4 Mózes 19

1 Szóla azután az Úr Mózesnek és Áronnak, mondván:

And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,

2 Ez a törvény rendelése, a melyet parancsolt az Úr, mondván: Szólj Izráel fiainak, hogy hozzanak hozzád egy veres tehenet, épet, a melyben ne legyen hiba, a melynek nyakán iga nem volt.

This is the constitution of the law, as the Lord has commanded, saying, Speak to the sons of Israel, and let them take for you a red heifer without spot, which has no spot on her, and on which no yoke has been put.

3 És adjátok azt Eleázárnak, a papnak, és ő vitesse ki azt a táboron kivül, és öljék meg azt ő előtte.

And you shall give her to Eleazar the priest; and they shall bring her out of the camp into a clean place, and shall kill her before his face.

4 És vegyen Eleázár, a pap annak véréből az ő újjával, és hintsen a gyülekezet sátorának eleje felé annak véréből hétszer.

And Eleazar shall take of her blood, and sprinkle of her blood seven times in front of the tabernacle of witness.

5 Azután égessék meg azt a tehenet az ő szemei előtt; annak bőrét, húsát, és vérét a ganéjával együtt égessék meg.

And they shall burn her to ashes before him; and her skin and her flesh and her blood, with her dung, shall be consumed.

6 Akkor vegyen a pap czédrusfát, izsópot és karmazsint, és vesse a tehénnek égő részei közé.

And the priest shall take cedar wood and hyssop and scarlet wool, and they shall cast them into the midst of the burning of the heifer.

7 És mossa meg a pap az ő ruháit, az ő testét is mossa le vízzel, és azután menjen be a táborba, és tisztátalan legyen a pap estvéig.

And the priest shall wash his garments, and bathe his body in water, and afterwards he shall go into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean till evening.

8 Az is, a ki megégeti azt, mossa meg az ő ruháit vízzel, és az ő testét is mossa le vízzel, és tisztátalan legyen estvéig.

And he that burns her shall wash his garments, and bathe his body, and shall be unclean till evening.

9 Valamely tiszta ember pedig szedje fel annak a tehénnek hamvát, és helyezze el azt a táboron kivűl tiszta helyre, hogy legyen az Izráel fiai gyülekezetének szolgálatára a tisztulásnak vizéhez; bűnért való áldozat ez.

And a clean man shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up in a clean place outside the camp; and they shall be for the congregation of the children of Israel to keep: it is the water of sprinkling, a purification.

10 És az, a ki felszedi a tehénnek hamvát, mossa meg az ő ruháit, és tisztátalan legyen estvéig; és legyen ez Izráel fiainak és a köztök tartózkodó jövevénynek örök rendelésül.

And he that gathers up the ashes of the heifer shall wash his garments, and shall be unclean until evening; and it shall be a perpetual statute for the children of Israel and for the strangers joined to them.

11 A ki illeti akármely embernek a holttestét, és tisztátalanná lesz hét napig:

He that touches the dead body of any man, shall be unclean seven days.

12 Az olyan tisztítsa meg magát azzal a vízzel harmadnapon és hetednapon, és tiszta lesz; ha pedig nem tisztítja meg magát harmadnapon és hetednapon, akkor nem lesz tiszta.

He shall be purified on the third day and the seventh day, and shall be clean; but if he be not purged on the third day and the seventh day, he shall not be clean.

13 Valaki holtat illet, bármely embert a ki megholt, és meg nem tisztítja magát, az megfertézteti az Úrnak hajlékát; és irtassék ki az a lélek Izráelből mivelhogy tisztulásnak vize nem hintetett ő reá, tisztátalan lesz; még rajta van az ő tisztátalansága.

Every one that touches the carcase of the person of a man, if he should have died, and [the other] not have been purified, has defiled the tabernacle of the Lord: that soul shall be cut off from Israel, because the water of sprinkling has not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.

14 Ez legyen a törvény, mikor valaki sátorban hal meg. Mindaz, a ki bemegy a sátorba, és mindaz, a ki ott van a sátorban, tisztátalan legyen hét napig.

And this [is] the law; if a man die in a house, every one that goes into the house, and all things in the house, shall be unclean seven days.

15 Minden nyitott edény is, a melyen nincs lezárható fedél, tisztátalan.

And every open vessel which has not a covering bound upon it, shall be unclean.

16 És mindaz, a ki illet a mezőn fegyverrel megöletettet, vagy megholtat, vagy emberi csontot, vagy sírt, tisztátalan legyen hét napig.

And every one who shall touch a man slain by violence, or a corpse, or human bone, or sepulchre, shall be unclean seven days.

17 És vegyenek a tisztátalanért a bűnért való megégetett áldozatnak hamvából, és töltsenek arra élő vizet edénybe.

And they shall take for the unclean of the burnt ashes of purification, and they shall pour upon them running water into a vessel.

18 Valamely tiszta ember pedig vegyen izsópot, és mártsa azt vízbe, és hintse meg a sátort és minden edényt, és minden embert, a kik ott lesznek; és azt is, a ki a csontot, vagy a megöltet, vagy a megholtat, vagy a koporsót illette.

And a clean man shall take hyssop, and dip it into the water, and sprinkle it upon the house, and the furniture, and all the souls that are therein, and upon him that touched the human bone, or the slain man, or the corpse, or the tomb.

19 Hintse pedig meg a tiszta a tisztátalant harmadnapon és hetednapon, és tisztítsa meg őt hetednapon; azután mossa meg az ő ruháit, mossa le magát is vízzel, és tiszta lesz estve.

And the clean man shall sprinkle [the water] on the unclean on the third day and on the seventh day, and on the seventh day he shall purify himself; and [the other] shall wash his garments, and bathe himself in water, and shall be unclean until evening.

20 Ha pedig valaki tisztátalanná lesz, és nem tisztítja meg magát, az a lélek irtassék ki a község közűl; mivelhogy az Úrnak szenthelyét megfertéztette, a tisztulásnak vize nem hintetett ő reá, tisztátalan az.

And whatever man shall be defiled and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from the midst of the congregation, because he has defiled the holy things of the Lord, because the water of sprinkling has not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.

21 Ez legyen ő nálok örök rendelésül: mind az, a ki hinti a tisztulásnak vizét, mossa meg az ő ruháit; mind az, a ki illeti a tisztulásnak vizét, tisztátalan legyen estvéig.

And it shall be to you a perpetual statute; and he that sprinkles the water of sprinkling shall wash his garments; and he that touches the water of sprinkling shall be unclean until evening.

22 És valamit illet a tisztátalan, tisztátalan legyen az; és az a lélek is, a ki illeti azt, tisztátalan legyen estvéig.

And whatever the unclean man shall touch shall be unclean, and the soul that touches it shall be unclean till evening.
