< Lucas 16 >

1 Kinuna pay ni Hesus kadagiti adalanna, “Adda maysa nga baknang nga addaan iti mangimatmaton, ken naipadamag kenkuana nga busbusbosen ti mangimatmaton dagiti kinabaknangna.
And he said also to his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused to him that he had wasted his goods.
2 Inayaban ngarud ti baknang ti mangimatmaton ket kinunana, 'Ania daytoy a madamdamag ko maipanggep kenka? Itedmo kaniak ti listaan dagiti amin a naaramidam, ta saan kan nga mangimaton.'
And he called him, and said to him, How is it that I hear this of you? give an account of your stewardship; for you may be no longer steward.
3 Kinuna ti mangimatmaton iti bagina, 'Ania ti nasken nga aramidek, agsipud ta alaenen ti amongko iti trabahok nga mangimaton? Saanko met nga kabaelan ti agkali, ken mabainak met nga agpakaasi.
Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord takes away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
4 Ammokon ti aramidek, tapno inton maikkatak iti trabahok, awatendakto dagiti tattao iti babbalayda.'
I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.
5 Inayaban ngarud ti mangimatmaton ti tunggal maysa kadagiti nakabulod iti amongna ket dinamagna iti immuna, 'Mano ti binulodmo iti amongko?'
So he called every one of his lord’s debtors to him, and said to the first, How much owe you to my lord?
6 Ket kinunana, 'Sangagasut a rukod iti lana ti olibo,' Ket kinunana kenkuana, 'Alaem ti listaan, agtugawka nga dagus ket isuratmo iti limapulo.'
And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said to him, Take your bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.
7 Ket kinuna ti mangimatmaton iti maysa, 'Ket mano ti utangmo?' Kinunana, 'Sangagasut a rukod iti trigo.' Kinunana kenkuana, 'Alaem ti listaam, ket isuratmo ti walopulo.'
Then said he to another, And how much owe you? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said to him, Take your bill, and write fourscore.
8 Dinayaw ngarud ti baknang ti saan a nalinteg a mangimatmaton gapu iti inaramidna a kinasikap. Ta dagiti annak daytoy a lubong ket ad-adda iti kinasikapda no maipanggep kadagiti tattaoda, ngem dagiti annak iti lawag. (aiōn g165)
And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light. (aiōn g165)
9 Ibagak daytoy kadakayo, makigayyemkayo babaen kadagiti kinabaknang ditoy lubong, tapno inton awanen, mabalin nga pasangbayen dakayo idiay agnanayon a pagtaengan. (aiōnios g166)
And I say to you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when you fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations. (aiōnios g166)
10 Siasinoman a mapagtalkan iti bassit ket mapagtalkan met iti adu, ken siasinoman a saan nga mapagtalkan iti bassit ket saan met a mapagtalkan iti adu.
He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
11 Ngarud, no saankayo a mapagtalkan iti panangusaryo iti kinabaknang ditoy lubong, siasino ti mangitalek kadakayo iti pudno nga kinabaknang?
If therefore you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
12 Kastamet, a no saankayo nga mapagtalkan iti banag nga kukua ti sabali, siasino ti mangted kadakayo iti bukodyo?
And if you have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?
13 Awan adipen a mabalinna ti agserbi iti duwa nga amo, ta masapul nga guraenna ti maysa ken ipategna ti maysa. Wenno agbalin a napasnek iti maysa ken umsienna ti maysa. Saankayo nga makapagserbi iti Dios ken iti kinabaknang.”
No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
14 Idi nangngeg daytoy dagiti Pariseo a mangay-ayat iti kuarta, pinagang-angawanda isuna.
And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.
15 Ket imbagana kadakuada, “Palintegenyo dagiti bagbagiyo iti imatang dagiti tattao, ngem ammo ti Dios ti puspusoyo. Agsipud ta ti nangato iti imatang dagiti tattao ket makapakarurod iti imatang ti Dios.
And he said to them, You are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knows your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
16 Maar-aramat ti linteg ken dagiti propeta agingga nga immay ni Juan. Manipud idi, ti naimbag a damag ti pagarian ti Dios ket naikasaba, ken tunggal maysa ket padpadasenda nga ipilit ti wagas da iti daytoy.
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presses into it.
17 Ngem nalaklaka a mapukaw ti langit ken daga ngem iti pannakaawan-serbi ti maysa nga letra iti linteg.
And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one pronunciation mark of the law to fail.
18 Tunggal maysa a mangisina iti asawana a babai ken mangasawa iti sabali ket nakikamalala, ken siasinoman a mangasawa iti babai nga naisina iti asawana ket nakikamalala.
Whoever puts away his wife, and marries another, commits adultery: and whoever marries her that is put away from her husband commits adultery.
19 Itatta adda maysa nga baknang a nakakawes iti maris-lila ken pino nga lino, ken inaldaw a ragragsakenna ti kinabaknangna.
There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 Adda met maysa nga agpalpalama a managan Lazaro nga adda iti ruanganna ken napunno iti gaddil,
And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 ket kanayon nga agtartarigagay nga mapakan iti aniaman nga matinnag iti lamisaan ti baknang - malaksid iti dayta, umay pay dagiti aso a mangdilpat kadagiti gaddilna.
And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 Ti napasamak ket natay ti agpalpalama ket impan dagiti anghel iti sibay ni Abraham. Natay met ti baknang ket naitabon,
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 ket idiay hades, idi madama nga agsagsagaba, inngatona iti panagkitana ket nakitana iti adayo ni Lasaro nga nakasanggir iti barukong ni Abraham. (Hadēs g86)
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and sees Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. (Hadēs g86)
24 Ket inyikkisna a kunana, 'Ama Abraham, kaasiannak koma. Ibaonmo ni Lazaro ta basaenna ti murdong ti ramayna iti danom, ket umayna isagid ditoy dilak, ta agsagsagabaak unay iti daytoy nga apuy.'
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 Ngem insungbat ni Abraham, 'Anak, laglagipem nga inawatmo dagiti agkakaimbag a banbanag iti unos ti panagbiagmo, ket inawat met ni Lazaro dagiti agkakadakes a banbanag. Ngem ita ket adda ditoy a maliwliwa,
But Abraham said, Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and you are tormented.
26 ket addaka iti nakaro a panagrigat. Ken malaksid kadagitoy, adda dakkel a yuyeng nga nalagda a naikabil, tapno dagiti adda ditoy a kayatna ti bumallasiw ket saan a makapan dita, ken awan makaumay ditoy nga aggapu dita.'
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from there.
27 Kinuna ti baknang, 'Agpakpakaasiak kenka, Ama Abraham, nga ibaonmo isuna idiay balay ni amak -
Then he said, I pray you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house:
28 ta adda lima nga kakabsat ko a lallaki - tapno maballaaganna isuda, tapno agbutengda ket saanda met nga umay iti daytoy nga lugar a pagtutuokan.'
For I have five brothers; that he may testify to them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Ngem kinuna ni Abraham, 'Adda kadakuada ni Moises ken dagiti propeta; bay-am nga dumngegda kadakuada.'
Abraham says to him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 Insungbat ti baknang, 'Saan, Ama Abraham, ngem no adda maysa nga mapan kadakuada manipud kadagiti natay, agbabawida.'
And he said, No, father Abraham: but if one went to them from the dead, they will repent.
31 Ngem imbaga ni Abraham kenkuana, 'No saanda nga dumngeg kenni Moises ken kadagiti propeta, saanda met laeng nga maallukoy uray adda agbiag manipud ken patay.'
And he said to him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
