1 इतिहास 9
1 १ इस प्रकार सब इस्राएली अपनी-अपनी वंशावली के अनुसार, जो इस्राएल के राजाओं के वृत्तान्त की पुस्तक में लिखी हैं, गिने गए। और यहूदी अपने विश्वासघात के कारण बन्दी बनाकर बाबेल को पहुँचाए गए।
And [this is] all Israel, [even] their enrolment: and these [are] written down in the book of the kings of Israel and Juda, with the [names of them] that were carried away to Babylon for their transgressions.
2 २ बँधुआई से लौटकर जो लोग अपनी-अपनी निज भूमि अर्थात् अपने नगरों में रहते थे, वह इस्राएली, याजक, लेवीय और मन्दिर के सेवक थे।
And they that lived before in their possessions in the cities of Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the appointed ones.
And there lived in Jerusalem some of the children of Juda, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasse.
4 ४ अर्थात् यहूदा के पुत्र पेरेस के वंश में से अम्मीहूद का पुत्र ऊतै, जो ओम्री का पुत्र, और इम्री का पोता, और बानी का परपोता था।
And Gnothi, and the son of Samiud, the son of Amri, the son of Ambraim, the son of Buni, son of the sons of Phares, the son of Juda.
And of the Selonites; Asaia his firstborn, and his sons.
Of the sons of Zara; Jeel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
7 ७ फिर बिन्यामीन के वंश में से सल्लू जो मशुल्लाम का पुत्र, होदव्याह का पोता, और हस्सनूआ का परपोता था।
And of the sons of Benjamin; Salom, son of Mosollam, son of Odouia, son of Asinu.
8 ८ और यिबनायाह जो यरोहाम का पुत्र था, और एला जो उज्जी का पुत्र, और मिक्री का पोता था, और मशुल्लाम जो शपत्याह का पुत्र, रूएल का पोता, और यिब्निय्याह का परपोता था;
And Jemnaa son of Jeroboam, and Elo: these [are] the sons of Ozi the son of Machir: and Mosollam, son of Saphatia, son of Raguel, son of Jemnai;
9 ९ और इनके भाई जो अपनी-अपनी वंशावली के अनुसार मिलकर नौ सौ छप्पन थे। ये सब पुरुष अपने-अपने पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार पितरों के घरानों में मुख्य थे।
and their brethren according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty-six, all the men [were] heads of families according to the houses of their fathers.
And of the priests; Jodae, and Joarim, and Jachin,
11 ११ और अजर्याह जो परमेश्वर के भवन का प्रधान और हिल्किय्याह का पुत्र था, यह मशुल्लाम का पुत्र, यह सादोक का पुत्र, यह मरायोत का पुत्र, यह अहीतूब का पुत्र था;
and Azaria the son of Chelcias, the son of Mosollam, the son of Sadoc, the son of Maraioth, the son of Achitob, the ruler of the house of God;
12 १२ और अदायाह जो यरोहाम का पुत्र था, यह पशहूर का पुत्र, यह मल्किय्याह का पुत्र, यह मासै का पुत्र, यह अदीएल का पुत्र, यह यहजेरा का पुत्र, यह मशुल्लाम का पुत्र, यह मशिल्लीत का पुत्र, यह इम्मेर का पुत्र था;
and Adaia son of Iraam, son of Phascor, son of Melchia, and Maasaia son of Adiel, son of Ezira, son of Mosollam, son of Maselmoth, son of Emmer;
13 १३ और इनके भाई थे जो अपने-अपने पितरों के घरानों में सत्रह सौ साठ मुख्य पुरुष थे, वे परमेश्वर के भवन की सेवा के काम में बहुत निपुण पुरुष थे।
and their brethren, chiefs of their families, a thousand seven hundred and sixty, mighty [men] for the work of the ministration of the house of God.
14 १४ फिर लेवियों में से मरारी के वंश में से शमायाह जो हश्शूब का पुत्र, अज्रीकाम का पोता, और हशब्याह का परपोता था;
And of the Levites; Samaia son of Asob, son of Ezricam, son of Asabia, of the sons of Merari.
15 १५ और बकबक्कर, हेरेश और गालाल और आसाप के वंश में से मत्तन्याह जो मीका का पुत्र, और जिक्री का पोता था;
And Bacbacar, and Ares, and Galaal, and Matthanias son of Micha, son of Zechri, son of Asaph;
16 १६ और ओबद्याह जो शमायाह का पुत्र, गालाल का पोता और यदूतून का परपोता था: और बेरेक्याह जो आसा का पुत्र, और एल्काना का पोता था, जो नतोपाइयों के गाँवों में रहता था।
and Abdia, son of Samia, son of Galaal, son of Idithun, and Barachia son of Ossa, son of Helcana—who lived in the villages of the Notephatites.
17 १७ द्वारपालों में से अपने-अपने भाइयों सहित शल्लूम, अक्कूब, तल्मोन और अहीमन, इनमें से मुख्य तो शल्लूम था।
The doorkeepers; Salom, Acum, Telmon, and Diman, and their brethren; Salom [was] the chief;
18 १८ और वह अब तक पूर्व की ओर राजा के फाटक के पास द्वारपाली करता था। लेवियों की छावनी के द्वारपाल ये ही थे।
and [he waited] hitherto in the king's gate eastward: these [are] the gates of the companies of the sons of Levi.
19 १९ और शल्लूम जो कोरे का पुत्र, एब्यासाप का पोता, और कोरह का परपोता था, और उसके भाई जो उसके मूलपुरुष के घराने के अर्थात् कोरही थे, वह इस काम के अधिकारी थे कि वे तम्बू के द्वारपाल हों। उनके पुरखा तो यहोवा की छावनी के अधिकारी, और प्रवेश-द्वार के रखवाले थे।
And Sellum the son of Core, the son of Abiasaph, the son of Core, and his brethren belonging to the house of his father, the Corites [were] over the works of the service, keeping the watches of the tabernacle, and their fathers over the camp of the Lord, keeping the entrance.
And Phinees son of Eleazar was head over them before the Lord, and these [were] with him.
Zacharias the son of Mosollami [was] keeper of the door of the tabernacle of witness.
22 २२ ये सब जो द्वारपाल होने को चुने गए, वह दो सौ बारह थे। ये जिनके पुरखाओं को दाऊद और शमूएल दर्शी ने विश्वासयोग्य जानकर ठहराया था, वह अपने-अपने गाँव में अपनी-अपनी वंशावली के अनुसार गिने गए।
All the chosen porters in the gates [were] two hundred and twelve, these [were] in their courts, [this was] their distribution: these David and Samuel the seer established in their charge.
23 २३ अतः वे और उनकी सन्तान यहोवा के भवन अर्थात् तम्बू के भवन के फाटकों का अधिकार बारी-बारी रखते थे।
And these and their sons [were] over the gates in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the tabernacle, to keep watch.
The gates were toward the four winds, eastward, westward, northward, southward.
25 २५ और उनके भाई जो गाँवों में रहते थे, उनको सात-सात दिन के बाद बारी-बारी से उनके संग रहने के लिये आना पड़ता था।
And their brethren [were] in their courts, to enter in weekly from time to time with these.
26 २६ क्योंकि चारों प्रधान द्वारपाल जो लेवीय थे, वे विश्वासयोग्य जानकर परमेश्वर के भवन की कोठरियों और भण्डारों के अधिकारी ठहराए गए थे।
For four strong [men] have the charge of the gates; and the Levites were over the chambers, and they keep watch over the treasures of the house of God.
27 २७ वे परमेश्वर के भवन के आस-पास इसलिए रात बिताते थे कि उसकी रक्षा उन्हें सौंपी गई थी, और प्रतिदिन भोर को उसे खोलना उन्हीं का काम था।
For the charge [was] upon them, and these [were] charged with the keys to open the doors of the temple every morning.
28 २८ उनमें से कुछ उपासना के पात्रों के अधिकारी थे, क्योंकि ये पात्र गिनकर भीतर पहुँचाए, और गिनकर बाहर निकाले भी जाते थे।
And [some] of them [were appointed] over the vessels of service, that they should carry them in by number, and carry them out by number.
29 २९ और उनमें से कुछ सामान के, और पवित्रस्थान के पात्रों के, और मैदे, दाखमधु, तेल, लोबान और सुगन्ध-द्रव्यों के अधिकारी ठहराए गए थे।
And [some] of them [were] appointed over the furniture, and over all the holy vessels, and over the fine flour, the wine, the oil, the frankincense, and the spices.
And some of the priests were makers of the ointment, and [appointed to prepare] the spices.
31 ३१ और मत्तित्याह नामक एक लेवीय जो कोरही शल्लूम का जेठा था उसे विश्वासयोग्य जानकर तवों पर बनाई हुई वस्तुओं का अधिकारी नियुक्त किया था।
And Matthathias of the Levites, (he [was] the firstborn of Salom the Corite, ) [was set] in charge over the sacrifices of meat-offering of the pan belonging to the high priest.
32 ३२ उसके भाइयों अर्थात् कहातियों में से कुछ तो भेंटवाली रोटी के अधिकारी थे, कि हर एक विश्रामदिन को उसे तैयार किया करें।
And Banaias the Caathite, from among their brethren, [was set] over the show bread, to prepare it every sabbath.
33 ३३ ये गवैये थे जो लेवीय पितरों के घरानों में मुख्य थे, और मन्दिर में रहते, और अन्य सेवा के काम से छूटे थे; क्योंकि वे रात-दिन अपने काम में लगे रहते थे।
And these [were] the singers, heads of families of the Levites, [to whom were] established daily courses, for they were employed in the services day and night.
34 ३४ ये ही अपनी-अपनी पीढ़ी में लेवियों के पितरों के घरानों में मुख्य पुरुष थे, ये यरूशलेम में रहते थे।
These [were] the heads of the families of the Levites according to their generations; these chiefs lived in Jerusalem.
And Jeel the father of Gabaon lived in Gabaon; and his wife's name [was] Moocha.
And his firstborn son [was] Abdon, and [he had] Sur, and Kis, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
and Gedur and [his] brother, and Zacchur, and Makeloth.
38 ३८ और मिक्लोत से शिमाम उत्पन्न हुआ और ये भी अपने भाइयों के सामने अपने भाइयों के संग यरूशलेम में रहते थे।
And Makeloth begot Samaa: and these lived in the midst of their brethren in Jerusalem, [even] in the midst of their brethren.
And Ner begot Kis, and Kis begot Saul, and Saul begot Jonathan, and Melchisue, and Aminadab, and Asabal.
And the son of Jonathan [was] Meribaal: and Meribaal begot Micha.
And the sons of Micha [were] Phithon and Malach, and Tharach.
And Achaz begot Jada: and Jada begot Galemeth, and Gazmoth, and Zambri; and Zambri begot Massa.
43 ४३ और मोसा से बिना उत्पन्न हुआ और बिना का पुत्र रपायाह हुआ, रपायाह का एलासा, और एलासा का पुत्र आसेल हुआ।
And Massa begot Baana, and Rhaphaia [was] his son, Elasa his son, Esel his son.
44 ४४ और आसेल के छः पुत्र हुए जिनके ये नाम थे, अर्थात् अज्रीकाम, बोकरू, इश्माएल, शरायाह, ओबद्याह और हानान; आसेल के ये ही पुत्र हुए।
And Esel had six sons, and these [were] their names; Esricam his firstborn, and Ismael, and Saraia, and Abdia, and Anan, and Asa: these [were] the sons of Esel.
