Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
2 ૨ “હારુનને તથા તેના પુત્રોને આ કહે: ઇઝરાયલી લોકો જે પવિત્ર વસ્તુઓને તેઓ મારે સારુ અલગ કરે છે તેઓથી તેઓ દૂર રહે અને મારા પવિત્ર નામને અશુદ્ધ ન કરે. હું યહોવાહ છું.
“Speak to Aaron and to his sons, tell them to keep away from the holy things of the people of Israel, which they set apart to me. They must not profane my holy name. I am Yahweh.
3 ૩ તું તેઓને કહે કે, ‘તમારો કોઈપણ વંશજ પોતે અશુદ્ધ હોય ત્યારે જે પવિત્ર વસ્તુઓ ઇઝરાયલીઓ યહોવાહને માટે અલગ કરે છે તેઓની પાસે જાય, તે માણસ મારી સંમુખથી અલગ કરાશે. હું યહોવાહ છું.
Say to them, 'If any of your descendants throughout your generations approaches the holy things that the people of Israel have set apart to Yahweh, while he is unclean, that person must be cut off from before me: I am Yahweh.
4 ૪ હારુનના વંશના જે કોઈને કુષ્ઠ રોગ થયો હોય અથવા સ્રાવ થયો હોય; તેણે શુદ્ધ થતાં સુધી યહોવાહના પવિત્ર અર્પણમાંથી કશું ખાવું નહિ, જો કોઈ અશુદ્ધ મૃતદેહને અડે અથવા જે પુરુષને વીર્ય સ્રવતું હોય તેને અડકે,
None of the descendants of Aaron who has an infectious skin disease, or an infection flowing from his body, may eat any of the sacrifices made to Yahweh until he is clean. Whoever touches anything unclean through contact with the dead, or by contact with a man who has a flow of semen,
or whoever touches any creeping animal that makes him unclean, or any person who makes him unclean, whatever kind of uncleanness it may be—
6 ૬ તો યાજક જે કંઈ અશુદ્ધ અડકે તો તે સાંજ સુધી અશુદ્ધ ગણાય અને તે સ્નાન કરીને શુદ્ધ ન થાય ત્યાં સુધી તેણે પવિત્ર અર્પણમાંથી કશું ખાવું નહિ.
then the priest who touches anything unclean will be unclean until evening. He must not eat any of the holy things, unless he has bathed his body in water.
When the sun has set, he will then be clean. After sunset he may eat from the holy things, because they are his food.
8 ૮ તેણે કુદરતી રીતે મૃત્યુ પામેલું કે જંગલી જાનવરે ફાડી નાખેલું પશુ ખાવું નહિ. જો તે ખાય તો અશુદ્ધ ગણાય. હું યહોવાહ છું.
He must not eat anything found dead or killed by wild animals, by which he would defile himself. I am Yahweh.
9 ૯ તું યાજકોને કહે કે યાજકોએ મારા નિયમોનું પાલન કરવું: નહિ તો તેઓને પાપ લાગશે અને મારા નિયમોની અવગણના કરવા બદલ તેમણે મરવું પડશે. તેઓને પવિત્ર કરનાર યહોવાહ હું છું.
The priests must follow my instructions, or they will be guilty of sin and could die for profaning me. I am Yahweh who makes them holy.
10 ૧૦ તે પવિત્ર વસ્તુઓમાંથી કોઈ યાજકના પરિવારના બહારના માણસે ખાવું નહિ. પછી ભલે તે યાજકનો મહેમાન હોય કે તેણે રાખેલો ચાકર હોય.
No one outside the priest's family, including guests of a priest or his hired servants, may eat anything that is holy.
11 ૧૧ પણ જો કોઈ યાજક તેના પોતાના પૈસાથી ચાકરને ખરીદે તો તે તેમાંથી ખાય. યાજકનું કુટુંબ અને તેના ઘરમાં જન્મેલા પણ તે ખોરાકમાંથી ખાય.
But if a priest buys any slave with his own money, that slave may eat from the things set apart to Yahweh. The priest's family members and slaves born in his house, they also may eat with him from those things.
12 ૧૨ જો યાજકની દીકરીના લગ્ન જે પુરુષ યાજક ન હોય તેની સાથે થયા હોય, તો તેણે પણ પવિત્ર અર્પણોમાંથી ખાવું નહિ.
If a priest's daughter married someone who is not a priest, she may not eat any of the holy contribution offerings.
13 ૧૩ પણ જો યાજકની દીકરી વિધવા હોય અથવા છૂટાછેડા આપેલી હોય, તેનું ભરણપોષણ કરવાને કોઈ પુત્ર ન હોય અને તે પોતાના પિતાના કુટુંબમાં પાછી આવી હોય, તો તે પોતાના પિતાના પવિત્ર અર્પણોમાંથી ખાવાનું ખાઈ શકે છે. આ સિવાય જેઓ યાજકોના કુટુંબમાં નથી તેઓએ આ અર્પણોમાંથી ખાવું નહિ.
But if a priest's daughter is a widow, or divorced, and if she has no child, and if she returns to live in her father's house as in her youth, she may eat from her father's food. But no one who is not in the priestly family may eat from the priest's food.
14 ૧૪ જો કોઈ વ્યક્તિ અજાણતા આ પવિત્ર અર્પણોમાંથી ખાય તો, તેની કિંમતના વીસ ટકા ઉમેરીને યાજકને તે મૂલ્ય ભરપાઈ કરી આપે.
If a man eats a holy food without knowing it, then he must repay the priest for it; he must add one-fifth to it and give it back to the priest.
The people of Israel must not profane the holy things that they have raised high and presented to Yahweh,
16 ૧૬ અને એમ તેઓએ પવિત્ર અર્પણોને ખાઈને પોતાના પાપમાં વધારો ન કરવો અને તેને અપવિત્ર ન કરવું. તેઓને શુદ્ધ કરનાર યહોવાહ હું છું.’”
and cause themselves to carry the sin that would make them guilty of eating the holy food, for I am Yahweh who makes them holy.'”
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
18 ૧૮ “તું હારુનને અને તેના પુત્રોને તથા સર્વ ઇઝરાયલના લોકોને કહે કે જો કોઈ ઇઝરાયલી અથવા તેઓની વચ્ચે રહેતો વિદેશી પોતે લીધેલા સંકલ્પો પૂરા કરવા માટે કે ઐચ્છિકાર્પણ માટે યહોવાહની આગળ દહનીયાર્પણ ચઢાવે,
“Speak to Aaron and his sons, and to all the people of Israel. Say to them, 'Any Israelite, or an alien living in Israel, when they present a sacrifice—whether it is to fulfill a vow, or whether it is a freewill offering, or they present to Yahweh a burnt offering,
19 ૧૯ તો તેઓએ પશુઓમાંનાં, ઘેટાંમાંથી, બકરામાંથી કે અન્યમાંથી એબરહિત ખોડખાંપણ વગરના નર ચઢાવવો એ માટે કે તેઓ માન્ય થાય.
if it is to be accepted, they must offer a male animal without blemish from the cattle, sheep, or goats.
But you must not offer whatever has a blemish. I will not accept it on your behalf.
21 ૨૧ જો કોઈ વ્યક્તિ સંકલ્પો પૂરા કરવા અથવા ઐચ્છિકાર્પણ તરીકે યહોવાહ સમક્ષ શાંત્યર્પણ કરે તો તે પશુ બળદ અથવા ઘેટો હોય અને તે ખોડખાંપણ વગર હોય તો જ તે માન્ય થશે.
Whoever offers a sacrifice of fellowship offerings from the herd or the flock to Yahweh to fulfill a vow, or as a freewill offering, it must be unblemished to be accepted. There must be no defect in the animal.
22 ૨૨ તમારે યહોવાહને અંધ, અપંગ, ઈજા પામેલ અંગવાળું, ખૂજલી કે ખરજવાવાળું કોઈ પશુ યહોવાહને ચઢાવવું નહિ, તેમ જ વેદી પર યહોવાહને સારુ હોમયજ્ઞ પણ કરવો નહિ.
You must not offer animals that are blind, disabled, or maimed, or that have warts, sores, or scabs. You must not offer these to Yahweh as a sacrifice by fire on the altar.
23 ૨૩ જો કોઈ બળદ અથવા ઘેટું યહોવાહને અર્પણ કરવામાં આવે અને જો તેને વધારાના અંગો કે ઓછા અંગો હોય તેવાને ઐચ્છિકાર્પણ તરીકે અર્પણ કરવાની છૂટ છે પણ માનતાને સારુ તે માન્ય નહિ કરાય.
You may present as a freewill offering an ox or a lamb that is deformed or small, but an offering like that will not be accepted for a vow.
24 ૨૪ જે પશુના અંડકોશ છૂંદી, કચડી, ચીરી કે કાપી નાખવામાં આવ્યા હોય તેને તમારે યહોવાહને ચઢાવવું નહિ. તમારા દેશમાં એવાઓને ચઢાવવા નહિ.
Do not offer any animal to Yahweh that has bruised, crushed, torn, or cut testicles. Do not do this within your land.
25 ૨૫ અને જે પરદેશીઓ એવાં પશુઓને યહોવાહને માટે અર્પણ તરીકે લાવે, તો તમારે તેનો સ્વીકાર કરવો નહિ. કેમ કે તેઓની અંદર ખામી અને બગાડ છે. હું તેને તમારા લાભમાં માન્ય કરીશ નહિ.’”
You must not present the bread of your God from the hand of a foreigner. Those animals are deformed and have defects in them, they will not be accepted for you.'”
Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
27 ૨૭ “જ્યારે કોઈ વાછરડું, લવારું કે ઘેટું જન્મે ત્યારે સાત દિવસ સુધી તેને તેની મા પાસેથી કોઈએ લઈ લેવું નહિ. આઠમા દિવસે અને તે પછી તે યહોવાહને સારુ હોમયજ્ઞના અર્પણ તરીકે માન્ય થશે.
“When a calf or a sheep or a goat is born, it must remain seven days with its mother. Then from the eighth day on, it may be accepted as a sacrifice for an offering made by fire to Yahweh.
Do not kill a cow or ewe along with its young, both on the same day.
When you sacrifice a thank offering to Yahweh, you must sacrifice it in an acceptable way.
30 ૩૦ તમારે તે જ દિવસે તે જમી લેવું. બીજા દિવસ સવાર સુધી તેમાંથી કંઈ રહેવા દેવું નહિ. હું યહોવાહ છું.
It must be eaten on the same day that it is sacrificed. You must leave none of it until the next morning. I am Yahweh.
So you must keep my commandments and carry them out. I am Yahweh.
32 ૩૨ તમારે મારા પવિત્ર નામને ભ્રષ્ટ કરવું નહિ; બધા ઇઝરાયલીઓ મધ્યે હું પવિત્ર મનાઉં. તમને પવિત્ર કરનાર યહોવાહ હું છું.
You must not profane my holy name. I must be acknowledged as holy by the people of Israel. I am Yahweh who makes you holy,
who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God: I am Yahweh.”
