דברי הימים א 7

1 ולבני יששכר תולע ופואה ישיב ושמרון ארבעה׃

And of the sons of Issachar: Tola, and Puah, Jashub, and Shimron, four.

2 ובני תולע עזי ורפיה ויריאל ויחמי ויבשם ושמואל ראשים לבית אבותם לתולע גבורי חיל לתלדותם מספרם בימי דויד עשרים ושנים אלף ושש מאות׃

And the sons of Tola: Uzzi and Rephaiah, and Jeriel, and Jahmai, and Ibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their fathers' houses, mighty men of valour according to their generations, even of Tola; their number in the days of David was two and twenty thousand and six hundred.

3 ובני עזי יזרחיה ובני יזרחיה מיכאל ועבדיה ויואל ישיה חמשה ראשים כלם׃

And the sons of Uzzi: Izrahiah; and the sons of Izrahiah: Michael, and Obadiah, and Joel, Isshiah, five; all of them chief men.

4 ועליהם לתלדותם לבית אבותם גדודי צבא מלחמה שלשים וששה אלף כי הרבו נשים ובנים׃

And with them, by their generations, after their fathers' houses, were bands of the host for war, six and thirty thousand; for they had many wives and sons.

5 ואחיהם לכל משפחות יששכר גבורי חילים שמונים ושבעה אלף התיחשם לכל׃

And their brethren among all the families of Issachar, mighty men of valour, reckoned in all by genealogy, were fourscore and seven thousand.

6 בנימן בלע ובכר וידיעאל שלשה׃

The sons of Benjamin: Bela, and Becher, and Jediael, three.

7 ובני בלע אצבון ועזי ועזיאל וירימות ועירי חמשה ראשי בית אבות גבורי חילים והתיחשם עשרים ושנים אלף ושלשים וארבעה׃

And the sons of Bela: Ezbon, and Uzzi, and Uzziel, and Jerimoth, and Iri, five; heads of fathers' houses, mighty men of valour; and they were reckoned by genealogy twenty and two thousand and thirty and four.

8 ובני בכר זמירה ויועש ואליעזר ואליועיני ועמרי וירמות ואביה וענתות ועלמת כל אלה בני בכר׃

And the sons of Becher: Zemirah, and Joash, and Eliezer, and Elioenai, and Omri, and Jeremoth, and Abijah, and Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these were the sons of Becher.

9 והתיחשם לתלדותם ראשי בית אבותם גבורי חיל עשרים אלף ומאתים׃

And they were reckoned by genealogy, after their generations, heads of their fathers' houses, mighty men of valour, twenty thousand and two hundred.

10 ובני ידיעאל בלהן ובני בלהן יעיש ובנימן ואהוד וכנענה וזיתן ותרשיש ואחישחר׃

And the sons of Jediael: Bilhan; and the sons of Bilhan: Jeush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahar.

11 כל אלה בני ידיעאל לראשי האבות גבורי חילים שבעה עשר אלף ומאתים יצאי צבא למלחמה׃

All these were sons of Jediael, even heads of their fathers' houses, mighty men of valour, seventeen thousand and two hundred, that were able to go forth in the host for war.

12 ושפם וחפם בני עיר חשם בני אחר׃

Shuppim also, and Huppim, the sons of Ir, Hushim, the son of another.

13 בני נפתלי יחציאל וגוני ויצר ושלום בני בלהה׃

The sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.

14 בני מנשה אשריאל אשר ילדה פילגשו הארמיה ילדה את מכיר אבי גלעד׃

The sons of Manasseh: Asriel, whom his wife bore — his concubine the Aramitess bore Machir the father of Gilead;

15 ומכיר לקח אשה לחפים ולשפים ושם אחתו מעכה ושם השני צלפחד ותהינה לצלפחד בנות׃

and Machir took a wife of Huppim and Shuppim, whose sister's name was Maacah — and the name of the second was Zelophehad; and Zelophehad had daughters.

16 ותלד מעכה אשת מכיר בן ותקרא שמו פרש ושם אחיו שרש ובניו אולם ורקם׃

And Maacah the wife of Machir bore a son, and she called his name Peresh; and the name of his brother was Sheresh; and his sons were Ulam and Rekem.

17 ובני אולם בדן אלה בני גלעד בן מכיר בן מנשה׃

And the sons of Ulam: Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.

18 ואחתו המלכת ילדה את אישהוד ואת אביעזר ואת מחלה׃

And his sister Hammolecheth bore Ish-hod, and Abiezer, and Mahlah.

19 ויהיו בני שמידע אחין ושכם ולקחי ואניעם׃

And the sons of Shemida were Ahian, and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.

20 ובני אפרים שותלח וברד בנו ותחת בנו ואלעדה בנו ותחת בנו׃

And the sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah — and Bered was his son, and Tahath his son, and Eleadah his son, and Tahath his son,

21 וזבד בנו ושותלח בנו ועזר ואלעד והרגום אנשי גת הנולדים בארץ כי ירדו לקחת את מקניהם׃

and Zabad his son, and Shuthelah his son — and Ezer, and Elead, whom the men of Gath that were born in the land slew, because they came down to take away their cattle.

22 ויתאבל אפרים אביהם ימים רבים ויבאו אחיו לנחמו׃

And Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him.

23 ויבא אל אשתו ותהר ותלד בן ויקרא את שמו בריעה כי ברעה היתה בביתו׃

And he went in to his wife, and she conceived, and bore a son, and he called his name Beriah, because it went evil with his house.

24 ובתו שארה ותבן את בית חורון התחתון ואת העליון ואת אזן שארה׃

And his daughter was Sheerah, who built Beth-horon the nether and the upper, and Uzzen-sheerah.

25 ורפח בנו ורשף ותלח בנו ותחן בנו׃

And Rephah was his son, and Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son;

26 לעדן בנו עמיהוד בנו אלישמע בנו׃

Ladan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son;

27 נון בנו יהושע בנו׃

Nun his son, Joshua his son.

28 ואחזתם ומשבותם בית אל ובנתיה ולמזרח נערן ולמערב גזר ובנתיה ושכם ובנתיה עד עיה ובנתיה׃

And their possessions and habitations were Beth-el and the towns thereof, and eastward Naaran, and westward Gezer, with the towns thereof; Shechem also and the towns thereof, unto Aiah and the towns thereof;

29 ועל ידי בני מנשה בית שאן ובנתיה תענך ובנתיה מגדו ובנותיה דור ובנותיה באלה ישבו בני יוסף בן ישראל׃

and by the borders of the children of Manasseh, Beth-shean and the towns thereof, Taanach and the towns thereof, Megiddo and the towns thereof, Dor and the towns thereof. In these dwelt the children of Joseph the son of Israel.

30 בני אשר ימנה וישוה וישוי ובריעה ושרח אחותם׃

The sons of Asher: Imnah, and Ishvah, and Ishvi, and Beriah, and Serah their sister.

31 ובני בריעה חבר ומלכיאל הוא אבי ברזות׃

And the sons of Beriah: Heber, and Malchiel, who was the father of Birzaith.

32 וחבר הוליד את יפלט ואת שומר ואת חותם ואת שועא אחותם׃

And Heber begot Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, and Shua their sister.

33 ובני יפלט פסך ובמהל ועשות אלה בני יפלט׃

And the sons of Japhlet: Pasach, and Bimhal, and Asvath. These are the children of Japhlet.

34 ובני שמר אחי ורוהגה יחבה וארם׃

And the sons of Shemer: Ahi, and Rohgah, and Hubbah, and Aram.

35 ובן הלם אחיו צופח וימנע ושלש ועמל׃

And the sons of Helem his brother: Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh, and Amal.

36 בני צופח סוח וחרנפר ושועל וברי וימרה׃

The sons of Zophah: Suah, and Harnepher, and Shaul, and Beri, and Imrah;

37 בצר והוד ושמא ושלשה ויתרן ובארא׃

Bezer, and Hod, and Shamma, and Shilsha, and Ithran, and Beera.

38 ובני יתר יפנה ופספה וארא׃

And the sons of Jether: Jephunneh, and Pispa, and Ara.

39 ובני עלא ארח וחניאל ורציא׃

And the sons of Ulla: Arah, and Hanniel, and Rizia.

40 כל אלה בני אשר ראשי בית האבות ברורים גבורי חילים ראשי הנשיאים והתיחשם בצבא במלחמה מספרם אנשים עשרים וששה אלף׃

All these were the children of Asher, heads of the fathers' houses, choice and mighty men of valour, chief of the princes. And the number of them reckoned by genealogy for service in war was twenty and six thousand men.
