תהילים 94
| אל נקמות יהוה אל נקמות הופיע׃ | 1 |
O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongs; O God, to whom vengeance belongs, show yourself.
| הנשא שפט הארץ השב גמול על גאים׃ | 2 |
Lift up yourself, you judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
| עד מתי רשעים יהוה עד מתי רשעים יעלזו׃ | 3 |
LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
| יביעו ידברו עתק יתאמרו כל פעלי און׃ | 4 |
How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
| עמך יהוה ידכאו ונחלתך יענו׃ | 5 |
They break in pieces your people, O LORD, and afflict your heritage.
| אלמנה וגר יהרגו ויתומים ירצחו׃ | 6 |
They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
| ויאמרו לא יראה יה ולא יבין אלהי יעקב׃ | 7 |
Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
| בינו בערים בעם וכסילים מתי תשכילו׃ | 8 |
Understand, all of you brutish among the people: and all of you fools, when will all of you be wise?
| הנטע אזן הלא ישמע אם יצר עין הלא יביט׃ | 9 |
He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
| היסר גוים הלא יוכיח המלמד אדם דעת׃ | 10 |
He that chastises the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teaches man knowledge, shall not he know?
| יהוה ידע מחשבות אדם כי המה הבל׃ | 11 |
The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
| אשרי הגבר אשר תיסרנו יה ומתורתך תלמדנו׃ | 12 |
Blessed is the man whom you chasten, O LORD, and teach him out of your law;
| להשקיט לו מימי רע עד יכרה לרשע שחת׃ | 13 |
That you may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be dug for the wicked.
| כי לא יטש יהוה עמו ונחלתו לא יעזב׃ | 14 |
For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
| כי עד צדק ישוב משפט ואחריו כל ישרי לב׃ | 15 |
But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
| מי יקום לי עם מרעים מי יתיצב לי עם פעלי און׃ | 16 |
Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
| לולי יהוה עזרתה לי כמעט שכנה דומה נפשי׃ | 17 |
Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
| אם אמרתי מטה רגלי חסדך יהוה יסעדני׃ | 18 |
When I said, My foot slips; your mercy, O LORD, held me up.
| ברב שרעפי בקרבי תנחומיך ישעשעו נפשי׃ | 19 |
In the multitude of my thoughts within me your comforts delight my soul.
| היחברך כסא הוות יצר עמל עלי חק׃ | 20 |
Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with you, which frames mischief by a law?
| יגודו על נפש צדיק ודם נקי ירשיעו׃ | 21 |
They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
| ויהי יהוה לי למשגב ואלהי לצור מחסי׃ | 22 |
But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
| וישב עליהם את אונם וברעתם יצמיתם יצמיתם יהוה אלהינו׃ | 23 |
And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
