< Job 36 >

1 Nagtultuloy ni Elihu ket kinunana,
Elihu continued on and said,
2 “Palubosannak pay nga agsao iti ababa, ket ipakitak kenka ti maysa a banag gapu ta adda pay bassit nga ibagak a mangikanawa iti Dios.
“Permit me to speak a little longer, and I will show you some things because I have a little more to say in defense of God.
3 Ibingayko ti pannakaammok manipud iti adayo a lugar; bigbigek a ti kinalinteg ket naggapu iti Namarsua kaniak.
I will obtain my knowledge from far off; I will acknowledge that righteousness belongs to my Maker.
4 Ta pudno, saan a pumalso dagiti sasaok; kaduam ti maysa a nataengan iti pannakaammo.
For indeed, my words will not be false; someone who is mature in knowledge is with you.
5 Kitaem, mannakabalin ti Dios, ken awan ti um-umsienna; maawatanna amin a banbanag.
See, God is mighty, and despises no one; he is mighty in strength of understanding.
6 Saanna nga an-annadan ti biag dagiti nadangkes a tattao ngem ketdi ar-aramidenna iti umno para kadagiti agsagsagaba.
He does not preserve the life of wicked people but instead does what is right for those who suffer.
7 Saanna nga ik-ikaten ti panagkitana manipud kadagiti nalinteg a tattao ngem ketdi isaadna ida kadagiti trono a kasla kadagiti ari iti agnanayon, ket maitag-ayda.
He does not withdraw his eyes from righteous people but instead sets them on thrones like kings forever, and they are lifted up.
8 No, kas pangarigan, mabaludda, no mapalab-uganda iti tali ti panagsagaba,
If they are bound in chains and trapped in cords of suffering,
9 ket ipakpakitana kadakuada ti inaramidda—dagiti naglabsinganda ken ti panagtignayda a sitatangsit.
then he reveals to them what they have done, and their transgressions and their pride.
10 Luklukatanna pay dagiti lapayagda kadagiti bilbilinna, ken bilbilininenna ida a tumallikod manipud iti panagaramid iti basol.
He also opens their ears to his instruction, and commands them to turn back from iniquity.
11 No dumngegda kenkuana ken dayawenda isuna, gugurendanto dagiti aldawda iti kinarang-ay, dagiti tawtawenda iti pannakapnek.
If they listen to him and worship him, they will spend their days in prosperity, their years in contentment.
12 Nupay kasta, no saanda a dumngeg, mapapatayda babaen iti kampilan; mataydanto gapu ta awan ti pannakaammoda.
However, if they do not listen, they will perish by the sword; they will die because they have no knowledge.
13 Dagiti awan iti dios ti pusoda ket mapenpen dagiti pungtotda; saanda a dumawat iti tulong uray no itali ida ti Dios.
Those who are godless in heart store up their anger; they do not cry out for help even when God ties them up.
14 Matayda iti kinaagtutuboda; agpatingga dagiti bibiagda kadagiti balangkantis.
They die in their youth; their lives end among the cultic prostitutes.
15 Is-ispalen ti Dios dagiti tattao nga agrigrigat babaen iti pannakaparparigatda; luklukatanna dagiti lapayagda babaen iti pannakaidadanesda.
God rescues afflicted people by means of their afflictions; he opens their ears by means of their oppression.
16 Pudno, kayatnaka nga ilung-aw iti rigat nga agturong iti nalawa a lugar nga awan iti rigat ken iti lugar a mapno ti lamisaanmo iti taraon na napnoan iti taba.
Indeed, he would like to draw you out of distress into a broad place where there is no hardship and where your table would be set with food full of fatness.
17 Ngem napnoanka iti pammabasol kadagiti nadangkes a tattao; tinengngelnaka ti pannakaukom ken hustisia.
But you are full of judgment on wicked people; judgment and justice have laid hold of you.
18 Saanmo nga ipalubos nga allilawennaka ti kinabaknang; saanmo nga ipalubos a ti dakkel a gatad ti pasoksok ti mangibaw-ing kenka manipud iti hustisia.
Do not let your anger entice you to mockery, or the greatness of a ransom to turn you aside.
19 Adda kadi ti pagsayaatan a maitedna kenka ti kinabaknangmo, tapno saanka nga agrigat, wenno matulongannaka kadi ti amin a pigsam?
Can your wealth benefit you, so that you will not be in distress, or can all the force of your strength help you?
20 Saanmo a tarigagayan ti rabii nga agaramid iti basol kadagiti dadduma, no napapanaw dagiti tattao iti lugarda.
Do not desire the night, to commit sin against others, when peoples are cut off in their place.
21 Agannadka a saanka nga agsubli iti pannagbasol gapu ta masusuotka babaen iti panagsagaba tapno maiyadayoka manipud iti panagbasol.
Be careful that you do not turn to sin because you are being tested by suffering so that you will stay away from sinning.
22 Kitaem, naitag-ay ti Dios iti pannakabalinna; siasino ti manursuro a kas kenkuana?
See, God is exalted in his power; who is a teacher like him?
23 Siasino iti nangisuro kenkuana maipanggep iti wagasna? Siasino ti makaibaga kenkuana, 'Saan a nalinteg ti inaramidmo?'
Who has ever instructed him about his way? Who can ever say to him, 'You have committed unrighteousness?'
24 Laglagipem a dayawen dagiti aramidna, nga inkanta dagiti tattao.
Remember to praise his deeds, of which people have sung.
25 Nakita amin a tattao dagidiay nga aramid, ngem makitada laeng dagidiay nga aramid manipud iti adayo.
All people have looked on those deeds, but they see those deeds only from far away.
26 Kitaem, naindaklan ti Dios, ngem saantayo unay a maawatan isuna; saan a mabilang ti tawtawenna.
See, God is great, but we do not understand him well; the number of his years is incalculable.
27 Ta ipangpangatona dagiti tedted ti danum nga agbalin a tudo manipud iti alingasawna,
For he draws up the drops of water that he distills as rain from his vapor,
28 nga aglaplapusanan nga ibukbukbok ken itintinnag dagiti ulep iti sangkataoan.
which the clouds pour down and drop in abundance on mankind.
29 Pudno, maawatan kadi ti siasinoman ti kinalawa dagiti ul-ulep ken dagiti gurruod manipud kadagiti toldana?
Indeed, can anyone understand the extensive spread of the clouds and the thunder from his hut?
30 Kitaem, ipalpalikmotna ti kimatna iti bagina; kalkalubanna ti taaw iti kinasipnget.
See, he spreads his lightning around him and covers the roots of the sea.
31 Iti daytoy a wagas pakpakanenna dagiti tattao ken mangmangted iti aglaplapusanan a taraon.
In this way he judges the peoples and gives food in abundance.
32 Kalkalubanna kadagiti imana dagiti kimat aginggana nga ibaonna dagitoy a tiroenda dagiti puntada.
He fills his hands with the lightning until he commands it to strike its mark.
33 Dagiti daranudorda ti mangibagbaga kadagiti tattao nga adda iti paumay a bagyo; ammo met ti ayup ti panagsangpetna.
Its thunder warns of the storm, the cattle can also hear it is coming.
