Józsué 21
1 És hozzámenének a Léviták atyai fejedelmei Eleázárhoz, a paphoz, és Józsuéhoz, a Nún fiához és az atyai fejedelmekhez, a kik valának Izráel fiainak nemzetségei felett,
Then came near the heads of the fathers of the Levites to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel;
2 És szólának nékik Silóban, a Kanaán földén, mondván: Az Úr megparancsolta Mózes által, hogy adjatok nékünk városokat lakóhelyül, és azokhoz való legelőket barmaink részére.
And they spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with their suburbs for our cattle.
3 Adák azért Izráel fiai a Lévitáknak az ő örökségökből, az Úrnak rendelése szerint, ezeket a városokat és azoknak legelőit.
And the children of Israel gave to the Levites out of their inheritance, at the commandment of the LORD, these cities and their suburbs.
4 Esék pedig a sors a Kehátiták családjaira, és juta a Léviták közül való Áron pap fiainak a Júda nemzetségétől, a Simeon nemzetségétől és a Benjámin nemzetségétől sors szerint tizenhárom város;
And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, [who were] of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.
5 Kehát többi fiainak pedig az Efraim nemzetségének családjaitól, Dán nemzetségétől és Manassé fél nemzetségétől sors szerint tíz város.
And the rest of the children of Kohath [had] by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.
6 A Gerson fiainak pedig az Issakhár nemzetségének családjaitól, az Áser nemzetségétől, a Nafthali nemzetségétől és Manassénak Básánban levő fél nemzetségétől sors szerint tizenhárom város;
And the children of Gershon [had] by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
7 Mérári fiainak az ő családjaik szerint a Rúben nemzetségétől, Gád nemzetségétől és Zebulon nemzetségétől tizenkét város.
The children of Merari by their families [had] out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
8 Adák azért Izráel fiai e városokat és ezeknek legelőit a Lévitáknak, a miképen megparancsolta vala az Úr Mózes által, sors szerint.
And the children of Israel gave by lot to the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
9 Adák pedig a Júda fiainak nemzetségéből és Simeon fiainak nemzetségéből ezeket a városokat, a melyek névszerint olvashatók.
And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are [here] mentioned by name,
10 És lőn, hogy esék a sors először a Lévi fiai közül való Kehátnak családjaiból az Áron fiaira.
Which the children of Aaron, [being] of the families of the Kohathites, [who were] of the children of Levi, had: for theirs was the first lot.
11 És adák nékik az Anák atyjának városát, Kirjáth-Arbát, azaz Hebront a Júda hegyén, és annak körülötte levő legelőit;
And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak (which [city is] Hebron) in the hill -[country] of Judah, with its suburbs round it.
12 A városnak szántóföldjét és faluit pedig Kálebnek, a Jefunné fiának adák birtokául.
But the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.
13 Az Áron pap fiainak pedig adák a gyilkosok menekülésének városát, Hebront és annak legelőjét, Libnát és annak legelőjét.
Thus they gave to the children of Aaron the priest, Hebron with its suburbs, [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer; and Libnah with its suburbs,
14 Jatthirt és annak legelőjét; Estemoát és annak legelőjét;
And Jattir with its suburbs, and Eshtemoa with its suburbs,
15 Holont és annak legelőjét, és Debirt és annak legelőjét;
And Holon with its suburbs, and Debir with its suburbs,
16 Aint és annak legelőjét, Juttát és annak legelőjét, Béth-Semest és annak legelőjét. Kilencz várost e két nemzetségből.
And Ain with its suburbs, and Juttah with its suburbs, [and] Beth-shemesh with its suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes.
17 A Benjámin nemzetségéből pedig Gibeont és annak legelőjét, Gébát és annak legelőjét;
And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with its suburbs, Geba with its suburbs,
18 Anathótot és annak legelőjét, Almont és annak legelőjét: négy várost.
Anathoth with its suburbs, and Almon with its suburbs; four cities.
19 Az Áron fiainak, a papoknak városai összesen tizenhárom város és azoknak legelői.
All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, [were] thirteen cities with their suburbs.
20 A Kehát fiai családjainak pedig, s a Kehát fiai közül való többi Lévitáknak városai, az ő sorsuk szerint, az Efraim nemzetségéből valának.
And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites who remained of the children of Kohath, even they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.
21 Nékik adák ugyanis a gyilkosok menekülésének városát, Sikemet és annak legelőjét az Efraim hegyén, és Gezert és annak legelőjét;
For they gave them Shechem with its suburbs in mount Ephraim, [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer; and Gezer with its suburbs,
22 Kibczaimot és annak legelőjét, Béth-Horont és annak legelőjét: négy várost.
And Kibzaim with its suburbs, and Beth-horon with its suburbs; four cities.
23 A Dán nemzetségéből pedig Elthekét és annak legelőjét, Gibbethont és annak legelőjét;
And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with its suburbs, Gibbethon with its suburbs,
24 Ajjálont és annak legelőjét; Gath-Rimmont és annak legelőjét; négy várost.
Ajalon with its suburbs, Gath-rimmon with its suburbs; four cities.
25 A Manassé fél nemzetségéből pedig: Taanákot és annak legelőjét, Gath-Rimmont és annak legelőjét: két várost.
And out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with its suburbs; two cities.
26 Összesen tíz várost és azoknak legelőit a Kehát fiai többi családjainak.
All the cities [were] ten with their suburbs, for the families of the children of Kohath that remained.
27 A Gerson fiainak pedig, a kik a Léviták családjaiból valának, adák a Manassé fél nemzetségéből a gyilkosok menekülésének városát, Gólánt Básánban és annak legelőjét, és Beesterát és annak legelőjét: két várost.
And to the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the [other] half-tribe of Manasseh [they gave] Golan in Bashan with its suburbs, [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer, and Beesh-terah with its suburbs; two cities.
28 Az Issakhár nemzetségéből pedig: Kisjont és annak legelőjét, Dobráthot, és annak legelőjét,
And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with its suburbs, Dabareh with its suburbs,
29 Jármutot és annak legelőjét, és Én-Gannimot és annak legelőjét: négy várost.
Jarmuth with its suburbs, En-gannim with its suburbs; four cities.
30 Az Áser nemzetségéből pedig: Misált és annak legelőjét, Abdont és annak legelőjét,
And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with its suburbs, Abdon with its suburbs,
31 Helkathot és annak legelőjét, és Rehobot és annak legelőjét: négy várost.
Helkath with its suburbs, and Rehob with its suburbs; four cities.
32 A Nafthali nemzetségéből pedig: a gyilkosok menekülésének városát, Kedest Galileában és annak legelőjét, Hammoth-Dórt és annak legelőjét, és Karthant és annak legelőjét: három várost.
And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its suburbs, [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer; and Hammoth-dor with its suburbs, and Kartan with its suburbs; three cities.
33 A Gersoniták összes városai, az ő családjaik szerint, tizenhárom város és azoknak legelői.
All the cities of the Gershonites, according to their families, [were] thirteen cities with their suburbs.
34 A Mérári fiai családjainak pedig, e még hátralevő Lévitáknak, adák a Zebulon nemzetségéből: Jokneámot és annak legelőjét, Karthát és annak legelőjét,
And to the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with its suburbs, and Kartah with its suburbs,
35 Dimnát és annak legelőjét, Nahalált és annak legelőjét; négy várost.
Dimnah with its suburbs, Nahalal with its suburbs; four cities.
36 A Rúben nemzetségéből pedig: Béczert és annak legelőjét, Jahczát és annak legelőjét,
And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with its suburbs, and Jahazah with its suburbs,
37 Kedémothot és annak legelőjét, és Méfaathot és annak legelőjét: négy várost.
Kedemoth with its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs; four cities.
38 A Gád nemzetségéből pedig: a gyilkosok menekülésének városát, Rámothot Gileádban és annak legelőjét, Mahanaimot és annak legelőjét,
And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its suburbs [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer; and Mahanaim with its suburbs,
39 Hesbont és annak legelőjét; Jaézert és annak legelőjét: összesen négy várost.
Heshbon with its suburbs, Jazer with its suburbs; four cities in all.
40 A Mérári fiainak városai az ő családjaik szerint, a kik a Léviták családjai közül maradtak fel, valának az ő sorsuk szerint összesen tizenkét város.
So all the cities for the children of Merari by their families, which were remaining of the families of the Levites, were [by] their lot twelve cities.
41 A Lévitáknak összes városai az Izráel fiainak birtoka között: negyvennyolcz város azoknak legelőivel.
All the cities of the Levites within the possession of the children of Israel [were] forty and eight cities with their suburbs.
42 Valának ezek a városok a tulajdonképeni város és körülöttök azoknak legelői. Így vala ez mind e városoknál.
These cities were every one with their suburbs around them. Thus [were] all these cities.
43 Megadá azért az Úr Izráelnek mindazt a földet, a mely felől megesküdött vala, hogy odaadja azt az ő atyáiknak. És bírák azt, és lakozának abban.
And the LORD gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers: and they possessed it, and dwelt in it.
44 Nyugodalmat is ada nékik az Úr mindenfelől, szintén úgy, a mint megesküdött vala az ő atyáiknak. És senki nem állott meg ellenökben valamennyi ellenségeik közül; minden ellenségöket kezökbe adá az Úr.
And the LORD gave them rest on all sides, according to all that he swore to their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45 Nem esett el csak egy szó is mindama jó szóból, a melyet szólott vala az Úr az Izráel házának. Mindaz betelt.
There failed not aught of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel; all came to pass.
