga awan ti siasinoman a pangibagaanda iti nakitada, agingga nga agungar ti Anak ti Tao manipud kadagiti natay.
Now as they were coming down from the mountain, He ordered them not to recount to any one the things they had seen until the Son of the Man had risen from the dead.
10 Isu nga inlimedda ti maipapan iti dayta, ngem tinaratarda ti kayat a sawen ti “agungar manipud kadagiti natay.”
So they kept this word to themselves, questioning what the ‘rising from the dead’ meant.
11 Sinaludsodda kenkuana, “Apay nga ibagbaga dagiti eskriba a masapul nga umay nga umuna ni Elias?”
And they asked Him, saying, “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
12 Kinunana kadakuada, “Pudno nga umay nga umuna ni Elias tapno tarimaanenna dagiti amin a banbanag. Ket apay a naisurat a masapul nga agsagaba ti Anak ti Tao iti adu a banbanag ken guraento isuna dagiti tattao?
So in answer He said to them: “Elijah indeed does come first, and restores all things; also how it is written concerning the Son of the Man that He must suffer many things and be treated with contempt.
13 Ngem ibagak kadakayo nga immayen ni Elias, ket inaramidda kenkuana ti aniaman a kinaykayatda, a kas iti imbaga ti Nasantoan a Surat maipanggep kenkuana.”
Still, I say to you that ‘Elijah’ has also come, and they did to him as they wished, as it is written about him.”
14 Idi nagsublida iti ayan dagiti dadduma nga adalan, nakitada ti adu a tattao iti aglawlawda, ken makirinrinnikiar dagiti eskriba kadakuada.
Upon coming to the disciples, He saw a large crowd around them, and scribes arguing with them.
15 Ket idi nakita dagitoy ni Jesus, kasta unay a siddaaw dagiti adu a tattao; ket nagtatarayda a napan a mangkablaaw kenkuana.
Well as soon as the crowd saw Him they were excited and ran to greet Him.
16 Sinaludsodna dagiti adalanna, “Ania ti pakirinrinnikiaranyo kadakuada?”
He asked the scribes, “What are you discussing with them?”
17 Adda maysa manipud kadagiti adu a tattao ti simmungbat kenkuana, “Manursuro, inyegko kenka daytoy anakko; addaan isuna iti espiritu a nangpa-umel kenkuana,
In answer a man in the crowd said: “Teacher, I brought you my son, who has a mute spirit.
18 ken isu’t mangpasulag ken mangpalusdoy kenkuana, aglabutab ti ngiwatna, pagngaritngitenna ti ngipenna, ken agpasikkil sumikkil isuna. Dinawatko kadagiti adalam a paksiatenda daytoy manipud kenkuana, ngem saanda a kabaelan.
And wherever it seizes him it throws him down, and he foams at the mouth and gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. Indeed, I spoke to your disciples, that they might cast it out, but they could not.”
19 Sinungbatanna isuda, “Henerasion a saan a mamati, kasanon kabayag ti masapul a pannakipagtalinaedko kadakayo? Kasano pay a kabayag ti pananganusko kadakayo? Iyegyo isuna kaniak.”
But He answered him by saying: “O unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you, how long shall I put up with you? Bring him to me!”
20 Inyegda kenkuana ti ubing. Idi nakita ti espiritu ni Jesus, dagus a pinagsulag ti espiritu ti ubing. Natumba ti ubing iti daga ken naglabutab ti ngiwatna.
So they brought him to Him. Upon seeing Him the spirit convulsed him, and falling to the ground he started wallowing, foaming at the mouth.
21 Sinaludsod ni Jesus ti ama ti ubing, “Kaano pay a kastoy isuna?” Kinuna ti ama, “Sipud pay idi kaubingna.
Then He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said: “From childhood.
22 Masansan nga ipurwak isuna ti espirtu iti apuy wenno iti danum ken pinadpadas daytoy a dadaelen isuna. No kabaelam nga aramiden ti uray ania, kaassiannakami ken tulongannakami.”
Really, it has often thrown him both into fire and into water to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”
23 Kinuna ni Jesus kenkuana, “'No kabaelam'? Amin a banbanag ket mabalin a mapasamak iti siasinoman a mamati.”
Jesus said to him, “It's ‘if you can believe’; all things are possible to the one who believes.”
24 Dagus a nagpukkaw ti ama ti ubing ket kinunana, “Mamatiak! Tulongannak iti saanko a panamati!”
Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”
25 Idi nakita ni Jesus nga agtataray dagiti adu a tattao a mapan kadakuada, inungtanna ti dakes nga espiritu ket kinunana, “Sika nga umel ken tuleng nga espiritu, bilinenka, rummuarka manipud kenkuana, ket saankan a sumrek kenkuana iti kaanoman.”
When Jesus saw that the crowd was running up, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I am commanding you, get out of him and never enter him again!”
26 Nagikkis ti espiritu sana pinagsulag ti ubing iti kasta unay sa rimmuar. Kasla bangkay ti langa ti ubing, isu nga adu ti nagkuna, “Natayen isuna.”
Then it yelled, convulsed him violently, and came out. Well he looked to be dead; so much so that many said, “He's dead.”
27 Ngem iniggaman ni Jesus ti ima ti ubing ket pinatakderna, ket timmakder ti ubing.
But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he stayed on his feet.
28 Idi simrek ni Jesus iti balay, sililimed a sinaludsod isuna dagiti adalanna, “Apay a saanmi a mapaksiat?”
Well upon His entering a house His disciples asked Him privately, “Why couldn't we cast it out?”
29 Kinunana kadakuada, “Daytoy a kita ti dakes nga espiritu ket saan a mapaksiat malaksid no babaen iti kararag.”
He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing except prayer and fasting.”
30 Rimmuarda sadiay ket nagnada idiay Galilea. Saan a kayat ni Jesus a maamoan ti uray siasino no sadino ti ayanda,
Having gone out from there they were passing through Galilee, and He did not want anyone to know;
31 ta isursuroanna dagiti adalanna. Kinunana kadakuada, “Maiyawatto ti Anak ti Tao kadagiti ima dagiti lallaki, ket patayendanto isuna. Inton napapatayen, agungarto isuna kalpasan ti tallo nga aldaw.”
because He was teaching His disciples and saying to them, “The Son of the Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill him; and once killed he will rise on the third day.”
32 Ngem saanda a naawatan daytoy a sarita, ken mabutengda nga agsaludsod kenkuana.
But they were not understanding this information, yet were afraid to ask Him.
33 Ket dimmanonda idiay Capernaum. Ket idi adda isuna iti balay, sinaludsodna dagiti adalanna,” Ania ti pagtutungtonganyo itay iti dalan?”
Then He came to Capernaum; and once in the house He asked them, “What were you debating among yourselves on the road?”
34 Ngem saanda a nagtagtagari. Ta nagririnnikiaranda iti dalan no siasino ti katatan-okan.
But they kept silent, because on the road they had debated among themselves who was greater.
35 Nagtugaw isuna ket inayabanna dagiti Sangapulo ket Dua. Kinunana kadakuada, “No addaman ti kayatna nga umuna, masapul nga agpaudi ken agpaadipen iti amin.”
So He sat down, called the twelve and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”
36 Nangala isuna iti maysa nga ubing ket pinatakderna iti nagtetengngaanda. Binagkatna ti ubing ket kinunana kadakuada,
Then He took a child and stood him in their midst, and embracing him said to them,
37 “Siasinoman a mangawat iti kastoy nga ubing iti naganko, awatennak met, ken no adda mangawat kaniak, saan laeng a siak ti awatenna, ngem awatenna pay ti nangibaon kaniak.”
“Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives not only me, but the One who sent me.”
38 Kinuna ni Juan kenkuana, “Mannursuro, adda nakitami a mangpakpaksiat kadagiti demonio iti naganmo ket pinasardengmi isuna, gapu ta saan a sumursurot kadatayo.”
So John answered Him saying, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, one who doesn't follow us; and we forbade him, because he doesn't follow us.”
39 Ngem kinuna ni Jesus, “Saanyo a pasardengen isuna. Ta awan ti siasinoman a mabalin a makaaramid iti nabileg nga aramid iti naganko ket kalpasanna, agsao-saonton iti aniaman a dakes maipanggep kaniak.
But Jesus said: “Do not forbid him, because no one who works a miracle in my name can soon afterward speak evil of me.
40 “Siasinoman a saan a maibusor kadatayo ket kaduatayo.
For he who is not against you is for you.
41 Siasinoman a mangted kadakayo iti sangabaso a danum nga inumen gapu ta kukuanakayo ni Cristo, pudno ibagak kadakayo, saannanto a mapukaw ti gunggonana.
Further, whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you are Christ's, I tell you with certainty, he will by no means lose his reward.
42 Siasinoman a pakaigapuan ti pannakaitublak ti maysa kadagitoy nga ubbing a namati kaniak, nasaysayaat para kenkuana a magalutan ti tengngedna iti dakkel a paggilingan a bato ket maitappuak iti baybay.
“Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe into me to fall, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.
43 No ti imam ti mangipatibkol kenka, putdem. Nasaysayaat a pukolka a sumrek iti biag ngem ti addaanka iti dua nga ima a mapan idiay impierno, iti apuy a saan a maiddep. (Geenna g1067)
Further, if your hand is causing you to fall, cut it off; it is better for you to enter into the Life maimed than having both hands to go away into Gehenna, into the unquenchable fire— (Geenna g1067)
where ‘their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.’
45 No ti sakam ti mangipatublak kenka, putdem. Nasaysayaat a pilayka a sumrek iti biag, ngem ti addaan iti dua a saka, a maitappuak idiay impierno. (Geenna g1067)
And if your foot is causing you to fall, cut it off; it is better for you to enter into the Life lame than having both feet to be thrown into Gehenna, into the unquenchable fire— (Geenna g1067)
where ‘their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.’
47 No ti matam ti mangipatublak kenka, suatem. Nasaysayaat a sumrekka iti pagarian ti Dios a buldingka ngem ti addaan iti dua a mata a maitappuak idiay impierno, (Geenna g1067)
And if your eye is causing you to fall, pluck it out; it is better for you to enter into the Kingdom of God with one eye than having both eyes to be thrown into the Gehenna of fire— (Geenna g1067)
48 iti disso a saan a matay dagiti iggesna, ken saan a maiddep ti apuy.
where ‘the worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.’
49 ti tunggal maysa ket maasinan iti apuy.
“Further, everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.
50 Nasayaat ti asin, ngem no mapukaw ti asin ti kinaapgadna, kasano a mapaapgadyo manen daytoy? Maaddaankayo iti asin, ket maaddaankayo iti panagkakapia.”
Salt is good, but if the salt loses its saltiness, with what will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”
