1 Mózes 5
1 Ez az Ádám nemzetségének könyve. A mely napon teremté Isten az embert, Isten hasonlatosságára teremté azt.
This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, he made him in God’s likeness.
2 Férfiúvá és asszonynyá teremté őket, és megáldá őket és nevezé az ő nevöket Ádámnak, a mely napon teremtetének.
He created them male and female, and blessed them. On the day they were created, he named them Adam.
3 Élt vala pedig Ádám száz harmincz esztendőt, és nemze fiat az ő képére és hasonlatosságára és nevezé annak nevét Séthnek.
Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and became the father of a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.
4 És telének Ádám napjai, minekutánna Séthet nemzette, nyolczszáz esztendőre, és nemze fiakat és leányokat.
The days of Adam after he became the father of Seth were eight hundred years, and he became the father of other sons and daughters.
5 És lőn Ádám egész életének ideje kilenczszáz harmincz esztendő; és meghala.
All the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years, then he died.
6 Éle pedig Séth száz öt esztendőt, és nemzé Énóst.
Seth lived one hundred and five years, then became the father of Enosh.
7 És éle Séth, minekutánna Énóst nemzette, nyolczszáz hét esztendeig; és nemze fiakat és leányokat.
Seth lived after he became the father of Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
8 És lőn Séth egész életének ideje kilenczszáz tizenkét esztendő; és meghala.
All of the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years, then he died.
9 Éle pedig Énós kilenczven esztendőt, és nemzé Kénánt.
Enosh lived ninety years, and became the father of Kenan.
10 És éle Énós, minekutánna Kénánt nemzette, nyolczszáz tizenöt esztendeig, és nemze fiakat és leányokat.
Enosh lived after he became the father of Kenan eight hundred and fifteen years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
11 És lőn Énós egész életének ideje kilenczszáz öt esztendő; és meghala.
All of the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years, then he died.
12 Éle pedig Kénán hetven esztendőt, és nemzé Mahalálélt.
Kenan lived seventy years, then became the father of Mahalalel.
13 És éle Kénán, minekutánna Mahalálélt nemzette, nyolczszáz negyven esztendeig; és nemze fiakat és leányokat.
Kenan lived after he became the father of Mahalalel eight hundred and forty years, and became the father of other sons and daughters
14 És lőn Kénán egész életének ideje kilenczszáz tíz esztendő; és meghala.
and all of the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years, then he died.
15 Éle pedig Mahalálél hatvanöt esztendőt, és nemzé Járedet.
Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, then became the father of Jared.
16 És éle Mahalálél, minekutánna Járedet nemzette, nyolczszáz harmincz esztendeig, és nemze fiakat és leányokat.
Mahalalel lived after he became the father of Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
17 És lőn Mahalálél egész életének ideje nyolczszáz kilenczvenöt esztendő; és meghala.

18 Éle pedig Járed száz hatvankét esztendőt, és nemzé Énókhot.
Jared lived one hundred and sixty-two years, then became the father of Enoch.
19 És éle Járed, minekutánna Énókhot nemzette, nyolczszáz esztendőt; és nemze fiakat és leányokat.

20 És lőn Járed egész életének ideje kilenczszáz hatvankét esztendő; és meghala.

21 Éle pedig Énókh hatvanöt esztendőt, és nemzé Methuséláht.
Enoch lived sixty-five years, then became the father of Methuselah.
22 És járt Énókh az Istennel, minekutánna Methuséláht nemzette, háromszáz esztendeig; és nemze fiakat és leányokat.
After Methuselah’s birth, Enoch walked with God for three hundred years, and became the father of more sons and daughters.
23 És lőn Énókh egész életének ideje háromszáz hatvanöt esztendő.
All the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.
24 És mivel Énókh Istennel járt vala; eltűnék, mert Isten magához vevé.
Enoch walked with God, and he was not found, for God took him.
25 Éle pedig Methusélah száz nyolczvanhét esztendőt és nemzé Lámekhet.
Methuselah lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, then became the father of Lamech.
26 És éle Methusélah, minekutánna Lámekhet nemzette, hétszáz nyolczvankét esztendőt; és nemze fiakat és leányokat.
Methuselah lived after he became the father of Lamech seven hundred and eighty-two years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
27 És lőn Methusélah egész életének ideje kilenczszáz hatvankilencz esztendő; és meghala.
All the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, then he died.
28 Éle pedig Lámekh száz nyolczvankét esztendőt, és nemze fiat.
Lamech lived one hundred and eighty-two years, then became the father of a son.
29 És nevezé azt Noénak, mondván: Ez vígasztal meg minket munkálkodásunkban s kezünk terhes fáradozásában e földön, melyet megátkozott az Úr.
He named him Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, caused by the ground which the LORD has cursed.”
30 És éle Lámekh, minekutánna Noét nemzette, ötszáz kilenczvenöt esztendőt; és nemze fiakat és leányokat.
Lamech lived after he became the father of Noah five hundred and ninety-five years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
31 És lőn Lámekh egész életének ideje hétszázhetvenhét esztendő; és meghala.
All the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years, then he died.
32 És mikor Noé ötszáz esztendős volt, nemzé Noé Sémet, Khámot és Jáfetet.
Noah was five hundred years old, then Noah became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
