1 Mgbe ụbọchị izuike gafere, Meri Magdalin na Meri nne Jemis na Salomi zụtara ụda dị iche iche ha ga-eji tee ahụ ya mmanụ.
And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the [mother] of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
2 Nʼisi ụtụtụ ụbọchị mbụ nke izu, mgbe anyanwụ wara, ha biliri gawa nʼili ahụ.
And very early in the morning, the first [day] of the week, they came to the sepulcher at the rising of the sun:

And they said among themselves, Who shall roll away for us the stone from the door of the sepulcher?

(And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away) for it was very great.
5 Mgbe ha banyere nʼime ili ahụ, ha hụrụ otu nwokorobịa yi uwe ọcha ka ọ nọdụrụ ala nʼakụkụ aka nri nke ili ahụ. Ha tụrụ oke egwu.
And entering into the sepulcher, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were frightened.
6 Ma ọ sịrị ha, “Unu atụla egwu. Unu na-achọ Jisọs onye Nazaret a kpọgidere nʼobe. E meela ka o site nʼọnwụ bilie! Ọ nọkwaghị nʼebe a. Lee ebe e nibere ya.
And he saith to them, Be not frightened: ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him:
7 Ma gaanụ gwa ndị na-eso ụzọ ya nakwa Pita, ‘O burula unu ụzọ gawa Galili. Ebe ahụ ka unu ga-ahụ ya dị ka ọ gwararịị unu.’”
But go, tell his disciples and Peter, that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said to you.
8 Ha gbapụtara site nʼili ahụ, nʼọnọdụ mgbagwoju anya na ahụ ịma jijiji. Ha akọrọghị onye ọbụla ihe ọbụla, nʼihi na egwu jupụtara ha obi.
And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulcher; for they trembled, and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any [man]; for they were afraid.

(note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) Now when [Jesus] was risen early, the first [day] of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven demons.

[And] she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.

And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, believed not.
12 Mgbe ihe ndị a gasịrị, o gosiri mmadụ abụọ nʼime ha onwe ya nʼụdị ọzọ, mgbe ha na-abanye nʼime obodo.
After that, he appeared in another form to two of them, as they were walking and going into the country.
13 Ndị a laghachiri bịa kọọrọ ndị nke ọzọ ma ha ekwetakwaghị.
And they went and told [it] to the residue: neither believed they them.
14 Emesịa, Jisọs gosiri ndị na-eso ụzọ ya iri na otu ahụ onwe ya, mgbe ha nọkọrọ na-eri nri. Ọ baara ha mba nʼihi enweghị okwukwe ha nakwa mkpọchi obi ha, nʼihi na ha jụrụ ikwenye nʼihe ndị ọzọ hụrụ ya gwara ha mgbe e mesịrị ka ọ si nʼọnwụ bilite.
Afterward he appeared to the eleven, as they sat at table, and upbraided them with their unbelief, and hardness of heart, because they believed not them who had seen him after he was risen.
15 Ọ gwara ha sị, “Gaanụ nʼime ụwa niile kwusaara ihe niile e kere eke oziọma.
And he said to them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 Onye ọbụla kweerenụ na onye e mekwara baptizim ka a ga-azọpụta. Ma a ga-ama onye ọbụla na-ekwereghị ikpe.
He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 Ihe ịrịbama ndị a ga-esokwa ndị kwerenụ. Site nʼaha m, ha ga-achụpụ mmụọ ọjọọ; kwuokwa okwu nʼasụsụ ọhụrụ dị iche iche.
And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak in new languages;
18 Ha ga-eji aka ha abụọ atụtụlie agwọ, ṅụọkwa nsi ma ọ gaghị emerụ ha ahụ ma otu. Ha ga-ebikwasị ndị ọrịa aka, ahụ ga-adịkwa ha mma.”
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 Mgbe Onyenwe anyị Jisọs gwasịrị ha okwu ndị a, e weliri ya elu, baa nʼeluigwe, ebe ọ nọdụ ala nʼakụkụ aka nri Chineke.
So then after the Lord had spoken to them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 Ha pụrụ kwusaa oziọma nʼebe niile. Onyenwe anyị nọnyekwaara ha, mee ka okwu ya guzosie ike site nʼihe ịrịbama dị iche iche nke na-eso ya.
And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with [them], and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
