1 Sai Sarki Solomon ya tattara dattawan Urushalima a gabansa, da dukan shugabannin kabilu, da shugabannin iyalan Isra’ilawa, domin su kawo akwatin alkawarin Ubangiji daga Sihiyona, Birnin Dawuda.
Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, to king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.
2 Dukan mutanen Isra’ila suka tattaru a gaban Sarki Solomon a lokacin biki, a watan Etanim, wato, wata na bakwai.
And all the men of Israel assembled themselves to king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.
3 Sa’ad da dukan dattawan Isra’ila suka iso, sai firistoci suka ɗauki akwatin alkawarin,
And all the elders of Israel came, and the priests took up the ark.
4 suka haura da akwatin alkawarin Ubangiji da kuma Tentin Sujada, da dukan kayayyaki masu tsarkin da suke cikinsa. Firistoci da Lawiyawa suka ɗauko su,
And they brought up the ark of the LORD, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, even those did the priests and the Levites bring up.
5 sai Sarki Solomon da dukan taron Isra’ila da suka tattaru kewaye da shi a gaban akwatin alkawari, suka yi ta miƙa hadayar tumaki da bijimai masu yawa da ba a iya lissaftawa, ko ƙirgawa.
And king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel, that were assembled to him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be told nor numbered for multitude.
6 Sa’an nan firistoci suka kawo akwatin alkawarin Ubangiji inda aka shirya masa, can ciki cikin haikali, a Wuri Mafi Tsarki, aka kuma sa shi a ƙarƙashin fikafikan kerubobin.
And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD to his place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubim.
For the cherubim spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim covered the ark and the staves thereof above.
8 Waɗannan sandunan sun yi tsawo har ana iya ganin bakinsu daga Wuri Mai Tsarki a gaban wuri mai tsarki na can ciki, amma ba a iya ganinsu daga waje na Wuri Mai Tsarki ba. Suna nan kuwa a can har wa yau.
And they drew out the staves, that the ends of the staves were seen out in the holy place before the oracle, and they were not seen without: and there they are to this day.
9 Ba kome a cikin akwatin alkawarin, sai dai alluna na dutse guda biyu waɗanda Musa ya ajiye a ciki tun a Horeb, inda Ubangiji ya yi alkawari da Isra’ilawa bayan sun fito Masar.
There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.
10 Sa’ad da firistoci suka janye daga Wuri Mai Tsarki, sai girgije ya cika haikalin Ubangiji.
And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,
11 Firistocin kuwa ba su iya yin hidimarsu ba saboda girgijen, gama ɗaukakar Ubangiji ta cika haikalinsa.
So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.
12 Sai Solomon ya ce, “Ubangiji ya ce zai zauna a gizagizai masu duhu;
Then spoke Solomon, The LORD said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.
13 ga shi na gina haikali mai daraja dominka, inda za ka zauna har abada.”
I have surely built you an house to dwell in, a settled place for you to abide in for ever.
And the king turned his face about, and blessed all the congregation of Israel: (and all the congregation of Israel stood; )
And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which spoke with his mouth to David my father, and has with his hand fulfilled it, saying,
16 ‘Tun ran da na fitar da mutanena Isra’ila daga Masar, ban zaɓi wani birni a cikin wata kabilar Isra’ila a gina haikali domin Sunana yă kasance a can ba, amma na zaɓi Dawuda yă yi mulkin mutanena Isra’ila.’
Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build an house, that my name might be therein; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.
17 “Mahaifina Dawuda ya yi niyya a cikin zuciyarsa yă gina haikali saboda Sunan Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila.
And it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
18 Amma Ubangiji ya ce wa mahaifina Dawuda, ‘Saboda yana a zuciyarka ka gina haikali domin Sunana, ka yi daidai da ka yi niyyar wannan a zuciyarka.
And the LORD said to David my father, Whereas it was in your heart to build an house to my name, you did well that it was in your heart.
Nevertheless you shall not build the house; but your son that shall come forth out of your loins, he shall build the house to my name.
And the LORD has performed his word that he spoke, and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
And I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, which he made with our fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.
22 Sai Solomon ya tsaya a gaban bagaden Ubangiji, a gaban dukan taron Isra’ila, ya ɗaga hannuwansa sama,
And Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven:
23 ya ce, “Ya Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila, babu Allah kamar ka a sama can bisa, ko a ƙasa can ƙarƙashi, kai da kake kiyaye alkawarinka na ƙauna ga bayinka waɗanda suke cin gaba a hanyarka da dukan zuciyarsu.
And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keep covenant and mercy with your servants that walk before you with all their heart:
24 Ka kiyaye alkawarinka da ka yi wa bawanka Dawuda mahaifina. Da bakinka ka yi alkawari, da hannunka kuma ka cika shi, yadda yake a yau.
Who have kept with your servant David my father that you promised him: you spoke also with your mouth, and have fulfilled it with your hand, as it is this day.
25 “Yanzu, ya Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila, bari ka cika wa bawanka Dawuda mahaifina alkawaran da ka yi masa sa’ad da ka ce, ‘Ba za ka taɓa rasa wani da zai zauna a gabana a kan kujerar sarautar Isra’ila ba, in kawai’ya’yanka maza sun yi hankali cikin dukan abubuwan da suke yi, don su yi tafiya a gabana kamar yadda ka yi.’
Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with your servant David my father that you promised him, saying, There shall not fail you a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that your children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as you have walked before me.
And now, O God of Israel, let your word, I pray you, be verified, which you spoke to your servant David my father.
But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain you; how much less this house that I have built?
Ka ji kuka da addu’ar da bawanka yake yi a gabanka a wannan rana.
Yet have you respect to the prayer of your servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer, which your servant prays before you to day:
29 Bari idanunka su buɗe, su fuskanci wannan haikali dare da rana, wannan wurin da ka ce, ‘Sunana zai kasance a can,’ saboda ka ji addu’ar bawanka in yana fuskantar wannan wuri.
That your eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which you have said, My name shall be there: that you may listen to the prayer which your servant shall make toward this place.
And listen you to the supplication of your servant, and of your people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear you in heaven your dwelling place: and when you hear, forgive.
31 “Sa’ad da mutum ya yi abin da ba daidai ba ga maƙwabcinsa, an kuma bukace shi yă yi rantsuwa, sai ya zo ya rantse a gaban bagade a cikin haikalin nan,
If any man trespass against his neighbor, and an oath be laid on him to cause him to swear, and the oath come before your altar in this house:
32 sai ka ji daga sama, ka kuma yi wani abu. Ka shari’anta tsakanin bayinka, ka hukunta mai laifi, ka mai da laifinsa a kansa, mai gaskiya kuma ka nuna shi marar laifi ne bisa ga gaskiyarsa.
Then hear you in heaven, and do, and judge your servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way on his head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.
33 “Sa’ad da abokan gāba suka ci mutanenka Isra’ila a yaƙi saboda sun yi maka zunubi, sa’ad da kuma suka dawo gare ka don su furta sunanka, suna addu’a suna roƙo gare ka a wannan haikali,
When your people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned against you, and shall turn again to you, and confess your name, and pray, and make supplication to you in this house:
34 ka ji daga sama, ka gafarta zunubin mutanenka, ka kuma dawo da su ƙasar da ka ba wa kakanninsu.
Then hear you in heaven, and forgive the sin of your people Israel, and bring them again to the land which you gave to their fathers.
35 “Sa’ad da sammai sun kulle, babu kuma ruwan sama domin mutane sun yi maka zunubi, sa’ad da suka yi addu’a suna fuskantar wannan wuri, suka kuma furta sunanka, suka juye daga zunubinsu domin ka hore su,
When heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against you; if they pray toward this place, and confess your name, and turn from their sin, when you afflict them:
36 ka ji daga sama, ka kuma gafarta zunubin bayinka, mutanenka Isra’ila. Ka koya musu hanyar da ta dace ta rayuwa, ka kuma aika da ruwan sama a ƙasar da ka ba wa mutanenka gādo.
Then hear you in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, and of your people Israel, that you teach them the good way wherein they should walk, and give rain on your land, which you have given to your people for an inheritance.
37 “Sa’ad da yunwa ko annoba ta fāɗo a ƙasar, ko burtuntuna, ko fumfuna, ko fāri, ko tsutsa, ko kuwa abokan gāba sun yi musu kwanto, a wani daga cikin biranensu, duk wata cuta, ko ciwon da ya zo,
If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, blasting, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpillar; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatever plague, whatever sickness there be;
38 in suka yi addu’a ko roƙo ta wurin wani daga cikin mutanenka Isra’ila, kowa ya san wahalar zuciyarsa, ya kuma buɗe hannuwansa yana fuskantar wannan haikali,
What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all your people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:
39 sai ka ji daga sama, mazauninka. Ka gafarta, ka kuma yi wani abu. Ka yi da kowane mutum bisa ga dukan abin da ya yi, tun da yake ka san zuciyarsa (gama kai kaɗai ka san zukatan dukan mutane),
Then hear you in heaven your dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart you know; (for you, even you only, know the hearts of all the children of men; )
That they may fear you all the days that they live in the land which you gave to our fathers.
41 “Game da baƙo kuwa wanda shi ba na mutanenka Isra’ila ba, amma ya zo daga ƙasa mai nisa saboda sunanka,
Moreover concerning a stranger, that is not of your people Israel, but comes out of a far country for your name’s sake;
(For they shall hear of your great name, and of your strong hand, and of your stretched out arm; ) when he shall come and pray toward this house;
43 ka ji daga sama, mazauninka, ka kuma yi dukan abin da baƙon ya tambaye ka, saboda dukan mutanen duniya su san sunanka, su kuma ji tsoronka, kamar yadda mutanenka Isra’ila suke yi, bari kuma su san cewa wannan gidan da na gina, ya amsa Sunanka.
Hear you in heaven your dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calls to you for: that all people of the earth may know your name, to fear you, as do your people Israel; and that they may know that this house, which I have built, is called by your name.
If your people go out to battle against their enemy, wherever you shall send them, and shall pray to the LORD toward the city which you have chosen, and toward the house that I have built for your name:
45 ka ji addu’arsu da roƙonsu daga sama, ka kuma biya musu bukatansu.
Then hear you in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.
46 “Sa’ad da suka yi maka zunubi, gama babu wanda ba ya zunubi, ka kuwa yi fushi da su, ka kuma ba da su ga abokin gāba, wanda ya kwashe su kamammu zuwa ƙasarsa, nesa ko kusa;
If they sin against you, (for there is no man that sins not, ) and you be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives to the land of the enemy, far or near;
47 in suka canja zuciyarsu a ƙasar da aka riƙe su kamammu, suka tuba, suka kuma roƙe ka a ƙasar waɗanda suka ci su da yaƙi, suka ce, ‘Mun yi zunubi, mun yi abin da ba daidai ba, mun yi mugunta’;
Yet if they shall bethink themselves in the land where they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication to you in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness;
48 in sun juye gare ka da dukan zuciyarsu, da dukan ransu a ƙasar abokan gābansu waɗanda suka kwashe kamammu, suka yi addu’a gare ka, suka fuskanci wajen ƙasar da ka ba wa kakanninsu, waje birnin da ka zaɓa, da kuma haikalin da na gina domin Sunanka;
And so return to you with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray to you toward their land, which you gave to their fathers, the city which you have chosen, and the house which I have built for your name:
49 sai ka ji daga sama, mazauninka, ka ji addu’a da roƙonsu, ka kuma biya musu bukatansu.
Then hear you their prayer and their supplication in heaven your dwelling place, and maintain their cause,
50 Ka gafarta wa mutanenka, waɗanda suka yi maka zunubi; ka gafarta dukan laifofin da suka yi maka, ka kuma sa waɗanda suka ci su a yaƙi su ji tausayinsu.
And forgive your people that have sinned against you, and all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against you, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them:
51 Gama su mutanenka ne, abin gādonka, waɗanda ka fitar daga Masar, daga tanderu mai narken ƙarfe.
For they be your people, and your inheritance, which you brought forth out of Egypt, from the middle of the furnace of iron:
52 “Bari idanunka su buɗe ga roƙon bawanka, ga roƙon mutanenka Isra’ila, bari kuma ka saurare su sa’ad da suka yi kuka gare ka.
That your eyes may be open to the supplication of your servant, and to the supplication of your people Israel, to listen to them in all that they call for to you.
53 Gama ka ware su daga dukan al’umman duniya su zama abin gādonka, kamar yadda aka furta ta wurin bawanka Musa sa’ad da kai, ya Ubangiji Mai Iko Duka ka fitar da kakanninmu daga Masar.”
For you did separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be your inheritance, as you spoke by the hand of Moses your servant, when you brought our fathers out of Egypt, O LORD God.
54 Da Solomon ya gama dukan waɗannan addu’o’i da roƙe-roƙe ga Ubangiji, sai ya tashi daga gaban bagaden Ubangiji, inda ya durƙusa da hannuwansa a buɗe waje sama.
And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication to the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.
And he stood, and blessed all the congregation of Israel with a loud voice, saying,
Blessed be the LORD, that has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there has not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.
The LORD our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us:
58 Bari yă juye zukatanmu gare shi, don mu yi tafiya a cikin dukan hanyoyinsa, mu kuma kiyaye umarnansa, ƙa’idodinsa, da kuma farillan da ya ba wa kakanninmu.
That he may incline our hearts to him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers.
And let these my words, with which I have made supplication before the LORD, be near to the LORD our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require:
60 saboda dukan mutanen duniya su san cewa Ubangiji, shi ne Allah, babu kuma wani.
That all the people of the earth may know that the LORD is God, and that there is none else.
61 Amma dole ku miƙa zukatanku ga Ubangiji Allahnmu, don ku rayu, ta wurin bin ƙa’idodinsa, ku kuma yi biyayya da umarnansa, kamar yadda kuke yi a wannan lokaci.”
Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.
62 Sai sarki da dukan Isra’ila, suka miƙa hadayu a gaban Ubangiji.
And the king, and all Israel with him, offered sacrifice before the LORD.
And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered to the LORD, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the LORD.
64 A wannan rana sarki ya tsarkake sashe na tsakiyar fili a gaban haikalin Ubangiji, a can kuma ya miƙa hadaya ta ƙonawa, hadaya ta gari, da kitsen hadaya ta salama, gama bagaden tagulla a gaban Ubangiji ya yi ƙanƙanta sosai da za a miƙa hadayun ƙonawa, hadayun hatsi, da kuma kitsen hadayun salama.
The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brazen altar that was before the LORD was too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.
65 Ta haka Solomon da dukan Isra’ila, wato, babban taro, suka yi bikin a lokacin. Mutane suka zo, tun daga Lebo Hamat har zuwa Rafin Masar. Suka yi biki a gaban Ubangiji Allahnmu, kwana bakwai. Suka kuma ƙara kwana bakwai, kwanaki goma sha huɗu gaba ɗaya.
And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath to the river of Egypt, before the LORD our God, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days.
66 A rana ta biye sai ya sallame mutane.
On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went to their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the LORD had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people.
