Ἔσδρας Αʹ 2
1 Ούτοι δε είναι οι άνθρωποι της επαρχίας οι αναβάντες εκ της αιχμαλωσίας, εκ των μετοικισθέντων, τους οποίους Ναβουχοδονόσορ ο βασιλεύς της Βαβυλώνος μετώκισεν εις Βαβυλώνα, και επιστρέψαντες εις Ιερουσαλήμ και εις την Ιουδαίαν, έκαστος εις την πόλιν αυτού·
Now these are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and that returned unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;
2 οίτινες ήλθον μετά Ζοροβάβελ, Ιησού, Νεεμία, Σεραΐα, Ρεελαΐα, Μαροδοχαίου, Βιλσάν, Μισπάρ, Βιγουαί, Ρεούμ, Βαανά. Αριθμός των ανδρών του λαού του Ισραήλ·
who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
3 Υιοί Φαρώς, δισχίλιοι εκατόν εβδομήκοντα δύο.
The children of Parosh, two thousand a hundred seventy and two.
4 Υιοί Σεφατία, τριακόσιοι εβδομήκοντα δύο.
The children of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy and two.
5 Υιοί Αράχ, επτακόσιοι εβδομήκοντα πέντε.
The children of Arah, seven hundred seventy and five.
6 Υιοί Φαάθ-μωάβ, εκ των υιών Ιησού και Ιωάβ, δισχίλιοι οκτακόσιοι δώδεκα.
The children of Pahath-moab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve.
7 Υιοί Ελάμ, χίλιοι διακόσιοι πεντήκοντα τέσσαρες.
The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.
8 Υιοί Ζατθού, εννεακόσιοι τεσσαράκοντα πέντε.
The children of Zattu, nine hundred forty and five.
9 Υιοί Ζακχαί, επτακόσιοι εξήκοντα.
The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and threescore.
10 Υιοί Βανί, εξακόσιοι τεσσαράκοντα δύο.
The children of Bani, six hundred forty and two.
11 Υιοί Βηβαΐ, εξακόσιοι εικοσιτρείς.
The children of Bebai, six hundred twenty and three.
12 Υιοί Αζγάδ, χίλιοι διακόσιοι εικοσιδύο.
The children of Azgad, a thousand two hundred twenty and two.
13 Υιοί Αδωνικάμ, εξακόσιοι εξήκοντα εξ.
The children of Adonikam, six hundred sixty and six.
14 Υιοί Βιγουαί, δισχίλιοι πεντήκοντα εξ.
The children of Bigvai, two thousand fifty and six.
15 Υιοί Αδίν, τετρακόσιοι πεντήκοντα τέσσαρες.
The children of Adin, four hundred fifty and four.
16 Υιοί Ατήρ εκ του Εζεκίου, ενενήκοντα οκτώ.
The children of Ater, of Hezekiah, ninety and eight.
17 Υιοί Βησαί, τριακόσιοι εικοσιτρείς.
The children of Bezai, three hundred twenty and three.
18 Υιοί Ιωρά, εκατόν δώδεκα.
The children of Jorah, a hundred and twelve.
19 Υιοί Ασούμ, διακόσιοι εικοσιτρείς.
The children of Hashum, two hundred twenty and three.
20 Υιοί Γιββάρ, ενενήκοντα πέντε.
The children of Gibbar, ninety and five.
21 Υιοί Βηθλεέμ, εκατόν εικοσιτρείς.
The children of Beth-lehem, a hundred twenty and three.
22 Άνδρες Νετωφά, πεντήκοντα εξ.
The men of Netophah, fifty and six.
23 Άνδρες Αναθώθ, εκατόν εικοσιοκτώ.
The men of Anathoth, a hundred twenty and eight.
24 Υιοί Αζμαβέθ, τεσσαράκοντα δύο.
The children of Azmaveth, forty and two.
25 Υιοί Κιριάθ-αρείμ, Χεφειρά και Βηρώθ, επτακόσιοι τεσσαράκοντα τρεις.
The children of Kiriath-arim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred and forty and three.
26 Υιοί Ραμά και Γαβαά, εξακόσιοι είκοσι και εις.
The children of Ramah and Geba, six hundred twenty and one.
27 Άνδρες Μιχμάς, εκατόν εικοσιδύο.
The men of Michmas, a hundred twenty and two.
28 Άνδρες Βαιθήλ και Γαί, διακόσιοι εικοσιτρείς.
The men of Beth-el and Ai, two hundred twenty and three.
29 Υιοί Νεβώ, πεντήκοντα δύο.
The children of Nebo, fifty and two.
30 Υιοί Μαγβίς, εκατόν πεντήκοντα εξ.
The children of Magbish, a hundred fifty and six.
31 Υιοί του άλλου Ελάμ, χίλιοι διακόσιοι πεντήκοντα τέσσαρες.
The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.
32 Υιοί Χαρήμ, τριακόσιοι είκοσι.
The children of Harim, three hundred and twenty.
33 Υιοί Λωδ, Αδίδ, και Ωνώ, επτακόσιοι εικοσιπέντε.
The children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred twenty and five.
34 Υιοί Ιεριχώ, τριακόσιοι τεσσαράκοντα πέντε.
The children of Jericho, three hundred forty and five.
35 Υιοί Σεναά, τρισχίλιοι και εξακόσιοι τριάκοντα.
The children of Senaah, three thousand and six hundred and thirty.
36 Οι ιερείς· υιοί Ιεδαΐα, εκ του οίκου Ιησού, εννεακόσιοι εβδομήκοντα τρεις.
The priests: the children of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy and three.
37 Υιοί Ιμμήρ, χίλιοι πεντήκοντα δύο.
The children of Immer, a thousand fifty and two.
38 Υιοί Πασχώρ, χίλιοι διακόσιοι τεσσαράκοντα επτά.
The children of Pashhur, a thousand two hundred forty and seven.
39 Υιοί Χαρήμ, χίλιοι δεκαεπτά.
The children of Harim, a thousand and seventeen.
40 Οι Λευΐται· υιοί Ιησού, και Καδμιήλ, εκ των υιών Ωδουΐα, εβδομήκοντα τέσσαρες.
The Levites: the children of Jeshua and Kadmiel, of the children of Hodaviah, seventy and four.
41 Οι ψαλτωδοί· υιοί Ασάφ, εκατόν εικοσιοκτώ.
The singers: the children of Asaph, a hundred twenty and eight.
42 Οι υιοί των πυλωρών· υιοί Σαλλούμ, υιοί Ατήρ, υιοί Ταλμών, υιοί Ακκούβ, υιοί Ατιτά, υιοί Σωβαΐ· πάντες εκατόν τριάκοντα εννέα.
The children of the porters: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai, in all a hundred thirty and nine.
43 Οι Νεθινείμ· υιοί Σιχά, υιοί Ασουφά, υιοί Ταββαώθ,
The Nethinim: the children of Ziha, the children of Hasupha, the children of Tabbaoth;
44 υιοί Κηρώς, υιοί Σιαά, υιοί Φαδών,
the children of Keros, the children of Siaha, the children of Padon;
45 υιοί Λεβανά, υιοί Αγαβά, υιοί Ακκούβ,
the children of Lebanah, the children of Hagabah, the children of Akkub;
46 υιοί Αγάβ, υιοί Σαλμαί, υιοί Ανάν,
the children of Hagab, the children of Salmai, the children of Hanan;
47 υιοί Γιδδήλ, υιοί Γαάρ, υιοί Ρεαΐα,
the children of Giddel, the children of Gahar, the children of Reaiah;
48 υιοί Ρεσίν, υιοί Νεκωδά, υιοί Γαζάμ,
the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda, the children of Gazzam;
49 υιοί Ουζά, υιοί Φασέα, υιοί Βησαί,
the children of Uzza, the children of Paseah, the children of Besai;
50 υιοί Ασενά, υιοί Μεουνείμ, υιοί Νεφουσείμ,
the children of Asnah, the children of Meunim, the children of Nephusim;
51 υιοί Βακβούκ, υιοί Ακουφά, υιοί Αρούρ,
the children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur;
52 υιοί Βασλούθ, υιοί Μεϊδά, υιοί Αρσά,
the children of Bazluth, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha;
53 υιοί Βαρκώς, υιοί Σισάρα, υιοί Θαμά,
the children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Temah;
54 υιοί Νεσιά, υιοί Ατιφά.
the children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.
55 Οι υιοί των δούλων του Σολομώντος· υιοί Σωταΐ, υιοί Σωφερέθ, υιοί Φερουδά,
The children of Solomon's servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Hassophereth, the children of Peruda;
56 υιοί Ιααλά, υιοί Δαρκών, υιοί Γιδδήλ,
the children of Jaalah, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel;
57 υιοί Σεφατία, υιοί Αττίλ, υιοί Φοχερέθ από Σεβαΐμ, υιοί Αμί.
the children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth-hazzebaim, the children of Ami.
58 Πάντες οι Νεθινείμ, και οι υιοί των δούλων του Σολομώντος, ήσαν τριακόσιοι ενενήκοντα δύο.
All the Nethinim, and the children of Solomon's servants, were three hundred ninety and two.
59 Ούτοι δε ήσαν οι αναβάντες από Θελ-μελάχ, Θελ-αρησά, Χερούβ, Αδδάν και Ιμμήρ· δεν ηδύναντο όμως να δείξωσι τον οίκον της πατριάς αυτών και το σπέρμα αυτών, αν ήσαν εκ του Ισραήλ·
And these were they that went up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer; but they could not tell their fathers' houses, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:
60 Υιοί Δαλαΐα, υιοί Τωβία, υιοί Νεκωδά, εξακόσιοι πεντήκοντα δύο·
the children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.
61 και εκ των υιών των ιερέων· υιοί Αβαΐα, υιοί Ακκώς, υιοί Βαρζελλαΐ, όστις έλαβε γυναίκα εκ των θυγατέρων Βαρζελλαΐ του Γαλααδίτου και ωνομάσθη κατά το όνομα αυτών.
And of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
62 Ούτοι εζήτησαν την καταγραφήν αυτών μεταξύ των απαριθμηθέντων κατά γενεαλογίαν, και δεν ευρέθησαν· όθεν εξεβλήθησαν από της ιερατείας.
These sought their register, that is, the genealogy, but it was not found; therefore were they deemed polluted and put from the priesthood.
63 Και είπε προς αυτούς ο Θιρσαθά να μη φάγωσιν από των αγιωτάτων πραγμάτων, εωσού αναστηθή ιερεύς μετά Ουρίμ και Θουμμίμ.
And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.
64 Πάσα η σύναξις ομού ήσαν τεσσαράκοντα δύο χιλιάδες τριακόσιοι εξήκοντα,
The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,
65 εκτός των δούλων αυτών και των θεραπαινίδων αυτών, οίτινες ήσαν επτακισχίλιοι τριακόσιοι τριάκοντα επτά· και πλην τούτων, διακόσιοι ψαλτωδοί και ψάλτριαι.
beside their men-servants and their maid-servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven; and they had two hundred singing men and singing women.
66 Οι ίπποι αυτών επτακόσιοι τριάκοντα έξ· αι ημίονοι αυτών, διακόσιαι τεσσαράκοντα πέντε·
Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;
67 αι κάμηλοι αυτών, τετρακόσιαι τριάκοντα πέντε· αι όνοι, εξακισχίλιαι επτακόσιαι είκοσι.
their camels, four hundred thirty and five; their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
68 Και τινές εκ των αρχηγών των πατριών, ότε ήλθον εις τον οίκον του Κυρίου τον εν Ιερουσαλήμ, προσέφεραν αυτοπροαιρέτως διά τον οίκον του Θεού, να ανεγείρωσιν αυτόν εν τω τόπω αυτού·
And some of the heads of fathers' houses, when they came to the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem, offered willingly for the house of God to set it up in its place;
69 έδωκαν κατά την δύναμιν αυτών εις το θησαυροφυλάκιον του έργου εξ μυριάδας και χιλίας δραχμάς χρυσίου και πέντε χιλιάδας μνας αργυρίου και εκατόν ιερατικούς χιτώνας.
they gave after their ability into the treasury of the work threescore and one thousand darics of gold, and five thousand pounds of silver, and one hundred priests' tunics.
70 Ούτως οι ιερείς και οι Λευΐται και μέρος εκ του λαού και οι ψαλτωδοί και οι πυλωροί και οι Νεθινείμ κατώκησαν εν ταις πόλεσιν αυτών, και πας ο Ισραήλ εν ταις πόλεσιν αυτού.
So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinim, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
